VR-Brille-Test: Testergebnisse
VR-Brille-Testsieger: HTC Vive Cosmos Elite

Was ist so faszinierend an Virtual Reality?

Für Half-Life: Alyx nennt Entwickler Valve folgende PC-Mindestanforderungen:
- Windows 10
- Intel Core i5-7500 oder AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- 12 GB RAM
- Geforce GTX 1060 AMD Radeon RX 580

VR-Brille Vergleich: Unsere Empfehlung
Was genau ist Motion Sickness?

Tipp: Sie spielen lieber klassisch ohne VR-Brille?

Nikon D850 Camera Test | NikonPro: Nikon
Photographers
My first test of the new camera took place in «extreme» conditions: I went to St. Petersburg for a tennis tournament, which was held in a new hall with very bad lighting from the point of view of shooting. I confess, there was no time for experiments, I just tried to film the competition. Imagine: the site is illuminated by LED lights with a very hard light, terrible “glasses” under the eyes of the athletes, as soon as the athlete lowers his head, his face is not visible. In the Picture Control settings, I even turned down the contrast to soften those deep shadows a little. nine0003

When shooting tennis, I usually set the shutter speed to no longer than 1/1000, because otherwise a blur will appear in the frame: neither the ball nor the racket will be visible. With a sensitivity below 4000 ISO, it was impossible to shoot in those conditions, so I had to work in the range of values \u200b\u200bfrom 4000 to 12800. And you know, the camera did an excellent job! My primary lenses were the classic AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2. 8E FL ED VR and AF-S NIKKOR 200-400mm f/4G ED VR II sports zooms, plus I traditionally used my favorite 1.4 converter. nine0003

Nikon D850 really has many strengths. First, it is a matrix with a high resolution of 45.4 million pixels. The next day in Moscow, I went to shoot handball. In the hall, with a sensitivity of 2000 ISO, everything went great: no hint of noise, excellent image quality, I was very pleased with the result. Thanks to the matrix, you can safely crop 1/4 of the frame without losing sharpness and image quality! A little later, when I was carefully reviewing the footage, the camera surprised me with exceptional detail. The camera is really chic, with amazing dynamic range: all the details are well worked out even in the shadows. nine0003
I pay a lot of attention to light sensitivity, because the ability to get a good picture at high ISO values is extremely important for sports.
In the new camera, the noise is almost the same as on the flagship D5: you can shoot sports at ISO values up to 5000 without any problems, and even at 6400 the frame is of good quality.

The second most important aspect of sports photography is autofocus. It must work correctly so that the photographer does not miss an important frame. As a rule, I use autofocus on a group of points or 9-point. And in the Nikon D850 it’s just brilliant, almost like the «five» — fast, tenacious and accurate. From all the shootings, I have 98% of the frames in focus, the other two percent are my own mistakes. Moreover, the more I shot, the more I was amazed: autofocus worked perfectly not only in the longitudinal plane, but also when the object was quickly approaching me — for example, an athlete was running at me. Photographers who shoot sports events know that, as a rule, cameras in such situations are often mistaken. But not the D850! nine0003

A few weeks later I had a chance to test the D850 at the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament. Again, my two favorite lenses, a converter and the following parameters: 4000 ISO, shutter speed 1/1250 (sometimes a little longer in dark corners — 1/1000) and at the maximum aperture. Autofocus worked almost perfectly, the image is very good. In general, the impression of the camera is pleasant. Burst speed increased: D850 can «shoot» at speeds up to 9frames per second, but I don’t shoot such series: everyone knows my love for deliberate shots. Although, of course, the opportunity to take a good series of shots is sometimes needed — for example, when you shoot a very intense performance in figure skating.
Another great feature is the silent shooting mode (marked with a Q), which can be useful in situations where the photographer doesn’t need to draw attention to himself by actuating the shutter, such as in a theater. I tried shooting in this mode, and I really liked it — it’s a pity I don’t need to shoot in theaters. nine0003

Nikon finally did what I had been dreaming about for so long — a swivel display. While I was testing the new camera, I didn’t have a shoot where it would be useful, however, I run into this problem quite often on my D5: when you need to set a low angle shot from the transmitter. In my lectures, I often show a shot with Bob Martin, a Sport Illustrated photographer (who weighs under 150 kg), lying on his stomach, he is trying to build the right plan in the camera’s viewfinder. It’s terribly inconvenient! So sports photographers will certainly appreciate the rotary display. It’s a pity that the D5 does not have such a display. nine0003

