With it being years since Ubisoft’s launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity, their many puzzles continue to mystify all who play it. If you venture into the Armour Room in the Café Théâtre, you’ll notice the absolutely snazzy armour of Thomas de Carneillon, locked in a fancy circular cage.

But in order to unlock Thomas de Carneillon’s armour, you would have to find and solve all the Nostradamus Enigma riddles dotted around Paris. With 18 of them to complete, it’s understandable to look for a bit of help once in a while.
Use Eagle Vision to find and activate each glyph.
Mercurius
Glyph Location
The easiest Enigma riddle to find. Simply head to the Armour Room on the lowest level of the Café Théâtre. The glyph is to the wall on your right by the threshold to the Armour Room.
Riddle 1
After clicking on the first glyph, you’ll be given your first riddle. To answer the riddle, go up the stairs to the first floor, and you’ll find the next glyph on the portrait of the lady in the blue dress. This will activate the final riddle for Mercurius.
Final Riddle
For the final riddle, scale the walls of the Café Théâtre and up the dome. You’ll find the location of the final glyph beneath the weathervane at the top of the dome.

Mars
Glyph Location
To find the glyph that starts the Enigma riddle Mars, go to Cité in the Ille de la Cité district of Paris.
You’ll find it on the roof of a house and behind the chimney.
Riddle 1
To solve Mars’ first riddle, head to the cemetery in front of the building where the first glyph is. You’ll find it on the second tombstone, closer to the church.
Riddle 2
For the second riddle, you’d have to travel to the Palais De Justice, although it’s still part of the Ille de la Cité district. You’ll find the next glyph and next riddle on the bust of Jesus above the main entrance of this building.
Final Riddle
For the final Mars riddle, you must go further west from where the second riddle is, but still in the same district. Called the Place Dauphine, you’ll find the final riddle beneath the statue of a man on horseback.

Saturnus
Glyph Location
To start off the Saturnus Enigma riddle, go to the Palais De Justice in the Ille de la Cité, and you’ll find it on the ground at the base of a tall stone post.
Riddle 1
To solve Saturnus’ first riddle, simply go down the street and climb up the clock tower of the Palais De Justice. There, you’ll find the glyph on the clock face.
Riddle 2
For the second riddle, travel to the Notre-Dame Cathedral. You will find the next glyph and riddle on the circular, glass window between the church’s two towers.
Final Riddle
For Saturnus’ final riddle, continue your climb up Notre-Dame’s roof. Starting from the tower on the right, count to the fifth arch and jump down to the balcony below — you’ll find it there.

Scorpio
Glyph Location
To activate the Scorpio Enigma riddle, go to the small church behind Notre-Dame in Le Marais. Climb up the right-hand side of the church, you’ll find the starting glyph on the wall.
Riddle 1
The location of the next riddle is actually right in front of the church, by the tree in the courtyard.
Riddle 2
You will find the second glyph and riddle at Arsenal in Le Marais, at the base of the turret of the Hôtel de Sens’ roof.
Final Riddle
Returning to Marais in Le Marais, the third and final glyph is located on the base of the horseman statue at the location indicated on the map.

Aquarius
Glyph Location
You will find the starting glyph on the roof of the building indicated on the map, at Temple in Le Marais.
Temple is a restricted area, so beware the guards.
Riddle 1
Still remaining in Temple in Le Marais, go to the roof of Temple dungeon landmark. You’ll find the next glyph/riddle location on the wall of one of its four towers.
Riddle 2
Still remaining in Temple in Le Marais, leave the main Temple dungeon. Go further ahead to the location indicated on the map above. You will find the next glyph in a small courtyard next to a fountain.
Final Riddle
For the final glyph, go further east and enter the underground grave indicated on the map. Head further down until you pass a column with a cross on it. There’s an entrance adjacent to the latter, blocked by fallen timber. Simply slide under it and proceed ahead. You will find a tomb with the last glyph on it.

