However, if you’re playing on a console like PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch, you’ll need to press the relevant controller button combinations.

Most cheat codes come in two varieties.

There is a gibberish code that is short but hard to remember, or a phrase that takes a little longer to type but actually makes sense. Ultimately, both do the same thing, but you’ll be forgiven for not remembering that it is «LXGIWYL» that blesses you with a bunch of handy weapons.

You can enable as many cheats as you like, although some will override others. Just know that it is recommended not to save with cheat codes enabled. This, especially with pedestrian cheat codes, can cause problems later in the game—potentially blocking your progress entirely.
