How to Join a Minecraft Pocket/Bedrock Edition Server — Knowledgebase

If you would like to join a Minecraft Pocked Edition (Bedrock Edition) server, there are a few things to consider:
- The server must be running any Minecraft Pocket/Bedrock Edition server type.
- Have Minecraft: Pocket Edition installed on a supported platform e.g. Windows 10, Mobile Devices (NOTE: Xbox, PlayStation, and Windows 8.1 devices do not support joining servers via IP).
- Your Minecraft: Pocket Edition application must be the same version that the server runs on. You can find the version on the bottom-right corner of the application.
To get started, you need to identify the address of the server you want to join. If you own a Shockbyte server, you can find your server address on your Multicraft server panel. This will be labeled as Server Address.
In the example above, the server address is 192.168.2.1:12345. Breaking this down, the Server IP is the set of numbers before the : symbol, and after this are the last five numbers which are the Server Port.
HOW TO CONNECT TO YOUR POCKET / BEDROCK EDITION SERVER
Now that you have the server address, you’re ready to join the server by following the steps below:
- On the Minecraft Pocket Edition application, press the Play button.
- Navigate to the Servers tab.
- On the Servers tab, press the Add Server button.
- Enter your Server Name, Server Address, and Port.
- Press Play to quickly join the server. You may also select Save to add the server to the servers list.
You’re done! You can now play on a Minecraft Pocket Edition (Bedrock Edition) server.

Minecraft — das brauchen Sie für Crossplay
Ist es schon etwas länger her, dass Sie Minecraft installiert haben, dann spielen Sie eventuell noch mit der Java-Version. Damit können Sie Minecraft nicht plattformübergreifend spielen. Die Umstellung auf das Crossplay-kompatible System ist aber mit wenigen Klicks erledigt.
- Sie benötigen für das Crossplay die Bedrock Edition. Eventuell müssen Sie also auf Ihrer Spielkonsole, Ihrem Computer oder Ihrem mobilen Endgerät das Bedrock-Update installieren. Aktuelle Downloads von Minecraft zu allen Systemen sollten Sie ebenfalls durchführen.
- Des Weiteren benötigen Sie für Minecraft Crossplay ein Microsoft-Konto. Sofern Sie das noch nicht haben, können Sie jederzeit kostenlos ein Microsoft-Konto erstellen.
Minecraft Crossplay auf PS4, PC, Xbox und Tablet starten
Haben Sie das Bedrock-Update installiert, können Sie auf PS4, Xbox, PC oder Tablet Crossplay starten und somit Minecraft zukünftig plattformübergreifend spielen.
- Starten Sie Minecraft und melden Sie sich mit ihrem Microsoft-Konto an.
- Pausieren Sie das Spiel und wählen Sie «Zum Spiel einladen» und anschließend «Plattformübergreifende Freunde suchen».
- Klicken Sie auf «Freunde hinzufügen». Es wird angezeigt, welche Freunde online sind. Klicken Sie auf «1 Einladung senden», nachdem Sie den entsprechenden Eintrag in der Liste mit einem Häkchen im Kontrollkästchen markiert haben.
- Nehmen Ihre Freunde die Einladung an, können Sie plattformübergreifend mit ihnen Minecraft spielen.
- Damit das klappt, müssen Sie und Ihre Mitspieler die Minecraft Bedrock-Edition installiert haben. Allerdings sind nicht alle Welten in Minecraft plattformübergreifend spielbar.
Crossplay können Sie nur mit der Minecraft Bedrock-Edition spielen.

How to install Minecraft server version 1.15.2 on Windows

This manual is current and tested on Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019.
Minimum system requirements for the server: 2 GB of RAM, 2 cores, for example, as in the Overclocking tariff.
Connecting to the server
To start the installation, connect to the server via RDP.
Disable IE Enhanced Security
For convenience, disable Enhanced Security in Internet Explorer. To do this, in the window Server Manager , which will open immediately after connecting via RDP, go to the tab Local Server .
Then we will find the item about enhanced security settings IE Enhanced Security Configuration .
Let’s go into it and disable the enhanced protection mode.
Installing the Java Runtime Environment on the server