Terra
Glyph Location
For the Terra starting glyph, go to Arsenal in Le Marais. You will find it at the top of the dome of the building indicated on the map.
Riddle 1
From the dome of the building, turn around to the inner courtyard/garden. There is a tall statue, and the glyph is at the base of it.
Riddle 2
A few feet away from the statue there lies a church. Climb up the church tower and look down, and you will see the glyph lying on the balcony.
Final Riddle
For Terra’s final riddle, head to the area indicated on the map in Temple in Le Marais. There is a maze with a tower at its centre. You will find the last glyph at the top of the tower.

Virgo
Glyph Location
Located in Porte-Saint-Denis district in Ventre de Paris, head to the small church indicated on the map. Climb up to the lower roof near the base of the tower, and you’ll find the starting glyph on the wall before you.
Riddle 1
To answer the first riddle, go to the area indicated on the map. Enter the building with the red flags hanging in front of it. You will find the glyph on the first floor, by the foot of a bed.
Riddle 2
Go to the centre of Porte-Saint-Denis and you will find the next glyph on a large, half-buried cross.
Final Riddle
To find the final glyph to the Virgo riddle, head to neighbouring Halles district in Ventre de Paris.
You will find the last glyph at the centre of a busy crossroads at the location indicated on the map above.

Venus
Glyph Location
For Venus’s starting glyph, climb to the first roof of the building, where you’ll find it at the base of the tower.
Riddle 1
Head to the large square in Vendôme district, Le Louvre. You will find it at the base of the large statue at the centre of the square.
Riddle 2
Go to the location marked on the map above in the Tuileries district, Le Louvre. You will find it on the ground by a streetlamp and in front of a fallen carriage.
Final Riddle
Return to Vendôme district and head to the building located on the map above. You will find the final glyph on the Medici Column at the base of the ladder.

Glyph Location
To find the starting glyph for Libra, climb to the roof of the building on the map above.
You’ll find it on a dividing wall to your right.
Riddle 1
Head to the Tuileries Palace not far away from the starting glyph. Climb up the main entrance of the palace, and you’ll find the glyph above a window between two statues.
Riddle 2
To answer the second riddle, head to the square not far from the Tuileries Palace. You will find the glyph between two soldiers near the stairs to the guillotine.
Final Riddle
Go to the cemetery in Feydeau indicated on the map. You’ll find the last glyph on the sidewall of a mausoleum.

Aries
Glyph Location
To find the starting glyph for Aries’ riddle, go to the Tuileries district in Le Louvre. Climb up the building indicated on the map, the glyph is on the dividing wall.
Riddle 1
Not far away from the starting point of Aries riddle is the inner courtyard of the Louvre Palace.
The solution for the first riddle lies on the main archway indicated on the map, below the balcony.
Riddle 2
Go to the gardens of the Palais-Royal in Vendôme district, you will find the corresponding glyph on the patch of grass across a large statue.
Final Riddle
For the final solution to Aries solution, go to the Pont de la Concorde landmark. You will find the glyph on the mid-point of the bridge.

Jupiter
Glyph Location
Climb up the building indicated on the map in Saint-Thomas-d’Aquin district in Les Invalides. You’ll find the Jupiter riddle starting glyph on a dividing wall next to a chimney.
Riddle 1
The next glyph location is in the adjacent palace to the one you started in. Climb to the roof of the Palais Bourbon, there’s a connecting open-air corridor above the archway. You’ll find the glyph on a wall atop a bench.
Riddle 2
Go to Saint-Lambert district in Les Invalides indicated on the map. There’s a small village with an abandoned water wheel. You’ll find the next glyph on the steps by the latter.
Final Riddle
Still in the same area in the same district, go further west, and you’ll find a bridge. The final glyph is near the eastern edge of the bridge.

Taurus
Glyph Location
Head to Invalides district in Les Invalides district and go down a tunnel. You’ll find the starting glyph on the wall on the right-hand side.
Riddle 1
As soon as you exit the tunnel, you’ll see a pulley machine. Climb up the steps, and you’ll find the glyph at the base of the machine.
Riddle 2
Within walking distance, the next glyph you’ll find on a series of arched gateways. To get there, simply climb up to the road above the tunnel and head east.
You’ll see a crowd gathering near a gate.
Riddle 3
Continue past the arched gateways until you see a tree atop a rocky formation. Climb up the stage, and you’ll find the glyph on the floor.
Final Riddle
South of where you’re standing you’ll see a large palace known as the Ecole Militaire. Climb up the main entrance of the palace, and you’ll find the last glyph above below the dome’s edge.

