Chapter 7 information
This chapter is divided into several parts. In its primary stage, Nate will have to sneak a lot, due to the fact that he lacks any firearms. Further on, staying in the shadow will be optional. On the other hand, the final part is a sequence of battles that you can’t avoid, and it will begin in a large ballroom. There are no secrets to be found during this stage, so you may focus strictly on eliminating your enemies.
Escaping the manor — part one
Perform a far jump
In the primary stage of the chapter, our hero has no weapons, and thus his only chance to survive is to remain unnoticed. If you get spotted, the mission won’t end automatically, but your only means of eliminating your enemies will be close combat. Run along a linear path. Once you reach the end, jump over a low wall and perform a long jump towards the nearby tower. At this very moment, opponents will appear in the area. They are very visible, due to their flashlights (stay away from illuminated places).
You can pull down your first opponent or just avoid him
Don’t try to get inside the small tower, but rather remain in a hanging position and keep moving to the left.
Hold on to higher edges and reach the bigger tower. Here, one of the guards will stop directly above Nate. You can avoid him, or pull him down. Regardless of your decision, go around the tower from the left.
Once Nate gets above a small but solid shelf, pull yourself down. Draw attention to the highest nearby tower with another guard. Wait for him to go left, and all the other enemies with flashlights in this area turn away from you. Get to the high tower and use encountered shelves to move left. Your objective is to reach the pole presented in the screenshot.
Walk across the empty building and get to its back
Reach the pole but take your time before you perform the jump (the nearby building is illuminated by a watchman situated right above our hero). Study his path and jump right after he turns his flashlight away from the position that you want to reach. Once you are inside the new building, take cover behind the curtain quickly. Make your way to the other side of the room but don’t lean out.
Once you get there, jump through one of the two window frames or enter the balcony.
Move left but don’t climb the roof too early
Move slightly to the left and jump on the roof. Approach the edge, pull yourself down, and only then move left. On your way, jump on a higher roof, but don’t try to climb it too early (Nate would be spotted by his foes). Perform the action no sooner than before you reach the building on the left. Climb up the wall, get to one of the window frames and move left. This way you will avoid the first group of opponents and get to another location.
Use long grass to your advantage and eliminate two more opponents
You will end up in a yard with long grass. Use it to avoid you enemies; you will remain undetected, as long as you stay in one place or one of the guards gets too close to Nate. Wait till one of the enemies moves towards you and press Square at the right moment (you will take down your opponent quietly). Move slightly forward, wait for the other opponent and repeat the maneuver.
Remember — if you get spotted too early, run up to your foe and begin standard close combat. This will prevent him from using a firearm.
You can move forward. Follow a linear path and stop when you notice two opponents on your left, in the distance. Let them search the area, meet with other thugs and leave the location. You can continue your journey. Climb the roof of a building on the right, and turn left and locate a ballroom in the distance, which is your objective. Find the window frame presented in the screenshot and use it to reach a large office.
Meeting Nadine Ross
Choose your dialogue option
While trying to get inside the office, Nathan will run into Nadine Ross, and after a short conversation they will engage in close combat. The key thing is that you can’t win this fight, so don’t get frustrated if Nate’s strikes are inaccurate. During the entire duel, you will be asked to choose a dialogue option twice. However, your decision will not affect the result of the fight.
The only moment when you have to stay sharp is when Nate is being forced by a bookshelf. Press square as soon as the icon appears on the screen. Your encounter will end with an effective cut scene.
Escaping the manor — part two
Shoot two guards
You will regain control over Nate while he is holding on to metal poles. Use them to reach the nearby window frames and get to the right roof. When you reach a large balcony, perform a long jump towards the opposite balcony. Leap towards the next pole. You won’t be successful and Nate will end up under fire. Wait till Sam throws you a pistol, and only then lean out and shoot the bandits. Deal with them, and climb and use the nearby edge to reach solid ground.
