Wir stellen hier 10 empfehlenswerte Titel vor. Dabei fassen wir das Rollenspielgenre ziemlich weit, daher sind neben Komplexitäts-Schwergewichten wie Divinity: Original Sin auch eher actionreiche Titel wie Magicka 2 oder Warhammer: The End Times — Vermintide in der Auswahl.
Diablo 3
Die Diablo-Reihe besticht seit jeher durch rasantes Tempo und unkomplizierte Spielbarkeit. Daher ist auch Diablo 3 wie geschaffen für einen launigen Koopmodus, mit bis zu drei weiteren Spielern dürfen wir dem Höllenfürsten Diablo und seinen Dämonenknechten die hässlichen Visagen neu ausrichten.
Mit mehreren Spielern gleichen wir die Stärken und Schwächen unserer Heldenklassen besser aus und meistern so auch schwerere Herausforderungen. Divinity: Original Sin
Dieses klassische Oldschool-Rollenspiel bietet uns zu Spielbeginn die Wahl zwischen zwei Helden. Doch wenn wir Divinity: Original Sin im Koopmodus angehen, übernimmt der Mitspieler den anderen Helden. Später im Spiel kommen nochmals zwei Begleiter ins Team, die dann ebenfalls vom Mitspieler gesteuert werden dürfen. Mehr als einen Freund können wir aber nicht ins Spiel einladen, die maximale Spielerzahl von Divinity: Original Sin ist also zwei.
Die Charaktere können wir nach Herzenslust ausbauen und weiterentwickeln. Damit schaffen wir uns eine perfekt aufeinander abgestimmte Gruppe und lösen so auch knifflige Herausforderungen in dem komplexen Rollenspiel-Schwergewicht. Das düstere Action-Rollenspiel Dark Souls 3 ist eigentlich ein Singleplayertitel, in dem unser geschundener Held durch eine verwüste Fantasy-Welt streunt und dabei hammerharte und abgedreht eklige Bosse verdrischt. Und dabei tausend grausige Tode stirbt, denn wie alle Spiele der Serie ist auch Dark Souls 3 brutal schwer.
Doch zum Glück können wir uns über bestimmte Items Hilfe holen und andere Spieler in unsere Welt locken. Diese Mitstreiter werden als bunte Phantome angezeigt und sind eine große Hilfe, wenn der Boss mal wieder zu hart für uns alleine ist und langsam der Frustlevel unerträglich wird. Besonders witzig: Menschliche Mitstreiter können uns auch im PvP-Modus zur Seite stehen, wenn ein hinterlistiger Schurke in unsere Welt eindringen und uns meucheln möchte.

Doch Lara ist ist in The Temple of Osiris nicht alleine, denn bis zu drei weitere Spieler dürfen mitmischen und dann zusätzliche Helden verkörpern, nämlich Laras Konkurrenten Carter Bell sowie die beiden Götter Isis und Horus.
Jeder Charakter hat im Koopmodus eigene Fähigkeiten, während im Solomodus Lara alles alleine kann. Als gut eingespieltes Team macht die Ruinen-Ballerei jedoch gleich noch mehr Spaß, und die Jagd nach Beute und neuen Gegenständen motiviert ungemein. Besonders knifflig: Im Koopmodus lassen sich viele der Rätsel besonders kreativ lösen, beispielsweise indem Göttin Isis eine Schutzkugel erzeugt, die Lara als Sprungbrett dient.
Wenn die Archäologin dann an einer vorher unerreichbaren Stelle angekommen ist, kann sie ihren Greifhaken runterlassen und so Isis nach oben helfen. Das ist um einiges cooler und motivierender, als wenn Lara alles im Alleingang lösen würde.

Gauntlet
Gauntlet ist ein spaßiges und actionreiches Remake des gleichnamigen Urahns aus dem Jahre 1985, der damals zunächst in der Spielhalle auf einem legendären 4-Player-Cabinet und später auf allen gängigen Heimcomputern lief. Und wie früher metzeln wir uns mit drei weiteren Mitspielern durch düstere Fantasy-Dungeons.
Zur Auswahl stehen vier Helden, ein Barbaren-Krieger, ein Zauberer, ein Elfen-Bogenschütze und eine Wikinger-Walküre. Jeder von diesen Heroen hat andere Fertigkeiten und steuert sich auch leicht anders, beispielsweise wirkt der Zauberer Kombos, während der Elf präzise zielen kann.