Cancer
Glyph Location
Go to the Faubourg Saint-Germain district in Le Quartier Latin and climb up the building indicated on the map. You’ll find it on a dividing wall against a ladder.
Riddle 1
Across from the starting glyph location, you’ll see a large church with three towers, one standing taller and farther backward than the rest. Climb up the latter tower until you see the rounded platform above — you’ll find the glyph there.
Riddle 2
This time, you’d have to travel to Luxembourg district to go to Luxembourg Palace.
You’ll find the glyph through the main entrance and on the floor of the grand foyer.
Riddle 3
Head out of the Luxembourg Palace through the backdoor, where you’ll find yourself in the palace garden. There’s a fountain in the centre; the glyph is to its right.
Final Riddle
Still on the palace grounds, the final riddle refers to the underground mausoleum. Head to the location indicated on the map on the left-hand side and go down the stairs. Keep going straight until you reach the end of the corridor, before turning right and into another corridor. At the end of the latter, you’ll find the last glyph on the left column.

Sagittarius
Glyph Location
The starting glyph for the Sagittarius riddle is on the building indicated on the map. On the roof of the latter, you’ll find it on a dividing wall.
Riddle 1
Across the location where the starting glyph is, is a domed building called the Collège des Quatre-Nations.
You’ll find the next glyph and second riddle at the peak of the dome.
Riddle 2
To find the next glyph and final riddle, head to Sorbonne University in Sorbonne district. Climb up to the top of the domed tower, and you’ll find the glyph on the wall under the dome.
Final Riddle
Paris Observatory is a restricted area and heavily guarded.
For the glyph to Sagittarius’ final riddle, head to Luxembourg district for the Paris Observatory. Climb up the northern side of the building where a telescope is located and you’ll find the final glyph on the ground beside it.

Pisces
Glyph Location
To start off the Pisces riddle, head to Saint Jacques district in La Bièvre. You’ll find it on the wall to the right-hand side of a dim alleyway on the map above.
Panthéon is a restricted area. You might need to fight your way in.
Riddle 1
To obtain the next riddle, go to the Panthéon building in the Panthéon district.
On the main entrance to the building, climb up one of the columns, and you’ll find the glyph behind the pediment.
Riddle 2
For the next glyph and riddle, you will find it on the floor, in the dome of the Panthéon.
Riddle 3
Still around the Panthéon, this time head to the east end of the building. You will see a corridor with a row of columns. You will find the glyph and final riddle behind the middle column.
Riddle 4
This time, enter the Panthéon and climb up. You’ll find the glyph beneath the painting on the right-hand side pillar closer to the main entrance.

Final Riddle
For the final riddle, head deeper into the building and down a staircase from either the left or right-hand side. Walk past the only entrance in the area, and keep walking straight through the circular room. Turn to the first entryway on your left and you’ll find the glyph on the floor.
Gemini
Glyph Location
To start off the Gemini riddle, go to the first glyph indicated on the map in Saint-Marcel district, found on the side of a house.
Riddle 1
In front of the house is a slightly wooded, marshy area where you’ll find the next glyph and riddle by the feet of a group of citizens.
Riddle 2
Still in the same district, the second riddle’s solution is in the area indicated on the map. It’s on the ground right beside a derelict fountain.
Final Riddle
Right on the border between Saint-Marcel and Saint-Jacques district is a house with a tower beside it. You can find the glyph near the base of the tower.

Leo
Glyph Location
You’ll find the glyph on a tall church tower in the Hôtel de Ville district indicated on the map.
Riddle 1
Still in the same district, go to the large fortress indicated on the map.
Climb up to the top of the square tower of the fortress and you’ll find it on the floor.
Riddle 2
Not far from the fortress is a vast cemetery called the Cimitière des Innocents. Go to the location indicated on the map, and you’ll find the glyph on a fresco in the corridor entrance.
Final Riddle
From the cemetery, go to the landmark of Saint-Eustache church and climb up to the roof. On the right-hand side of the church, you’ll find it on the surface of the tower roof.

