With the release of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti tomorrow and the launch of RTX 3070 Ti on June 10, ASUS showed off its custom models. These include models from the ROG STRIX LC, ROG STRIX and TUF series.
ASUS has water-cooled the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with the ROG STRIX LC model. The design of the card features an angular shroud with lots of backlighting both on the card itself and on the heatsink fans. The water block inside the shroud is in direct contact with the GPU and memory. The hose connecting the unit to the radiator is 600 mm longer, and the radiator is 240 mm longer.
The ROG STRIX LC comes with two dedicated 120mm fans optimized for both high CFM and high static radiator pressure, as well as a third fan hidden under the shroud.
ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti are equipped with a powerful air cooler to maximize performance and keep your graphics card cool under load. The card is a 2.9-slot card with an angled shroud design. It features plenty of RGB lighting that fully illuminates the left edge of the card. ROG STRIX RTX 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti have a metal back. ASUS uses a triple-fan cooler design using Axial-tech design to properly cool the card. In standby mode, the card may go into 0 dB mode. The new circuit board provides more power through the triple 8-pin PCIe power connectors. This allows for better acceleration.
If you’re looking for something a little more affordable, the ASUS TUF range has got you covered. ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti are both more affordable and have great performance.
The card is not as powerful as the ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 2.7 slot design, but has a triple-fan cooling design with Axial-tech fans and a full-length aluminum backplate. ASUS opted for a more discreet, lower profile design on the TUF series cards, all black with a special RGB accent on the front of the card.
