Passt nun folgende Einstellungen an:
- Bevorzugte Aktualisierungsrate -> Höchste Verfügbare
- Energieverwaltungsmodus -> Maximale Leistung bevorzugen
- Threaded-Optimierung -> Ein
- Vertikale Synchronisierung -> Aus
- Mehrere Anzeigen/gemischte GPU-Beschleunigung -> Einzel-Display-Leistungs-Modus

What parents need to know about the game Fortnite.
Fortnite is one of the most popular computer games in the world. It is important for modern parents to become familiar with the basic concepts of this game so that you can freely discuss with your children what is good and what is bad about Fortnite and how it changes our world. While playing Fortnite, the child communicates with other children, while he learns not only the game, but also the specifics of marketing. He is affected by the social engineering techniques of the gaming industry, aimed at capturing and holding the attention of children. All these things can affect children in one way or another, and it makes sense for us to talk to them about this. It is important for us that Fortnite not only takes time, but also contributes to the development of the child.
Fortnite is a multiplayer game. In the Battle Royale or Battle Royale mode, this is such a massive online game where the strongest survive.
In Fortnite, 100 players fight against each other on a large map. Weapons can be found on the floor or in chests. After you are «killed», you go back to the lobby — the place where the game starts. To win, you must be the last survivor. During the game, a zone is approaching from the edges of the map, which deals a certain amount of damage to players if it comes into contact with it. The zone was created so that the game would not last forever. One game from start to win lasts 20-35 minutes.
Basic Fortnite terms:
- Hilling — replenish the health of the hero
- Highground (highground) — position above
- loot — weapons, first aid kits and materials
Why is Fortnite so popular and what’s so special about it?
Fortnite was announced on December 10, 2011 and then it had only PVE (player versus bot) mode, which was paid, and the number of simultaneously playing players did not exceed 100. On July 25, 2017, pvp mode (player versus player) was added to Fortnite and the game is free. With the advent of the battle royale mode, the rating of the game began to skyrocket, although it had a lot in common with other games that also have a battle royale mode, such as h2Z1 and Pubg.
The main inventions of fortnite in the gaming world are definitely the battle pass (bp), seasons and live map. The Battle Pass is a thing with rewards that unlock as you level up. One season lasts 70 days. Each season, the rewards change and the level resets. Every week on Thursday, a new week of challenges begins to help increase the level of bpb. It takes an average of 4 hours to complete the challenges, and these same people are not allowed to leave Fortnite for a long time.
In Fortnite, when a player «finishes» the enemy, his body simply disappears and his projection flies into the sky. There is no cruelty, body parts and «blood». Thanks to this, the age limit has been lowered to 12 years.
Your level of play is determined by several parameters:
— shooting accuracy;
— construction speed;
— building literacy;
— building editing;
— game experience.
It is very difficult for beginners and not only to win at first, and here is why:
Firstly, since there is no division between beginners and professionals in Fortnite, all players are boiled in one pot;
Secondly, there are 100 people fighting on the map; you can kill 30 people, and then at the end you will be low on health and get killed by a newbie with a zero rating.
And thirdly, you may not be lucky with a weapon, that is, you may not have it or it may be worse than the enemy.
And that is why winning in this game brings so much joy to many players.
How the game works:
1. you show up at the warm-up area and wait until there are enough players;
2. you are flying by bus and choosing a drop off point;
3. jumping out of the bus, landing;
4. looking for weapons, killing people near you;
5. you follow to the safe zone, in the course of its displacement and narrowing, killing unwanted fellow travelers and collecting their loot;
6. kill the last person and win.
Fortnite is extremely popular due to its low age rating, but also because there is no violence and gore like in GTA, and all players are projections.
What social engineering techniques does Fortnight use:
There is only one map in Fortnite, but life really happens on it. The map changes every day: shops appear and close, cities appear and disappear, earthquakes occur and artists perform. An example of this is the performance of the popular DJ marshmello, who held 2 virtual concerts on the map in fortnite.
There is an in-game shop in the game, where the assortment of skins (clothing for the hero) changes daily, and some skins may not appear in the store for more than a year, thereby becoming very rare.
Also, rare or new skins are returned to the store almost every day, and it is because of this that the store is checked by players daily so as not to miss cool skins.
The skin can be used to determine when its owner started playing and his financial situation.
Skins in fortnite is a whole culture, there are even those who collect them.
