While there’s a huge variety of gaming experiences available on Switch, there’s a good chance that couch co-op games were a big part of the reason you bought Nintendo’s hybrid console. After all, the Switch is tailor-made for those experiences thanks to its Joy-Con controllers, which double up as two separate pads when you’ve got a friend nearby, even when you’re out and about.
But what are the best couch co-op games on Nintendo Switch? That’s what we’re here to find out in this selection of co-operative local multiplayer titles. We’re going with the definition that co-op games allow players to work together as teammates, as opposed to competing against each other. We’re also only including games with local multiplayer on a single device, which rules out games like Splatoon 3, for example.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order isn’t a groundbreaking, narrative-heavy reinterpretation of the comic characters you know and love, but then again neither were the first two games. In that regard, it’s a very faithful sequel that mines the vast roster of characters from the comics while including plenty of nods to the current state of the more modern Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While it doesn’t do anything particularly new or outstanding, it embraces the brainless fun of its brawler combat with gusto, and it’s at its absolute best when played with a team of player-controlled supers.

You might not be aware that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has an excellent co-op mode, with you and a friend tackling a variety of mission maps as your favourite characters. You’ll have to have completed World 1.5 in solo mode before it becomes accessible via the Buddydome to the right of Peach’s Castle. We’d love to see this expanded on in a potential sequel, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for an announcement this year.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ offers four player local co-op in this Zelda-like endless dungeon crawler roguelike.
Bit of a mouthful, eh? Sadly, you won’t play as four Isaacs. Only player one is Isaac, with the other players playing as babies instead. These deal half of the damage of Isaac and can fly, but only have a single heart container – which they take off Isaac when they join.
Rocket League is a fine online multiplayer game of driving really fast, pulling off insane tricks, and scoring ridiculous goals with an oversized ball in a car. Make no mistake, despite the odd concept, this is arguably the finest football game available on Switch right now. Local co-op is supported for up to four players, and you can battle against the CPU in 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 matches. That’s plenty to sink your teeth into.
A beautiful little game, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a winner whether you’re after puzzling or jump button-less platforming, and the two-player co-op Nintendo added post-launch makes this offering even tastier with Toadette able to join the Captain through the entire game.
There’s even a nice little nugget of DLC for once you’ve polished off the main story. With beautiful visuals and an upbeat soundtrack, it’s is a real gem; a wonderful and gorgeous 3D platform puzzler fit for all ages, and one which you should definitely experience if you’re yet to.
Enter the Gungeon is as mad as its name suggests. This is an absolutely bonkers bullet-infested roguelike in which you shoot, loot, roll, and flip a bunch of tables on your journey through hordes of enemies to earn the legendary gun that can… er, kill the past. Whatever that means. Who really cares about story – this is an action-packed shooter that makes the action of The Matrix look like a Yoga session for the elderly.
Minecraft was at one point the biggest game on the planet before Fortnite arrived to steal all of the limelight. Even so, its influence is far-reaching and explains the sheer number of copycat survival games and blocky builders.
The original and best is available on Switch though, of course, and provides you with countless hours of co-op fun as you pretty much do anything you want from building stuff to crafting weapons and beating up enemies.
Death Squared was built with co-op in mind, and boy does it do a good job of it. You have to work your way through a bunch of increasingly-challenging puzzling levels, helping two cuboid robots to stand on their same-coloured circle without destroying each other. It sounds easy, but navigating the various pitfalls and challenging sequences can be very challenging. Packed with character and brilliant narration, Death Squared is a little cube-shaped eShop gem.
SMG and DevM Games’ more recent co-op game Moving Out is also worth a look if you’re in the market for a breezy, chaotic removal firm sim that has you clearing houses as quickly as possible to an excellent ’80s soundtrack.
Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is an absolutely excellent 2D platformer that you really should check out regardless of the multiplayer options.
As it happens though, it has full couch co-op support, allowing you to play through the entire experience with a friend. And what an experience it is. You’ll run, jump, and punch your way through a variety of imaginative levels that draw on influences from Mario to Sonic, and even Guitar Hero.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime turns the silliness right up to 11, and provides near perfect co-op action fun for you and your friends. It’s got support for four players, and each of you have to work together to keep a pink Death Star running as it battles nasties in space. You’ll run between various different control rooms, manning turrets, lasers, shields, and thrusters to both keep your ship functioning and to rack up a high score. Death is inevitable, but you can delay it for as long as possible – provided you work together.

