Two new factions: «Underground Duchy» (as the moles call themselves) and «Raven Covenant» are significantly different from each other.

Crows are very vaguely reminiscent of the Forest Union. They try to solve their problems with cunning and terror, laying out intrigue tokens and gaining victory points by revealing these tokens on the next turn. They move freely and easily appear in any corner of the forest, as they ignore the main requirement of movement — from or to a controlled clearing. Of course, on their turn, opponents can try to open intrigue tokens in order to deprive the crows of an advantage, but that’s what they are for intrigues: it’s far from always possible to do this, and for every unsuccessful attempt, you have to give the player a card from your hand for the Crow Conspiracy. In general, this faction is great for those who prefer to anticipate the actions of opponents, control the situation and always have a backup plan.

On the lake game board, you can once per turn transport your troops across the lake in the middle of the forest using a raft, receiving an additional card for such transportation. Of particular pleasure is the opportunity to steal this raft right from under the noses of opponents, sail away on it to a distant clearing, and at the same time get a map! Well, the process of transporting your little animals on a raft looks very nice.
There are gravel path markers on the mountain board. These paths cannot be used for movement, but on your turn you may discard a card from your hand to remove the filled path marker from the game and score one victory point. There is a clearing with a tower in the center of the playing field, and if you rule this clearing, you will receive one victory point at the end of your turn.