My second camera is the Nikon D810, and so, the novelty copes much better than its predecessor in terms of shooting speed, autofocus, image quality, and, most importantly, the amount of noise. I am sure that soon my second camera will be the D850. It’s just a tiny bit behind the flagship D5: it’s a big step forward for Nikon, and I’m sure the camera will be in great demand, it works great in all conditions and in any shooting direction, be it sports, studio portrait or landscape. nine0003
Micro NIKKOR 85mm f/3.5G VR Lens Test/Review
I’m in an interesting situation right now! Tested the Nikkor 85 / 3.5 lens
I thought about what to write, and realized that my opinion of him was constantly changing. So step by step…
When I read the announcement of the Nikkor 85 / 3.5 lens, it puzzled me — «Why is it?» Why aperture is only F3.5? After all, I’m used to seeing on modern primes (lenses with a constant focal length, not zooms) aperture not lower than F1.8, which theoretically gives a certain flexibility in operation and confident autofocus in poorly lit places. Then I thought — well, it’s macro, therefore, no one will use an aperture of less than 8 . .. And why is the front lens of such a small diameter? Kinda weird! And then I just forgot about it…
nine0003
Then, on the eve of the New Year and, it seems, the vacation period (I personally didn’t have a vacation this winter …), when I agreed to take the Nikkor 10-24 lens for a second test, which I had already taken, but had to return, so I didn’t test it because of the completely gray Moscow weather in real, that is, street conditions, I thought that two lenses for two or three weeks would be more interesting …
And I remembered a recent novelty.
I spoke with Vladimir Volkov from Nikon’s representative office in Russia, he confirmed that this lens is not on hand at this time, and so I ask you to reserve it. Before signing on paper, I habitually pick up a fairly large lens in order to remove the covers and check if it’s intact, I feel an unusual lightness, “plasticity” … Well, it’s light for my size … I’m taking it home with the right mood , rejoicing at the solidity and weightiness of the second lens, wide-angle 10-24.
nine0003
Well, it’s time for the test. Putting my camera, Nikon D90, on a tripod, I take the first series of shots on the first complex and boring subject that comes up. Such was the decorated Christmas tree with «birds» sitting on it and with real cones (let me remind you that each photo is a button, by clicking on which you can view the photo in large).
I set the apertures according to the habit I’m used to in such situations, taking macro shots earlier — 3.8 (I couldn’t get smaller at this distance to the object, about half a meter), 5.6, 6.3, 8, 9and 10. I take out the card and go to see what I got. I find a very clean picture, despite the brilliant object, the elaboration of the smallest details (the hairs on the head of the «bird» and very good depth of field for macro.
Hmmm, loved it!
I note that all macro photos were subjected to the standard sharp 100 — (3-5) in Capture NX during refinement, since sharp is disabled in my camera.
I go to the camera, choose by eye the very minimum distance at which the lens is still focused, and make the second series:
nine0003
I measured this very minimum distance — it turned out to be about 29 cm. I looked at the passport — it is 28.6! And I will comment for those who do not shoot with DSLRs — the distance is measured not from the front lens, but from the matrix of the device. When you are «soared» that a macro is filmed from 1 centimeter — you are blatantly deceived :o)) Well, this is approximately from the same series as a pocket camera with 12 megapixels is much cooler than a camera with 6! Although in fact it is quite the opposite, if the matrices are of the same generation: o))
When shooting the bumps, I didn’t stand on ceremony with diaphragms, I drove exactly as much as I could. At this distance to the object, the maximum open was 4.8, and the most closed — 40.
nine0003
Here are the following values in order: 4.8, 5.6, 8, 11, 13, 20, 25, 32 and 40.
The cone itself has a diameter of 2 centimeters, so even on previews, reduced by 25.7 times, it looks larger than in real life. This is so, for orientation in the capabilities of the lens.
Let’s take a look at the footage. It is clearly seen that, as the relative aperture in the lens decreases (or the digital value of the denominator in the fraction increases — after all, in reality it is 1/4.8, 1/5.6, 1/8, 1/11, 1/13, 1/20, 1 /25, 1/32 and 1/40) the depth of field is growing very fast. Already on the fifth frame, where the aperture is 1/13, the bump can be seen almost entirely, and on 1/40 — almost all of it is sharp! But here other pitfalls appear — already at 1/32, a clearly visible blurring begins due to the diffraction of light waves. Since the previous pictures are shown with a strong crop and have been sharpened, for those who want to experiment on their own, I give the opportunity to look at the completely unprocessed crop of the same bump (that is, the cut parts from the center of the frame):
nine0003
It seemed to me that at the minimum distance, the working range of apertures, when the depth of field is large and there is still no blurring, it turns out somewhere from 1/13 to 1/25, depending on what and how the photographer needs to shoot. Values above 1/25 are also working, if then the photos are resized, that is, reduced — in this situation, the depth of field is maximum, the smallest details are visible, like hairs on the scales, which at 1/25 are just beginning to appear. And I note that I did not use any additional macro lighting, everything went naturally — the Christmas tree just stood on the windowsill and was illuminated the way it was illuminated. I think a well-exposed macro light will give even more detail and freedom of action.