Capricorn
Glyph Location
To get the starting glyph for Capricorn riddle, you’ll find it on Hôtel de Ville district on the chimney wall of the building on the map.
Riddle 1
For the next glyph, go to the building indicated on the map. Climb up the main entrance of the building, and you’ll find the glyph on the spot marked on the image above.
Riddle 2
For the solution to the second riddle, you’ll have noticed that you’ve passed a site of execution. Go back to that site, and you’ll find the next glyph on the ground by the stairs to the execution platform.
Final Riddle
For the final riddle, head to the tall church tower indicated on the map. Climb up to the roof of the tower and that’s where you’ll find the final glyph for Capricorn.

There are 18 Nostradamus Enigmas to solve, each rewarding you with a fragment that you can use in the basement of the Cafe Theatre to access the Thomas de Carneillon Master Assassin outfit.
You can make a start as soon as you have 4 fragments, so when you’re ready, jump to the Cafe Theatre Basement Puzzle section, because did you really think it was going to be as easy as nipping down there and cashing in your fragments for new togs? We should just be thankful that we don’t need an app.

Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Mercurius
First Riddle
Head up the main staircase. The solution to the riddle is the portrait of the woman to the right.
Final Riddle
Go through the training room on the right and out onto the roof terrace.
Scale the domed roof with the weather vane perched on top of it to solve the final riddle.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Venus
Climb up to the roof and check the wall for the starter symbol.
First Riddle
Head southwest to the large courtyard.
The solution is on the statue in the centre.
Second Riddle
Head southwest again to the large park, where you’ll find the symbol on the ground.
Final Riddle
It helps to have unlocked the fast travel node so that you can just teleport onto the roof here. The last symbol is on the side of the small tower that rises up next to the domed roof.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Terra
The first symbol is on top of the domed roof.
First Riddle
There’s a small courtyard to the side of the building.
The symbol is on the statue in the centre.
Second Riddle
Make your way to the small church to the northeast and climb up to the roof. The next symbol is up here.
Final Riddle
Look to the north to spot a maze with a small tower at the centre.
The symbol is at the top of the tower.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Mars
The initial symbol is on a chimney.
First Riddle
Drop down to the graveyard below. The next symbol is on the gravestone next to the flag.
Second Riddle
Between Notre Dame and the large cathedral of a similar size, is a small church.
Scale the front of the building to find the next symbol on the stone face up here.
Final Riddle
Make your way to the pointy end of the central island on the map. The last symbol is on the base of the statue.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Jupiter
You know the drill — get up on the roof to find the first symbol.
First Riddle
Head west to the building in the restricted area.
The symbol is behind the parapet with the clock face.
Second Riddle
Make your way to the rural district in the south. The symbol is on a crumbling brick wall near a water wheel.
Final Riddle
Head a little further south to where the river widens.
The symbol is on the large stone bridge.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Saturnus
The first symbol is just off the street.
First Riddle
To the west is a building with a big, fancy clock face sitting between two statues. The next symbol is up here.
Second Riddle
Scale the front of the Notre Dame cathedral to find the next symbol at the large window above.
Third Riddle
Start climbing towards the sloped roof with the angel statue at the end.
About halfway across the roof, turn to the south.
Start making your way down.
The last symbol is on the balcony floor.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Aries
Pop up on the roof for the first symbol.
First Riddle
Head west to the Louvre.
Scale the western side of the building that faces inwards to find the next symbol on the clock face.
Second Riddle
Head north to the next district. The symbol is on the ground in the courtyard here, next to a tiny canon on a plinth.
Final Riddle
The last symbol is halfway across the westernmost bridge on the map.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Nostradamus Enigma Taurus
The first symbol is underneath the bridge, next to the cart.
First Riddle
Head to the west and you’ll spot a wooden construction next to the river. The symbol is up here.
Second Riddle
Head east and you’ll come across these stone arches where you’ll find the next symbol.
Third Riddle
Beyond the arches, you’ll see a Ghibli-esque tree on top of a rocky outcrop. The symbol is on the wooden decking next to it.
Final Riddle
Continue east towards the large building.
Scale the front of the building to find the last symbol.

