Unravel 2 koop: Optimus — Unravel Two (Xbox One) Co-Op Information

Unravel Two | Couch Co-Op Favorites

Unravel Two | Couch Co-Op Favorites

Guide two wool figures through a miniature world and use an elastic thread to solve puzzles.

Unlike its predecessor, “Unravel Two” is a true coop adventure. Together with another person, you take control of two friendly creatures made of wool, which are connected by a long thread. Together and by jumping over obstacles you move through lovely worlds full of obstacles. The 7 levels in “Uravel Two” take you past the dangerous tides of a waterfall, across slippery lilies in a pond, and through a blazing barn.

The pacing is pleasant most of the time, with only a few sections requiring you to act fast. The difficulty level always feels fair, mainly due to the precise controls and the checkpoints that are generously distributed throughout the different levels. If you need some additional challenges, the game offers 20 short bonus levels, which require a lot more skillful moves.

“Unravel Two” does not offer an extensive background story. Instead, the game has detailed environments and lovingly crafted animations, which create a cheerful and sometimes slightly melancholic atmosphere. «Unravel Two» is a fantastic coop adventure for two people who want to spend a nice evening together.

Why you should play it:

  1. The gorgeous art style creates a pleasant and cozy atmosphere.
  2. Well designed platforming sequences with a moderate level of difficulty.
  3. Great coop adventure with about 5 hours of gameplay and some additional challenges.

About us

Great couch co-op games are hard to find? Not anymore!

We love couch co-op games. Nothing beats the joy of sitting in the same room, playing some fun games and experiencing the reactions of your friends first hand—especially during a pandemic, when you’re more often at home with your partner, family members or roommates. Sure, online multiplayer modes can be fun, too, but couch co-op has always been the best type of multiplayer games for us.

If you are like us, you play local multiplayer games on a regular basis, either with your kids or your friends. Every platform has some couch co-op classics, like “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” and “Super Mario Party” on Nintendo Switch or “Sackboy: A Big Adventure” on PS5. While these couch co-op games can be played over and over again, you may want to try something new from time to time. So, where do you find interesting, new titles? Sometimes you get great recommendations from friends, but most of the time you need to do your own research.

Most game stores like Steam, PlayStation/Microsoft Store or Nintendo eShop offer categories for local multiplayer games. However, they either feature just a handful of new games or list thousands of entries. Websites for couch co-op games do exist, but they try to list them all, even the not-so-good ones. Gaming related blogs and magazines write about couch co-op games from time to time, but it’s not their main subject. You probably don’t want to search on the internet for hours and hunt for hidden gems. You want to find great, new games without the hassle. That’s why we’ve came up with the idea for Couch Co-Op Favorites.

We create lists with handpicked couch co-op games—filterable by platform, player number and relevant features. On this website you can quickly find new games which have been tested by people like you. Save time on researching, spend more time with friends and family.

We are two people who love couch co-op games

We are Tabea und Patrick, both in our mid-20s and from Northern Germany. We have a deep passion for couch co-op games and did a lot of research on the subject in our student days. We don’t know all titles, but we certainly know a lot of excellent games for different platforms and audiences. We regularly play games, but we still identify as casual gamers. We believe that not every gaming related site needs to look like it has been made for stereotypical gamers. That’s why we’ve decided to and make this site look friendly and approchable.

Our mission is simple: We want to bring joy to people looking for good couch co-op games and we want to support indie developers, too.

We personally test every game

All games listed here are handpicked by us. We’re not paid by developers to feature their games. Developers may send us their games for free, but this doesn’t influence our opinon about these games. If we list a game, we genuinely like it. It’s that simple. No ads, no affiliate links, just good games.

Are you working on a couch co-op game?

If you’re working on a couch co-op game, feel free to send us a short email with a link to your press kit and a few codes. To be able to test a game properly, we use multiple platforms (PC and at least one console, if possible). Currently, we prefer to test on Steam (Windows/Ubuntu) and on Nintendo Switch (EU/Germany). Please understand that we cannot publish a review for every game. As our time is limited, we are unable to test any betas or games in “Early Access”. Additionally, we priotize games which are available on multiple platforms (not Steam only).

If you’re not sure wether your game is “good enough” or if you haven’t been feeling very confident lately, please consider reaching out anyway. We are regular people, just like you, and we try to answer every email!

Know a great game or found a typo?