Mit „Donkey Kong Country – Tropical Freeze“ holt ihr euch eines der besten 2D-Jump-and-Runs der letzten Jahre nach Hause. Ursprünglich erschien „Super Mario 3D World“ bereits im Jahr 2013. Und auch die Erweiterung könnt ihr zu zweit spielen, wobei eine Person Mario als Bowser Jr. unterstützt.
Bei dem Spiel handelt es sich um eine Fortsetzung eines Wii-U-Titels – die Neuerungen gehen jedoch weit über eine schlichte Neuauflage hinaus. Die Charakterauswahl ist inzwischen auf 76 spielbare Kämpferinnen und Kämpfer aus allen Ecken des Nintendo-Universums und anderen Spielen angewachsen und sorgt dafür, dass auch wirklich jeder Spiele-Fan auf seine oder ihre Kosten kommt. Der Multiplayer-Modus wurde zudem gründlich überarbeitet und funktioniert wesentlich besser als bei früheren Teilen.
Die neue Solo-Geschichte und die zahlreichen Spielmodi werden auch diejenigen zufriedenstellen, die mit Kampfspielen sonst nicht so viel am Hut haben. Unschlagbar ist das Spiel zudem im lokalen Multiplayer – der Hit auf jeder Couchparty.
Als Luigi begebt ihr euch in einem riesigen Hotel auf Geisterjagd. Die einzelnen Etagen sind dabei in unterschiedliche Themen aufgeteilt, so geratet ihr unter anderem in einen Wald und in ein Filmstudio. Das Spiel bietet euch Gruselstimmung auf kindgerechte Art, macht aber wirklich enorm viel Spaß – auch zu zweit.
„World War Z“ ist ein Koop-Shooter für bis zu vier Spieler und Spielerinnen, der auf der gleichnamigen Roman- und Filmvorlage basiert. In dem schnellen Third-Person-Spiel zieht ihr gegen bis zu 500 Zombies gleichzeitig in den Kampf. Um zu überleben müsst ihr aber nicht nur schwere Geschütze auffahren, sondern auch Barrieren bauen und Fallen stellen.
Lasst die Baumeisterin oder den Baumeister in euch raus und erschafft bei „Minecraft“ unglaubliche Welten.
Ihr könnt euch im Kreativmodus mit unbegrenzten Ressourcen ausleben oder ihr versucht im Überlebensmodus gefährliche Kreaturen abzuwehren.
In „Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle“ können zwei Spielerinnen oder Spieler in die Haut von jeweils zwei Charakteren schlüpfen und müssen es dann gemeinsam mit den Rabbids aufnehmen. Dank der ansprechenden Grafik und den spannenden Koop-Szenarien macht das Spiel somit auch zusammen viel Spaß.
„Rayman Legends“ ist zwar ein älteres Game im Genre der Koop-Spiele, überzeugt aber bis heute mit einem malerischen Comic-Look, einem fantastischen Soundtrack, spannenden Leveln und einem tollen Spielerlebnis. Besonders spannend sind dabei die Musiklevel und die unterhaltsamen Minispiele.
Mit bis zu vier Spielerinnen und Spielern ist es eure Aufgabe, das Dorf Kamura vor einer nahenden Monsterinvasion zu beschützen. Dafür habt ihr Zugriff auf ein riesiges Waffenarsenal, mit dem ihr euch den verschiedenen Monstern stellen könnt. Besonders im Koop-Modus ist das Spiel damit ein riesiger Spaß.
Bei „Temtem“ erwartet euch das gleiche Fangen-, Trainieren- und Kämpfen-Prinzip von „Pokémon“. Gemeinsam mit anderen Spielerinnen und Spielern geht ihr auf Monster-Jagd und könnt die Story entweder alleine oder online abschließen.