You can ambush the first thug
As soon as you get close enough to the fallen enemies, other opponents equipped with flashlights will appear. If you want, you can eliminate them with your newly acquired pistol, or wait in the shadows and ambush them. If you pick the latter option, quickly head right, jump over the railing and leap to a balcony with the closest enemy available.
Don’t attack him right away, but wait for him in the nearby corridor. Grab him or attack from behind.
The other bandit is located on the balcony with long grass
Another opponent is not far away. Wait for him to turn towards a different direction, jump through the window and leap towards him. Eliminate him in a way that will allow you to leave his body in the long grass (if it falls on the lower roof, other opponents may be alerted). Move right and locate two more guards. Use long grass to your advantage and eliminate them one by one. Don’t let other patrolling thugs notice you.
Move left and don’t get caught by enemies at the railing
Use the stairs previously used by your opponents and jump through the first encountered window frame. Move forward, jump through another window and start moving left. Sneak up under walls and balconies, especially those that are more visible. Constantly look around, as some of the thugs may stop for a moment at the railing. Slip past the guards and jump down.
Turn towards a lower roof in the distance and jump to reach it. Get to a small yard with long grass and listen to Nate’s comment.
Escaping the manor — part three
The final part of the journey to the ballroom is definitely the shortest but it does not mean that it won’t cause you any trouble. When you get to the yard, one of your foes will be patrolling the upper wall (see screenshot). Furthermore, two more watchmen will soon join him. Just like before, you can try to shoot all of them, or sneak some more.
Move right and keep your head down when possible
If you don’t want to get into a direct fight, move towards the closest railing (before your foes reach this position and start searching the area). Jump over the railing and move right. Remember to keep your head down when possible. You will reach a part of the roof located near a spot where you landed earlier. Ambush one of your enemies and pull him down as soon as he stops at the wall. This way you will make the rest of your struggle much easier.
Slide down the presented rope
Jump over the wall and enter the building from which two thugs came out moments ago. Reach the stairs and continue your sneaking routine. You don’t want to be spotted by the previously mentioned watchman, so move between pillars and use them as cover. Your objective is a part of roof with an attached rope. Grab it and use it to reach the ballroom.
Getting to the main gate
Don’t let your enemies reorganize or flank you
There is a battle going on in the ballroom and you must help Sam to deal with the guards. Don’t take cover behind pieces of wooden furniture, as they can be damaged easily by enemy fire. Hide behind massive pillars instead, because they are indestructible. When it comes to your opponents, don’t let them flank you. Avoid places where grenades land. It is highly recommended that you disarm one of the bandits and take his gun, e.g. a shotgun or a machine gun.
Watch out for more guards that will enter the ballroom
You can fight in whichever part of the ballroom you like, but you need to remember that after some time backup will arrive through the right door.
Keep that in mind and you shouldn’t get caught up in crossfire. Take your time to eliminate all your opponents and go outside when you kill all the guards. Once you exit the building, place yourself near the stairs, or one of the walls, and use elevation to your advantage to take out your enemies.
The sharpshooter is using a rifle with a laser scope which reveals his location
You need to be extremely careful because soon after you walk down the stairs to a lower section of the garden, you will come across a hostile sniper. His laser scope will give away his location. Kill him as soon as possible (you can use e.g. a machine gun). However, before you actually do that, take cover, and dodge if you need to change your location.
You need to get to Sully’s Limousine
When you get close enough to the exit, Sully will break through the gate with a limousine. Don’t rush to the vehicle, because a new wave of opponents will appear on both sides of the car. Systematically kill your enemies and wait for the right moment to move forward.
Now sprint to its back door.