For those who want to see the macro capabilities of the Nikkor 85 / 3.5 lens further — read the article to the end, there are two more series of frames — a glare object at a minimum distance and shooting at a distance of about 90 centimeters — it was interesting to see what kind of depth of field is obtained already with normal subject shooting .
And we will move on to portraits — after all, there is an opinion that macro lenses are often part-time and very interesting portrait photographers.
I agree with a nice girl, we go to the most successful place in Moscow for portrait shooting, if there is no own studio — to the third floor of GUM. And we get this:

All Katya’s shots were shot at aperture 3.5 and at a distance of about 2 — 3 meters. If you look closely — the depth of field is small in places! No more than 2-3 centimeters! That is, the diaphragm could still be closed! (hello to the myths about the mandatory aperture ratio of 1.4: o)))

Accordingly, seeing all this on the screen, when I began to shoot Katya with her friend, I decided to close the aperture, being sure that if one person does not work out with a sharp guarantee, then two will definitely be basically out of focus. The first frame is at 3.5, the second at 5.6, and the third at 7.1. Let’s see the difference!
Anna’s portraits were shot again at aperture 3.5, because when working with one person, besides posing, it seemed to me that it would be better. And I didn’t seem to be wrong!

To be honest, from a technical point of view, I have never had such an easy portrait session in GUM. Refinement of frames was minimal — a small exposure compensation, and that’s it! Sharpe almost never had to be used — no more than half of all frames. And the sharp is literally cosmetic — 50 — 1 in Capture NX.
I was asked to shoot with this lens in dark rooms — it was not possible. I had just tuned in in one church, while preparations were underway for the beautiful Christmas Liturgy, when just before the service, the deacon comes out and asks to completely refrain from shooting with flashes! And when setting it up, I clearly saw that if you shoot «as is» — it will be completely uninteresting — both the frames are gloomy, and there is a lot of movement due to the fault of those you shoot — Vibration Reduction (vibration suppression) on the lens works perfectly, that is, my movements are extinguished «on times», but, since shutter speeds are obtained in the intervals of 1/10 — 1/30 at ISO 1600, blur due to the movement of the already filmed is guaranteed. He removed the camera, regretting what he did not do, and took part in the liturgy, which he is already completely happy with
But, remembering the request, I shot several shots in the same GUM, but already on a very dimly lit second floor:
We see well-designed lace on the surface of the ball and quite tolerant portraits, where the skintones are well extended by the same Capture NX (the skin color turned yellow due to the explosive combination of several types of lamps and daylight from the glass ceiling). But I already had to work, albeit for a very short time — after all, you won’t get a photograph, that is, light painting, without good light
And pay attention to all the backgrounds — the bokeh of the Nikkor 85 / 3.5 lens is very good, although without any frills. 9 rounded aperture blades give a clean and soft picture, which personally suits me perfectly. And it is clear how to control the background. And no «nuts» on luminous objects, like on Nikkor 85 / 1. 8, which is in the same price category, and also non-motorized (of little use on younger cameras D40, D60, D3000, D5000) and without VRII, which is very useful.

As confirmed by the series of shots below — shooting into the distance. I have a long-term test object — a house located 120-150 meters from my window, and covered with tiles 2.5 centimeters in size. It is impossible to remove it from the tripod from the window — you have to stick out a little, Nikkor 85 / 1.8 showed just a smooth surface there. But Nikkor 85 / 3.5 issued the following:
In full frame, you can see that the edges are worked out quite well, and the center is shown on the crop below. Apertures from left to right: 8, 11, 16, 20.
nine0003
It is clearly seen that the cleanest picture is at aperture 8, then blurring due to diffraction slowly begins. And one more thing — here I used a weak sharp to emphasize the presence of this small tile — about the size of a five-ruble coin!
And to show how the lens works already without sharp — see the series below.
Here the tiles are larger, and crops are shown «as is», without any modification.
I’m not sure that people will massively shoot landscapes with a Nikkor 85 / 3.5 lens, but the illustration of its sharpness is quite sufficient, it seems to me :o))

Well, the additional macro shots promised above.
The first is a glare object at a distance of about 29 centimeters. I note that at such a distance, the diagram changes in the range of 4.8 — 40. And somewhere from 90 centimeters and further at any — from 3.5 to 32.
Consistently, the apertures changed in this order: 4.8, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40. The comments are completely the same as those given for shots with a bump — the working macro range at the minimum distance starts somewhere around 13 And I will note the clean work with bright and glare surfaces — I did not see any extra blurs at the edges of the glare.

Next is the same bird, whose tail was just looked at, but already from a distance where we managed to get an aperture of 3.
