History constantly forced him to make difficult decisions, to make sacrifices, to balance between the interests of the powerful and personal motives.

Until recently, only owners of personal computers could feel the merits of this wonderful role-playing game. Fortunately, the authors eventually decided to go to conquer the console audience. Whether the grey-haired monster slayer will visit the PS3 is unknown. But the owners of the Xbox 360 got at their disposal not just a port of the original a year ago, but an «Extended Edition» with many improvements and improvements. For PC owners, don’t worry. However, not everything is smooth with the inventory interface and other menu sections. The authors limited themselves to only minor cosmetic changes, for example, they moved the locations of some icons. Menu navigation is organized sensibly, without excessive sophistication. Although sometimes you have to hammer on the buttons for a long time before you get to the desired item or subsection. You can get used to this. What can not be said about the font. Although the size of the letters has been increased, it can still be difficult to make out the text of the task or the description of the equipment from a distance. The authors also had to make other compromises. For example, in some locations there are noticeably fewer extra characters. Downloads happen more often. They sacrificed effects and extras in those places that the player pays the least attention to. Moreover, the emphasis shifts depending on the conditions. Each location and each episode has an individual approach. As a result, the picture leaves a positive impression, and the frame rate does not sag in the most difficult scenes.

It is worth noting that the version for the Xbox 360 is located on two DVDs. It is recommended to install to a hard drive to speed up downloads.

Additional materials make themselves felt immediately after the launch of the game. For starters, a superb CG cutscene introduces the main antagonist. Before the start of the trip, they offer an optional training session. A separate level has nothing to do with the main plot, but allows you to get comfortable with the intricacies of game mechanics. Previously forced to rely solely on tooltips.

Also, the «Extended Edition» contains new videos and scripted scenes that perfectly complement the already rich and detailed narrative.