After «Categories» are added and configured , add and configure «Services» in each category.
New Service
Go to Settings > Recording Settings > Services . To add a service, click on the button «Create» > «Create service» .
Setting
In the new window that opens, configure the information about the service.
Information is configured in different tabs:
- «Basic settings»
- Employees
- «Online appointment»
- «Advanced settings»

2. Select «Category» services, for example, Haircuts . By default, the category in which the service is created will be selected.
3. Specify «Price» of the service. Check the box «Indicate the price in the range» if necessary, enter the minimum and the maximum price.
4. Enter «Duration» of the service. This duration will be selected by default when attaching services to employees. If necessary, employees can set a different duration.
5. Select Service Type — Individual or Group . If you chose a group, please indicate the capacity of the group. For individual services, an individual «Record» will be created in the entry log, and «Event» for group services. Read more about setting up group events in article «Setting up group events» .
Employees
Add employees who perform the service so that customers can sign up for them online or through the administrator.
1. Press «Add employee» and select from the list of available employees those who will provide this service.
If you haven’t created employees yet, then add them following instruction .
2. You can individually specify the duration of the service for each employee.
3. If necessary, add a routing (for more information about the assignment and setting of routings, see here ).
Online appointment
1. Specify whether the service will be displayed in «Online records» . If you switch the slider to the inactive position, customers will not be able to sign up for this service online. But the administrator will be able to make entries for this service in the entry log.
2. Enter «Name for online entry» .
This name of the service will be seen by customers when registering online. If the field is left blank, the main name of the service will be used.
3. Add «Description» of service. Here, tell us about the features of the service: materials, benefits and other information that will help the client make a choice. The maximum number of characters in the description is 450 .
4. Add «Image» that reflects the essence of the service.
The recommended image size is 340 x 140 px . Maximum file size — 1 2 Megabyte .
5. Indicate the status “Online payments” for this service: “allowed” , “prohibited” or “Mandatory” — for the old version of the online record. To pay in the new version, you need to switch the corresponding slider in the field «Online prepayment» .
With online payment enabled, customers will be able to pay for the service in the online booking widget. Read more about online payment settings in this article .
6. If necessary, switch the slider «Service available for a limited time» . Specify “What time is recording available” , “What time is recording available” , and “Days available for recording” ( “Weekdays only”, “Weekends only”, “ Any day», «Specified days» — for the specified days, you need to mark the necessary days in the calendar) .
In the online recording widget, when registering for this service, only sessions that fall within this interval will be available.
Important
- Setting «What time is recording available» works and without setting «When is recording available» .
You can limit the time of online recording without limiting the period. - If the time interval is, for example, 12:00 to 15:00, the last entry can be made at 15:00.
7. Specify Recording session output settings . Adjust intervals for «Output Step» , and «Search Step» sessions. With their help, the display in the widget of the online recording of free time for recording for this service is configured. Advanced settings
1. Specify “Receipt name” . If the field is left blank, the main name of the service will be used.
2. Select from the list «Taxation system» , which is used in the company, and specify the amount «VAT» .
3. Select «Payment profile» which will be used by default for this service.
4. Set up automatic «Revisit Notification» for customers with an offer to visit again. A notification will be sent if during the specified period the client has not made an appointment with the company for this service. You can also make these settings in section Settings > System Settings > Notification Types
5. Enable «Automatic withdrawal from the subscription» . If the client has an active subscription, then the visit will be charged automatically if the client does not cancel the visit in advance. Specify «How many hours (maximum 48) before the visit» the client can cancel the visit without being automatically charged from his subscription.
Important
- If you set in setting « How many hours before the free cancellation of the lesson» values 0 , free cancellation is possible before 900 5 minutes before the start.
That is, auto-recovery will still work at a value of 0 hours.

Resources
Add resources from the list required to perform the service to take into account their employment when signing up for the service.

Languages
Specify the name of the service in other languages so that customers can see it when changing languages in the online booking widget.
Select the desired language and add the translation of the name of this service to it. You can read more about this setting here .
At the end, be sure to press the button «Create» (if the service has not yet been created) or «Save» .
Editing
If necessary, you can edit these settings, transfer services from one category to another, add or remove services.
To edit an existing service or delete it, click on its name or on the Edit button .
To delete the service, press the button «Delete» , then a warning will appear: « Deletion will lead to irreversible consequences, loss of all related operations and settings», enter the word «DELETE» to confirm the deletion.
- Services can be moved through the list within category , to do this, click on the button with three bars to the left of the service name and drag the line to the desired location. This sequence of services is displayed in the online entry widget and when a journal entry is created.
- To quickly enable and disable online recording , click on the switch under the heading «Online recording» next to the name of the service.
- If necessary, you can also quickly change the price , the total duration of the service , link the routing and assign employee .