Während das Spiel im Alleingang nicht großartig motiviert, macht es im Koopmodus gleich viel mehr Spaß. You can also keep birds in an ordinary shed or a chain-link fence, but for maximum comfort, laying hens still need a separate structure. Types of chicken coops, their pros and cons
Before erecting an aviary for chickens, several basic questions should be decided — the planned number of birds, the method and purpose of keeping them. The arrangement of a full-fledged home farm will require significant material costs, and the layout of a large building will be very different from a small cage for 5-10 birds. It is enough for a small number of birds to equip a mini-building with a covered ‘house’ at the rate of 0.3 sq. m per individual and walking area from 0.5 sq.m per individual.
According to the type of construction, it is possible to distinguish covered sheds, street barriers with a canopy, combined buildings, as well as chicken coops-greenhouses.
Sheds
The advantage of sheds is their reliability, durability and complete protection from the weather, which is especially important in winter. However, the construction of such outbuildings is a complex and expensive process that does not always pay off. In this regard, lighter options are popular.
Outdoor awnings
Compact, often portable structures consisting of a lattice fence attached to a wooden or metal frame and a sloping roof. The floor is often absent, so that the birds can graze on the grass. This type of chicken coop is suitable for summer, but in the cold season, birds will have to be relocated to a more enclosed space.
Combined chicken coops with range
The best choice for a small farm. They consist of a «house» where the birds can hide at night or lay their eggs, and a fenced yard. Such a design looks very aesthetically pleasing and will become a colorful decoration of the estate, especially if you keep decorative breeds of chickens there.
Greenhouses
They retain heat well and let the sun’s rays through, which has a positive effect on the health and productivity of laying hens. Under them, you can adapt the existing structures after harvesting the main crop, constructing flooring, feeders, drinkers and nests there. Greenhouses are an economical and practical type of fence for chickens, both for the summer period and for the winter.
Chicken coop construction steps
Each master determines the sequence of actions during the construction of «housing» for poultry individually, based on the characteristics of the site, the selected materials, the type of construction and other factors. But still there is a general list of steps that must be followed for a successful result. As a rule, one cannot do without planning or design, a drawing with approximate dimensions, choosing a place to install a chicken coop, purchasing materials and the construction process itself. The complexity of each stage depends on the chosen type of poultry house, but, given the time and desire, it is quite possible to implement even the most resource-intensive project.
Layout
Includes definition of bird population and building options. Based on these data, calculations of the length, width, height of the future structure are carried out. Thus, the minimum indoor area for 20 individuals should be at least 5-6 sq.m, walking — at least 10 sq.m.
For quantities of 50 pcs. the dimensions increase, respectively, to 15 and 20 sq.m. Nests should be located along a long wall in several tiers, for each of which about 0.35 square meters of space should be left. It is worth noting that chickens prefer to rush in secluded quiet corners, where it is always dry and there is no access for rodents. For free removal of eggs above the nests, you can make an opening lid, as well as arrange a slight slope, along which the products will gently roll into a separate container (egg collector).
Location
The choice of location for the chicken coop greatly affects whether the birds will be comfortable in the new conditions. The site must be dry, protected from the wind, warm and well lit.
The entrance is best oriented to the east or south — the chickens wake up immediately after sunrise and need to stay under the rays of the daylight before dusk. In the sun, birds produce vitamin D, without which they stop laying eggs and can start to get sick.
At lunchtime, when the temperature rises to +30C or more, laying hens prefer to hide in the shade. To do this, they need to provide a heat-resistant canopy or plant some fast-growing vines (grapes, hops, ivy) on the south side.
Construction materials
The choice of materials depends on the type of future construction. So, for a full-fledged barn, brick, foam concrete blocks, stone, wood will do. Less durable buildings can be built from OSB boards, corrugated board, slate, plastic panels, mesh. A very environmentally friendly and inexpensive option is pressed bales of straw, which are placed inside a wooden frame and covered with clay plaster on top.
You can also build a chicken coop with your own hands from ordinary logs, fastening them together with concrete or clay mortar like bricks. As a base and supports, a metal profile, steel pipes, and wooden beams are often used.
