The build quality of both of the wheels is quite good for a starter set. It’s hard not to see the Logitech as the victor, however. The steel wheel with leather cover gives off an air of professionalism that the hard plastic and rubber simply don’t.
When comparing the two it seems as though the Logitech is a sim racing peripheral, and the T150 is a toy.
That being said, you’ll only ever notice this if comparing one against the other. With the T150, the hard plastic coupled with rubber grips doesn’t feel cheap. Contrarily, it feels quite good, allowing for great handling and relatively comfortable experience. The higher quality materials make Logitech the winner in this case, but that shouldn’t take away from the impressive build quality of the T150 for the materials used.

Inherently tied to the build quality, the G29 also shines in the design department. It should come to no surprise that the stunning aesthetics mix with excellent ergonomics. Logitech has years of practice and mastery, and the G29 is the demonstration of this
The Thrustmaster falls disappointingly short here. The look isn’t bad at all, it’s actually quite fun. Both the PS4 and Ferrari models have a unique feel.

Nevertheless, if either of these wheels is your first purchase in the world for force feedback wheels you’ll still notice massive improvements over a non-force feedback wheel/controller. They will fight you on turns, you’ll feel the track under you, and you’ll have to put in effort to drive aggressively.
If these, however, are not the first wheels you purchase, then perhaps you should turn elsewhere.
Logitech G29 vs Thrustmaster T150: Pedals
The pedals are hands down won by Logitech. They aren’t anything to write home about, being 8 bit and offering up to 256 registerable positions. They are, however, very sturdy, grip both your foot as well as the floor admirably, and look incredibly pretty.
The Thrustmaster pedals are the weakest part of the T150 package. There’s no info regarding how many positions they register, nor whether they are 8 or 16 bit. They also look and feel cheap. Obviously, the fact that you get free pedals with an already inexpensive steering wheel is a positive, but these pedals will lose close to any head to head comparison.

Neither wheel is silent, but both are relatively quiet. The Logitech may make some knocking noises during your play time, and you can hear the cogging inside the T150.
If noise is an issue for you, the first question you have to ask yourself is what type of game you’re playing. If racing on track (such as an F1 game) then both wheels should be fine. You’ll occasionally have louder moments, but both wheels are doable. If rallying both the G29 and the T150 may become quite loud as you’ll have to whip the steering side to side a lot more often. The Logitech G29 remains an excellent wheel, it feels more well-built, the pedals are better, and it looks nicer.