In 2017, the Tricolor operator launched a new service — Online TV, the essence of which is the ability to watch satellite television via the Internet without using a dish. Each subscriber can connect this option to an existing satellite broadcast, if the equipment supports this function.
What is Online TV from Tricolor
Online TV from Tricolor allows you to watch channels by connecting the receiver to the network. This solution provides access to high-definition broadcasting, is compatible with any provider, and allows you to rewind a movie or TV program without a drive.
Within a week after connecting to Online TV, the subscriber will be able to use the «Telearchive» — a recording of TV programs that are convenient to return to. Since you can already watch Tricolor via the Internet, every subscriber is able to appreciate all the advantages of the available channels without a dish.
Advantages of Online TV
At the moment, Tricolor TV over the Internet without a dish operates quite stably at an Internet speed above 15 Mbps. The operator is actively developing to improve this area, so it is very important to update the receiver software in a timely manner. The Online TV service, officially launched, has revealed its obvious advantages:
Free access to additional TV channels via the global network
Online TV is not only more than one hundred and forty TV channels, but also additional content that was previously paid. This is due to the technical differences between Internet broadcasting and satellite broadcasting and a set of television channels in separate Tricolor TV packages.
Ability to view channels not included in regional packages
This feature is due to the lack of geographical boundaries for Internet broadcasting. While the Tricolor TV satellite has its own coverage area and regional features of television broadcasting, Online TV for both the European and Siberian broadcasting zones offers additional channels that were previously not available in standard packages.
Access to TV even with satellite failures
Satellite equipment is sensitive to weather conditions, so the ability to switch to online broadcasting expands the functionality of Tricolor TV. The Internet is not affected by the weather, technical problems on the satellite, or other external influences. It is limited only in case of technical problems on the part of the Internet provider.
Easy to set up TV in a new location
«Online TV» is a modern mobile version of Tricolor. All you need is to connect the receiver to the network in a new place, after which you can continue watching your favorite TV shows.
For example, you will watch Tricolor channels in a city apartment through a receiver that was taken from the dacha for the winter.
What you need to connect
To connect such an option from Tricolor as «Online TV» and receive broadcasting via the Internet without a dish, you must ensure that the receiver is connected to the global network. This can be done in two ways:
• connecting an Ethernet cable to the receiver directly for cable connection;
• Connecting an Ethernet cable to a router and setting up a Wi-Fi network for a wireless connection.
Hardware Requirements
Online TV service is available only on the territory of the Russian Federation. Watching Tricolor TV without a plate via the Internet is not always possible due to technical limitations:
• Receiver model: a list of new equipment with which the Online TV option is available, see the link in the section » Tricolor Online (view via Internet) «. Models of receivers older than 3 years are not suitable, but for interested subscribers there is a promotion «Exchange of old Tricolor TV receivers for new ones».
• Internet speed: This is rarely a problem as the minimum speed requirement is 15 Mbps. However, the quality of the broadcast will depend on the speed of the Internet.
• Software: The software on the receiver needs to be updated; if this is not done, the Online TV option will not work. Before connecting it, make sure you have the latest update installed.
• Channel package «Single»: Online TV will not connect if the subscription to it is inactive, so be sure to check its status. Pay for a subscription if necessary.
• Scheme of connecting set-top boxes in the house: when one of the receivers is used as a server, Online TV will work only on it. Therefore, in this case, the Internet connects to the server.
Before launching Tricolor TV via the Internet, you should make sure that the equipment is able to work without a dish.
How to set up the Online TV service from Tricolor
Before you can watch online TV from Tricolor via the Internet, you need to not only connect the equipment, but also make some settings.
It is not difficult to do this, and further television broadcasting with the option connected will be available at any time.
In most cases, after connecting the equipment, satellite TV connects to the service automatically. It remains to find the “Broadcasting” item in the set-top box menu, which allows you to select the signal source — the Internet or satellite. Then a list of available TV channels appears on the screen.
Setting up Online TV is extremely simple, which makes it possible to use the receiver in a new place, connecting to any Internet provider operating today.
Equipment Installation Features
An Ethernet cable connected directly to a router or receiver can be connected to an Internet outlet or a LAN input on the router. Features of installing equipment depend on the type of receiver and the method of connecting the Internet to it.
If the Online TV option did not connect automatically after installing the equipment, you can do it manually.