Riddle of Nostradamus — Mercury
The answer to the first puzzle is a painting near the stairs on the second floor of the Teatr cafe.
The answer to the last puzzle is under the rooster on the roof of the cafe.
To solve the first puzzle, we jump from the roof to the cemetery and look for the sign on the tombstone.
Second clue.
And the last sign is on the statue with the horse.
Solving the first puzzle.
The second sign is on the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral.
The last sign is on the roof of the same cathedral.
After the first clue, we jump from the roof to the ground to the statue.
To find the second sign, climb the tower.
The last sign is in the middle of the labyrinth garden.
Take the quest.
After the first sign, we run to the guillotine and climb a tall building.
We jump off the building and look for the next sign on the ground next to the guillotine.
The last sign is on the roof of one of the churches.
Take the quest.
And we climb for the first sign on one of the towers of the Grand Chateau.
After the second sign, we run to the cemetery of the dead.
And finally, for the last clue, we climb onto the roof of the Saint-Eustache church.
Take the quest. In this puzzle, all the signs are next to the «Pantheon».
We climb the Pantheon for the first sign. Watch out for a few guards on the roof.
Now let’s go even higher.
The answer to the third puzzle is at the back of the Pantheon next to the square pillars.
The fourth sign sets inside the Pantheon. You need to climb up the scaffolding to reach it.
There is also a man 6 guards.
And the last sign is in the basement. The entrance to the basement is located inside the building at the back wall (marked on the screen below).

The riddle begins in the Marais at the church.
Jump off the church after the first sign.
Second character.
The third sign is on the monument.
Take the quest.
The first sign is in De Sade’s brothel.
After the next sign, we run to the «court of miracles».
And finally, we run after the last sign to the center of the intersection.
The puzzle starts on the roof of one of the buildings in Saint-Marcel.
After the first sign, we jump off the roof and look for the sign at the edge of the game world.
The second sign is next to the fountain.
The twins are looking for the last sign in the riddle by the river.

Climb the church for the first sign (life hack — you can teleport to the synchronization point on this church and go down a little to the sign).
We run after the second sign in the foyer of the palace.
The third sign is located in the palace garden near the fountain.
The last sign is in the catacombs. The screenshots below show the entrance to these catacombs and the location of the sign itself.

After the second sign, we run into the countryside to the mill.
We are looking for the last sign on the bridge.

The first sign is literally two steps away from the beginning of the quest.

The third sign in the center of the square near the statue of «Marsu».
For the last sign we climb onto the roof of the “military academy”.
Start of the puzzle.
For the first sign we climb on the statues of the palace.
The second is at the guillotine. Be careful — here you can aggro the guards.
The last sign is located in the cemetery near the church in the Feydo area.
The first clue is in the center of the square behind the monument.
For the second one, you have to run to the edge of the map.
You need to look for the third one on the roof of the tower in the «bread market» (life hack — you can teleport to the synchronization point on this tower and go down a little to the sign).

The last sign is on the Concord Bridge.
We take the quest on the roof of one of the buildings next to the Temple castle.
After the first sign we climb onto the roof of the castle.
The second one is on the ground near the fountain. Be careful — there are several guards near the fountain.
The last sign is underground in the catacombs.
That’s it, you have guessed all 18 riddles of Nostradamus. Now you can run to the armory in the basement of the Theater cafe. There you will need to go through three more simple tests and you will receive the legendary armor of the same assassin Tom de Carneion, who defeated Jacques de Molay!

First puzzle
To the right of the cage with the armor, read the book where we need to collect symbols.

If you have done at least one investigation in the game, you have been in prison, where Eugene Francois Vidocq is behind bars and where we are given a reward for catching criminals.
As soon as you go outside, turn left and see the clock on the palace of justice, and there is a symbol on it.
The second puzzle
Our mother is in the heart of a rose.

And look how the rose shines at sunset
The puzzle is located on Notre Dame Cathedral, climb up in front of the entrance to the statue, there will be a symbol on it.
Third puzzle
Stand between the two, looking at our Mother.
On the way from the rose to the transept – The Pentateuch will help you.
Arches five and five nightmares — wide eyes.
Under the last one there will be a treasure:
Gate to infinity.