Regardless of whether you’re an (indie) game developer or a fan of couch co-op games, we’d be happy to hear from you. Feel free to send us an email or start a conversation on Twitter! 😊 🎮

How to unravel the chain at home — Useful materials on the corporate website «Russian Gems»

About jewelry

It’s amazing how easy it is to tie knots on chains — as if by magic! But unraveling such knots is difficult, and sometimes scary: the links of some jewelry look so fragile. And if the chain is not only thin, but also long, then the level of complexity increases significantly! Therefore, today we tell you how you can unravel the chain at home. Simple, fast and safe.

We recommend working with the tangled chain on a flat and hard surface to ensure stability. A table or window sill will do. Keeping the jewelry hanging while trying to untie the knot is not very convenient — gravity pulls the chain down.

How to untangle the chain at home using improvised means

Make sure that the area where you will unravel the knot is well lit. If possible, sit on a white or black surface — against a contrasting background, tangled places are more clearly visible.

Method 1. Like a balloon.

This is one of the most effective ways to untie a chain of knots of varying complexity. Take the knot between your thumb and forefinger and gently begin to roll it out like a ball. Take your time, do not put pressure on the knot, the movements should be soft. Gradually, the knot will begin to weaken and it will become possible to unravel it even with your fingers. If the chain is very thin and you are afraid to pull it with your fingers, pry off the loops of the loose knot with a match or a toothpick.

Method 2. Like clockwork.

You will need ordinary vegetable oil — grease the formed knot so that each link is well oiled. As a result, the links will no longer cling strongly to each other and begin to slide, it will be easier to pry off the loops of the knot and unravel the chain. Roll out the oiled knot like a ball, if necessary, use a match to unwind the silver chain. Important: when you complete the procedure, be sure to degrease the jewelry (for example, with a detergent).

Method 3. With baby powder.

Baby powder may well replace oil — powder the “difficult” parts of the product with powder and begin to carefully unravel the chain, untwisting the knot with your fingers. The baby powder reduces the friction between the links, so the knot loosens up. The main thing — do not rush!

Method 4. With needles.

You will need a pair of needles, pins, toothpicks or pointed matches. You can even use a pushpin if nothing else is available. Insert the sharp tips of the needles inside the tangled area and begin to gently push them apart to loosen the knot. When there is free space inside the knot, start prying off the loops and loosen the clamp even more. Gradually stretch and straighten the gold chain.

Tip: Use toothpicks and matches, as metal needles can inadvertently damage the jewelry.

Method 5. With a screwdriver.

This method requires a work surface that you don’t mind scratching. It is possible to work with the chain on a table or window sill, but then you will need a protective lining, such as a sheet of plastic or a hard box. Lay the product on the surface, insert the sharp end of the screwdriver into the center of the assembly. Press the screwdriver against the surface and begin to swing it in different directions to loosen the knot. When the loops begin to loosen, untie the chain with your fingers.

Method 6. With glass cleaner.

The glass cleaner will act as a lubricant: the friction between the links will decrease and they will slide more easily. You can carefully unravel the chain with your fingers, or you can put it in a small container and put it on a running washing machine. Under the action of vibration, the loops of the knot will weaken and it will be easier to unravel the jewelry.

What to do if several chains are confused with each other

  • Undo the clasps on all chains. This is necessary so that their ends can slip through the tangled areas.
  • Lay the products on a flat surface and straighten them to find any tangles.
  • Apply vegetable or baby cosmetic oil to the nodules, lubricate the tangled areas well.
  • Start rolling out the knots as described in the ball method. If the knots do not lend themselves well, pry the loops with pointed matches.

Important: Be careful when using metal needles or pins to untangle the knots — there is a risk of damaging the jewelry.

  • When the loops loosen, carefully untie the knots, letting the ends of the chains slip through. Gradually separate the jewelry from each other.
  • Degrease the articles by washing them in a mild soapy solution (baby soap or dish detergent will do). After that, be sure to rinse in clean water and dry thoroughly.

How to prevent the appearance of knots

To prevent knots from forming on the chains, store them in a suspended state — on special stands-trees. If there is no such stand, you can make some kind of straw cases for chains. Just thread the jewelry through the straw and zip it up. For chains with fixed pendants, you will have to cut the straw in two — you get two cases on both sides of the pendant.

Instructions: How to untangle anchor chains

INSTRUCTIONS

In the «Instructions» section, we regularly publish small useful notes for those who are fond of yachting and sailing enough to be interested in trifles. We have already posted a collection of tips for captains on the Canary Islands, studied how to properly take over a yacht, and figured out autogay, unpopular gear for working with a spinnaker. Today we will raise another important question — how to unravel the anchor chains.