This mission acts as a tutorial for advanced combat, such as enemy detection and stealth combat.

Head up the stairs and hop over the railing and then jump to the nearby tower to trigger an event about enemy detection. This section is all about not being seen by the enemies, as it will make your progress a lot easier, so jump left and then pull yourself up and hide out of view in the tower.

There is only one doorway from this building, facing a blue and white tower, so wait for the enemy flashlights to shine away and then run and hop onto one of the ledges.
As you reach the top ledge a guard will walk to the edge and allow you to stealth kill him by pressing Square before you pull yourself up.
The opposite door is catty-corner to another tower, but wait for the enemy above to look off the other way before you jump to the shingled rooftop and then to the tower itself.

Wait for the lights to turn away and jump to the nearby tower to kill an enemy.
Before you pull up into the tower make sure the guard on the balcony across the way isn’t looking and then jump out the left door to a different building. You can now run to the opposite side of the building, hop off the right side of the balcony, wait for an opening, and then run across the roof and climb up to the railing.

The tall grass in this area can be used for cover, Assassin’s Creed style, so move slowly to the center of the grass and when the guard is close enough press Square to perform a stealth takedown. Wait for the other guard to follow suit before you head up the stairs.

When it’s clear make a dash for the balcony to proceed to the area with tall grass.

Hop up into the spotlight and climb the side of the building. At the top you can get a glance of the ballroom, but you’ll need to climb up into an open window on this building to continue.
This is a scripted fight, meaning no matter what you do there is only one outcome. Press Square to attack Nadine and when she grabs you press Triangle to break the hold. There are a few opportunities for witty banter in your responses to Nadine, so feel free to be as much of a show off as you can while she kicks your ass.

After spotting the ballroom you’ll encounter Nadine. There’s no way to beat her, as the fight is intended to have you get thrown out the window.
After being ejected from the fight, swing across the metal bars to the side of the building and jump to the adjacent rooftop. Jump catty-corner to another balcony and then jump out the window to grab the metal bar that crosses the archway.

After the short event, swing to the ledge and shimmy left to the round sign that Sam was talking about. Now that you have a gun, aim at the heads of the two guards while they are focused on Sam and then climb over the sign and continue left until you’re on solid ground.

When you reach the round sign you’ll get a gun to finally play offensively.

As soon as you go for the ammo more guards will enter the area, so take cover behind the railing.
Once the guard on the adjacent building isn’t looking, jump the gap and shimmy right around the building and pull up, taking cover against the wall. The guard will walk right into Nate for a stealth kill and then you can take cover on the railing on the other side of the hall.

Wait for the guard in the tall grass to look right and then hop over the railing and jump across the gap.
You can now climb up the railing edge, where it isn’t see through, and wait for the guard to come over to pull him over the edge.

When using stealth it is best to let the enemies come to you!

Slowly move forward in the tall grass until the guards begin to walk up the stairs and then back up so that the closest guard has to walk around the corner, out of view from the other guard, and stealth kill him.
You can now take out the other guard in the tall grass and wait in the corner closest to the guard on the rooftop across the way. Wait for him to begin to walk away and hop over the railing and then jump to the decorative cutouts and climb up to the roof, quickly taking cover behind the chimney.

Drop off the side of the building you came up and climb the decorative cutouts to the window, waiting until it is clear before you hop inside. There are usually two guards in this room; one that patrols the far side and one that walks closer to the window, but make sure that it is clear before taking either down.
The last guard patrols the next building over and should be easy to take down when he walks away. You can now hop over the railing to a small section of roof and jump to the adjacent rooftop near a courtyard of tall grass.

Hang from the window and wait for the best chance to hop indoors for some stealth kills (left). The final guard in this area is easy to get behind (right).
No enemies will enter the courtyard until you move the wooden cart forward, so push it forward just enough that the enemies exit the door at the back of the area.

Sometimes the enemies will walk through the grass and sometimes they will explore the side of the area first, so it’s best to run to the balcony behind you and hop over the ledge to take cover where you won’t be seen.
Watch the enemies and take note of their patrol, but be careful because there is another enemy on the rooftop that overlooks the whole courtyard.
It is best to take them down behind pillars, in the tall grass, or close to the upper floor where the guard above is. Once the enemies in the lower courtyard are taken down use the stairs, via the doorway that the guards exited, to reach the upper level and kill the final guard.

Be wary of the guard on the upper level, taking out the enemies downstairs first.
The zipline will lead you to the ballroom, mid-firefight with Sam. Watch the stage to the left, near Sam, because a shotgun wielding enemy will come from there and it poses the greatest threat.

The wooden cases and tables don’t provide cover for long and will crumble under enemy fire, so make your way right across the ballroom to the furthest pillar. From here you have plenty of cover to kill off the first round of enemies and then the second round will enter from the doors on the right.

Once the ballroom is clear you can exit and head down the stairs, killing two more guards, and then take cover behind one of the pillars at the base of the stairs. The enemies here are endless and will continue to spawn throughout the match.
You’re objective is to make your way to the front of the area, where Sully will smash the car through the bushes and provide an exit. Try to progress forward by using the pillars as cover until you feel it is clear enough to make a dash for the car door.

Alpine villages float past one after another, the life of which has changed little over the past couple of hundred years.
Only an hour and a half drive from Kumukh is the ancient village of Ulluchara. Its main axis runs exactly along the crest of the rock, a small old minaret is visible stretching to the sky.

He lives in the lower part of the village, like many of the remaining three hundred Ulluchars. In the upper, ancient part of the village, more than half of the houses are abandoned.