Ideal for greenhouse applications, polycarbonate is a translucent material that allows light to pass through, giving the birds the sun they need in a warm indoor environment.
DIY construction process
The construction of a chicken coop usually begins with laying the foundation, which can be tape or pile. The first, as a rule, is formed under monolithic buildings made of brick, concrete or stone. For light wood, metal or plastic structures, posts are enough to hold the frame of the house.
Chicken coop floor
The floor is not always made — in the walking area it is practically not needed, although indoors it can serve as additional protection from the cold. Using boards, plywood or chipboard for flooring is not practical — because of the litter, the wood quickly begins to rot, and it will have to be replaced after a few years.
In stationary chicken coops, it is better to lay out the floor with large ceramic plates, arranging a “warm floor” system under them — this will solve the problem of heating birds in winter. For convenience, a ten-centimeter layer of bedding is poured over the plates — sawdust, chopped straw, dry leaves, hay. As it gets dirty, all this can be composted and replaced with new material.
The soil floor in the poultry house is laid as follows: first, slaked lime is poured for disinfection at the rate of 1 kg / sq.m, and then 8–10 cm of insulation (sawdust, moss peat, chaff, etc.).
Chicken house walls
It is advisable to make them solid so that rodents do not penetrate through them and heat is better preserved. It is preferable to choose an eco-friendly, “breathable” material — this will provide a healthy microclimate in the chicken coop. For this reason, plastic and metal sheathing, as well as insulation from the outside with foam plastic, are not recommended. If the walls do not pass moisture well, dampness, mold and fungus will appear inside, which is extremely bad for the health of the layers.
For ventilation in the upper part of the chicken coop, be sure to make a window or install a ventilation grill. The walking part of the enclosure, as a rule, is fenced with a net. If there is no canopy on top, its height should be more than 150 cm so that the chickens do not fly over the barrier.
Chicken coop roof
Designed to protect against bad weather, wind and predators. It is usually made pitched, the angle of inclination depends on the amount of precipitation in a particular region. The base can be made of wooden or metal sleepers. Almost any roofing material is used as a top coating. If the chicken coop is installed in the sun, you should refrain from excessively heating metal sheets in favor of ceramic or flexible tiles, ondulin, slate.
Warming and care of the chicken coop
Despite the high adaptability of chickens to cold climates, these birds prefer to lay eggs only in comfortable conditions. To do this, they need a temperature of +12 to +25C heat, air humidity at the level of 60–75%, good nutrition and at least a ten-hour daylight hours.
Experienced poultry farmers know that in the autumn-winter period, the room where the chickens are located needs to be additionally highlighted. This means that either electricity must be connected to the closed area of the poultry house, or (more safely) a battery-powered lantern must be installed. Energy-saving LEDs or fluorescent lamps consume kilowatts very economically, so the backlight will not be a blow to the budget. You can also use electricity for heating — in a compact area, a warm floor, a ceramic infrared lamp or a convector located behind the grid will be enough.
If the chicken coop is originally planned for keeping birds in winter, they make a higher flooring in it, and the walls are insulated according to all the rules with mineral wool, polystyrene foam, polyurethane foam, covering this material from the side of the layers with plywood or heat-reflecting foil.
Care of the house consists of regular airing, drying and cleaning of the house. It is better if ventilation is carried out around the clock, except, perhaps, for too frosty periods. In the hot season, it is advisable to free the chicken coop from birds for a while, open the doors, windows, possibly remove part of the roof and arrange drying. This procedure is especially important to do after winter, when a lot of moisture accumulates in the room. Replacement of flooring, wooden poles, ladders and other structures is carried out as they are contaminated with droppings. Biological waste can be composted and then used as fertilizer in the beds.

Lumber is convenient in construction, the small area and light weight of the structure does not oblige to equip and strengthen a reliable foundation. All that is needed for erection is a board, screws, nails and a pair of skillful hands.
But wood also has disadvantages:
- Short service life: wood is susceptible to decay, does not tolerate temperature changes, quickly loses its original performance characteristics;
- The need for regular anti-corrosion and flame retardant treatment: you will have to paint a wooden house for chickens at least once a year, and fire-fighting treatment with special compositions will also not be superfluous.
In addition, chickens can only be kept in an uninsulated wooden shed in summer. If poultry breeding is planned year-round, then options for building a warm or winter chicken coop should be considered.
