The rollout of the all-new PlayStation Plus is well underway, with Asia’s launch last week and Japan launching starting today! Additional markets will launch this month, and we can’t wait for fans to enjoy the new service.
Today, we are pleased to share the monthly games that will be included in June for PlayStation Plus. From June 7 to July 4, PlayStation Plus members can add God of War (2018), Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl to their game library. When the all-new PlayStation Plus launches in your region, these titles will be available as monthly games to all PlayStation Plus members including those on the PlayStation Plus Essential plan (which includes the same benefits PlayStation Plus members get today).
Let’s take a closer look at the titles.
God of War | PS4
Living as a man outside the shadow of the gods, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar lands, unexpected threats, and a second chance at being a father. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfill a deeply personal quest. This staggering reimagining of God of War combines all the hallmarks of the iconic series – epic boss fights, fluid combat, and breathtaking scale – and fuses them with a powerful and moving narrative that re-establishes Kratos’ world.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker | PS4
The Naruto franchise goes 4 vs. 4, featuring team-based gameplay with 8 ninjas fighting simultaneously. Players cooperate as a team of four to compete against other teams online. Graphically, Shinobi Striker is also built from the ground up in a completely new graphic style. Lead your team and fight online to see who the best ninjas are.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl | PS4/PS5
Brawl it out as your favorite Nickelodeon characters in bombastic platform battles. With a power-packed cast of heroes from the Nickelodeon universe, face-off with all-stars from SpongeBob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Loud House, Danny Phantom, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, and more to determine ultimate animation dominance.
With unique move sets and attacks inspired by their personalities, each character has an individual style of play enabling endless action for Nickelodeon’s legion of fans.

PS Plus Free Games for June 2022 Revealed

Ahead of their release on June 7, Sony announces the three free games subscribers will get on the PlayStation Plus Essential tier.
June 2022 is shaping up to be a landmark month for PS Plus and the overall PlayStation brand. A State of Play is scheduled to take place on June 2, showcasing new third-party PS4 and PS5 games, as well as new titles for PS VR2. On June 7, the three free games for PS Plus will release, and on June 13, the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers will launch in North America too.
Luckily, Sony has now confirmed what those three games are. Sony’s PS Plus free games for June 2022 lineup previously leaked from the website Areajugones, which was then supported by Dealabs users Billbil-Kun. As many may know by now, Billbil-Kun has leaked accurately leaked the PS Plus games for quite some time now, skipping only a month or two. Leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, but Sony has now confirmed that PS Plus lineup.

PS Plus will receive three new games on June 7, which will then be available until July 5.
These include God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Releasing God of War when many are heavily anticipating its sequel, God of War: Ragnarok, is a smart move. It’s a strong lead-in ahead of the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers as well.
Meanwhile, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is an online multiplayer game based on the beloved anime, featuring 4v4 battles. It’s the first Naruto game to allow character creation and takes place during the Chunin Exams when Naruto is Hokage. Overall, it should be noted that the game has a “weak” OpenCritic rating, with a top critic average of 64.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is another multiplayer game, this time in a closer vein to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It features characters from several shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Loud House, Invader Zim, Danny Phantom, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
It features a similar rating to Naruto to Boruto, with a top critic average of 65 on OpenCritic.
Of course, if anyone has yet to claim the PS Plus free games for May 2022, they will have until the new games release to do so. The PS Plus free games for May 2022 include FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, and Curse of the Dead Gods. It remains to be seen how June ultimately compares to May and is received by fans, but no matter what, PlayStation fans expect a ton of reveals next month.
PS Plus Premium launches on June 13.

The list of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for June 2022 was officially revealed by Sony Interactive Entertainment tonight, and it is fully consistent with an early leak from insider billbil-kun on the French website Dealabs .
It has already become a tradition.
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users will be able to get three games next month with subscription:
- God of War (PS4)
- Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (PS4)
- Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (PS4, PS5)
All of them will be available for download on June 7, 2022 . The giveaway will run until July 5th.
As a reminder, now subscribers still have a chance to pick up the May list of games, which includes the isometric roguelike Tribes of Midgard , the football simulator FIFA 22 and the cooperative adventure Curse of the Dead Gods .

PlayStation Plus games have been leaking online for a long time a few days before the official announcement, and next month’s selection was no exception.
