Die “Xbox” wurde 2001 in den USA und veröffentlicht. Die Start-Titel zum Xbox Release waren Halo, Amped, Dead or Alive 3, Project Gotham Racing und das bekannte Oddworld. Bei der Xbox 360 (2005), dem Nachfolger der ersten Xbox waren es bereits 18 Titel, die zum Verkaufsstart angeboten wurden. In Europa waren es 15. Call of Duty 2 verkaufte sich dabei International am besten. Die Xbox One ist der Nachfolger der Xbox 360. Zum Verkaufsstart gab es bereits zahlreiche Spiele, darunter bekannte Titel wie Battlefield 4 und FIFA 14.
Insgesamt waren 21 Spiele beim Xbox One Release verfügbar.
Die Xbox One wurde von Microsoft entwickelt und am 31. Mai 2013 vorgestellt, daher wird dieses Datum als das Xbox One Erscheinungsdatum verwendet. Am 13. Juni 2016 gab es ein weiteres Xbox One Release, es wurde die schmalere Version die „Xbox One S“ von Microsoft auf der E3 vorgestellt.