Maria Mamaeva

Captain Wind Power

No special knowledge is needed to tangle the anchor chains. The popular anchorage and the changing wind will suffice for this. The yachts arrive at different times and lay the chains in different directions, often on top of other chains, and when they leave, confusion begins. Let’s figure out what to do with it.

The best way to untangle anchor chains is to do nothing. Usually in the morning all boats leave in the reverse order of arrival, so just wait for your turn.

If you can’t wait, let the other boat know you’re leaving. Maritime etiquette does not allow yachtsmen to quietly watch you get ready to sail if their chain is on top of yours. Usually the other boat partially selects its chain, pulls up and releases yours.

The fun begins when there is no one on the other yacht, and you need to get out urgently.

The anchor is designed in such a way that in any case it will hook someone else’s chain if it lies on top. When your anchor appears out of the water, you will see someone else’s chain on it. Now the task comes down to how to remove this chain from the anchor.

We raise someone else’s chain with our anchor. As long as the anchor is in the water, this is quite easy to do.

When the anchor and chain are out of the water, we tie a rope to someone else’s chain.

Attach the other end of the rope to your bow cleat.

We poison our chain. Someone else’s chain is no longer hanging on the anchor, but on a rope.

We raise the released anchor on board.

We untie the rope, let go of someone else’s chain.

With someone else’s chain you pull the yacht itself. Be careful, have a fender ready just in case. As soon as you drop the chain, the yacht will move back.

Special tools are available to make the task easier. For example, a hook with which you can pick up someone else’s chain. This makes the job a little easier, but does not change the essence.

Another case is if the anchor is caught on rocks or coral reefs. If the anchor is stuck in some gap or caught on something, all attempts to raise it will only aggravate the situation. When tensioning the anchor chain, the direction of its movement will be just inside the trap. Our goal is to pull the anchor in the other direction.

A good solution to the problem is a buoy. The only pity is that now few people use it. The buoy must be anchored in advance, but not on the eye where the chain is attached, but on the opposite side. If you pull on it, the anchor can be pulled out of the gap into which it fell. You can pull the anchor behind the buoy both from the yacht and from the dinghy.

We approach the tomb buoy on the yacht, choosing the slack in the anchor chain.

Raise the buoy on board.

Attach the other end of the rope to your bow cleat.

We poison our chain. Someone else’s chain hangs no longer at anchor, but on a rope.

We raise the released anchor on board.

Without a buoy, this is a little more difficult. In this case, it is useless to continue pulling the anchor in the same direction — we need to try to pull it in the opposite direction by the anchor chain.

We bring the yacht to the place where the anchor lies, taking out the slack in the anchor chain. When the yacht is above the anchor, the chain goes vertically down.

We are trying to pull the anchor out of the hook in different directions. If it doesn’t work the first time, change the angle.

Sometimes you can find advice in such a case to make a buoy in the process, when the anchor is already stuck.

We approach the anchor, choosing the chain. We rise above the anchor. The chain goes vertically down.

We draw a ring around the anchor chain — also from a chain that can be stored in lockers. The chain in this case is needed because the ring must be heavy enough to sink.

A ring tied to a rope falls down the chain to the very end of the anchor.

Loosen the anchor chain, let both the chain and the anchor lie on the bottom.

We pull out the anchor by the rope going to the ring, as is the case with the tomb buoy.

To us, however, this option does not seem very viable. Firstly, it is not clear where to find such a piece of chain, and secondly, and more importantly, if the anchor is caught on a stone or snag, most likely it is in a certain position, so it will not be possible to lift it vertically. If our system does not work in the right direction, it will become useless.

However, this may work if the anchor is caught on a rope or chain stretched out on the bottom. Then he will really be able to stand in a vertical position, in which the ring from the chain will fall in the right place.

Another option to make a buoy in progress is to dive in and tie it to the opposite end of the anchor.

Despite all attempts, it happens that it is still not possible to pull out a hooked anchor. Either he got stuck too hard, or in trying to get him, we only aggravated the situation.

A good way to find out what really happened is to dive in and see. In the warm summer Mediterranean, with a shallow depth, there will be no end to those who want to swim, but somewhere in the north this is a rather difficult task.

Sometimes, having seen what is happening at the bottom, it is easier to understand what exactly needs to be done. Some even managed to go underwater with tools and unhook the tangled chain from the anchor. Yes, even then, and rise to the surface with this anchor, but such craftsmen can not be found in any team.

If you understand that you cannot cope without outside help, you will have to leave the anchor at the bottom, disconnecting the anchor chain from the yacht. Mark the spot by tying a bottle or fender to the chain so you can find your anchor later.
