To coincide with its grand opening, Rockstar has announced a new rewards initiative for GTA Online entitled “The Diamond Program,” which will provide players with an enriched VIP Membership that offers an assortment of perks and rewards that can be unlocked by simply playing the game and engaging within associated activities.
Becoming a loyal member of The Diamond Program will require you to own a Master Penthouse and completing the cooperative missions and some odd jobs associated with The Diamond Casino & Resort – all before Wednesday, August 7th. Full details of how to make the most of your membership is outlined below.
Silver Status – The Master Penthouse
Become a Silver Status member of The Diamond Program by acquiring a Master Penthouse – free with Twitch Prime membership. In addition to the VIP Membership that comes as standard, Silver Status members will also receive the exclusive “She’s Loaded” Wall Art – a modern piece of artwork that can be hung on the wall of your choice using the Penthouse’s Decorations Management feature.
There’s also the slick Diamond Classic Tee, awarded to all Silver Status members as an additional bonus.
Gold Status – The Diamond Family
Silver Status members who endeavour to help Tao Cheng protect The Diamond from a corrupt family of Texan magnates can increase their worth and value to this prestigious establishment by completing the second of new cooperative missions being introduced with The Diamond Casino & Resort. Rockstar Games says that all the above rewards associated with The Diamond Program will be granted between August 8th – 13th. Everyone will have until Wednesday, August 7th to work their way towards Diamond Status. Those who have claimed their Social Club x Twitch Prime Benefits will immediately find themselves at the Silver Status with their free Master Penthouse.
Meanwhile, players who have completed their sign-up for Social Club x Twitch Prime but aren’t seeing the Master Penthouse listed for free once the update rolls out can purchase it and receive a rebate for the price of the base Master Penthouse within 48 hours. Otherwise, the price should be shown as free for all active Twitch Prime members in good standing as of July 28th on August 1st, Rockstar notes, so long as their subscription remains active.