There are players who collect specific skins, and there are those who sell accounts with rare skins. Accounts can cost anywhere from $10 to $10,000, and this is of course illegal, which is why 80% of these sellers are scammers.
skin prices:
-legendary-$20
-rare-$15
-uncommon-$12
-common-$8
0005
Vbucks can be obtained in the battle pass. It costs $10 and you can get $15 at the end of it.
To better understand children, you can try to speak to them in the Fortnite language, for example:
— What did you get two headshots again today?
— Mom, I accidentally…
— Why did you buy an umbrella, a pick and this skin? Did I pay for all this in vain, as you say, «zadanatila»?
— Mom, I won’t do that again…
— You gotta heal on time, either line up in a theme, or play as a team at last!…
— Mom, I just landed in the wrong place.
— You need to collect loot in time, instead of chasing anyone, that’s why I got a headshot. A warrior is also for me …
— [silence] …
— So, wash the dishes for everyone and so on until the new year, if you want to earn a pass.
— Hurrah..
— And 3 days a week you don’t play at all
— Yyy … [in sadness] good mom.
What useful things children can learn playing Fortnite:
Of course, children perceive computer games differently, depending on the talents and strengths of the personality, the child’s attention can be attracted to different aspects of the game:
- It is possible to communicate in English with players from other countries — networking without leaving home;
- The experience of using 2-factor authentication to protect your account is a skill to work safely on the network;
- Study of Fortnite marketing and user retention tactics — for future psychologists and marketers;
- Exploring monetization techniques through the sale of skins and other game items and features — nothing develops a craving for money like a living example of Fortnite;
- Introduction to Fortnite hacking techniques: free addition of skins, cheats — develops PC skills.
- What kind of content (video, blog, tweeter) can be released about the game to become a popular blogger.
- Introducing Discord — a modern messenger, an analogue of Skype, specially designed for players. By the way, Discord is a pass to the world of Team Play in the virtual arena.
- Mastering the skills of a team game is already the way to the Cyber-Sports arena where you can earn money.
- Particularly inquisitive will definitely try to get into the insides of the Game and with the help of such programs as umodel fortnite, hxd hex editor to figure out what files and in what format 3D skin models are stored (by the way, the format is compatible with 3D printers and they can be printed in bulk).
Regarding the Fortnite hack, there are tons of videos on how to get skins for free or play against the rules. To perform such tricks, you need to understand the descriptions, download and configure various programs. All these activities are quite a painstaking task that greatly increases the level of computer proficiency. These programs may contain malicious modules (trojans, botnets) that do not harm the computer, but can cause a lot of trouble, which again increases the child’s ability to overcome problems, to better understand the essence of Anti-Virus and the Windows protection system.
The video shows an example of a live game in team mode (live communication):
How to monitor children online using KidLogger
Initially, you can agree with the children about how much time they will devote to games. Install KidLogger for Windows and you will be able to check how exactly the children comply with this agreement. KidLogger calculates the exact time spent on the game and separately counts the time spent on the Internet or YouTube. KidLogger can automatically send a report to the mail of the Parent and Child at the end of the day. This will prevent speculation as to whether he played a lot or a little during the week. As a result, the child will begin to learn to order himself, and the parent will have weighty arguments.
And you don’t have to watch what the child is doing on the computer. Robots have long learned to do this — for example, kidlogger.net.
What to do if the child is not yet 12 years old and it is too early to play Fortnite?
If your child is only 8 or 10 years old and already plays Fortnite, then you should pay attention to this.
First, he should be told that Computer Games are divided into age categories, depending on the load on the child’s psyche, the presence of scenes of cruelty, etc. You can read about it in detail on the Internet. Secondly, the child should be informed that the Fortnite game is intended for children who are 12 years old, otherwise it causes imperceptible (and insignificant) harm to the child. Therefore, he is already slightly violating the rules that are established in Europe and the USA. When he accepts this information, you can remind him of this and try to agree on a strictly limited time of the game. It is also possible to find alternative games for him and promise that when he turns 11 and a half he will be able to play Fortnite again.
It is also important to understand why he started playing Fortnite so early? maybe his best friend is playing, or an older brother or sister. In this case, you can make small concessions, since an unequal ban will negatively affect the emotional state of the child.
Here you can find KidLogger program news, interesting articles and tips on using our service. New features, recommendations for installing and configuring the application for Windows, Mac, Android.
