Any number of keys on the SKILLER SGK3 can be illuminated without software.
To do this, first press and hold the SKILLER key, then press the SET button. The «Customize» lighting effect is now selected. Press the key combination again to enter lighting programming mode. The LEDs above the number pad will flash as an indicator.
By pressing and holding the SKILLER key and then pressing the right arrow button , the SET key can adjust the backlight color during lighting programming. The key combination can be repeated up to eight times when choosing a color. Then you can press any number of keys, which are also highlighted in the selected color. nine0243 If you want to remove lighting, press the previous key combination until the SET key appears. the backlight goes out. Now select the keys whose backlight you want to remove. To end lighting programming, press the lighting programming key combination again.
Software installation
First download the SKILLER SGK3 software from www.shakoon.com. Extract the zip file to a folder of your choice, and then double-click «SKILLER_SGK3_EN_Setup.

Game Profiles
Most settings in the game software can be grouped into three game application files. This includes key assignments, lighting effects, and polling rate.
Select a game pro file by clicking Profile 1, Profile 2 or Profile 3. The currently selected pro file will be highlighted in blue.
Note:
When switching between game profiles, the backlight of the SKILLER SGK3 may flicker momentarily while the settings are being updated. nine0003
Keymaps
To remap your SKILLER SGK3’s keys, first select the game pro.file for which the new keymap will be saved.
Then click on the key you want to change in the software.
You can now choose whether to assign a new assignment, macro, or multimedia command to the key. All changed keys will be highlighted in blue. To apply the changes, click «Apply» in the main menu. nine0243 To reset individual keys to their default settings, click the key to assign it to the ? symbol in the next window. Then click Apply. To reset all key assignments of the selected profile to return to default settings, click the «Reset» button in the main menu of the software.

Assigning keys using macros
To assign a macro to a key, open the «Macro» option in the macro manager, there you can select an already created macro or set up a new macro. For more information, see the Macro Manager section. |
Assigning keys to multimedia commands
| The Multimedia Commands option allows you to assign commands such as launching and controlling the media player to different keys. Lighting
To adjust the backlight of the keyboard, click the Lighting menu tab. A separate window will appear on the screen to the left of the displayed keyboard.
Select a preset lighting effect or custom lighting from the drop-down list. Depending on the lighting effect, you can adjust the intensity, frequency, color and direction of the lighting effect. Selecting the «RGB» checkbox activates the multi-color lighting effect — if available — instead of lighting with a single color.
nine0243 All lighting settings are applied in real time and do not require confirmation by pressing the «Apply» button in the main menu.
Select the «Customize» lighting effect option if you want to highlight individual keys. Here, using the drop-down list, you can select and edit up to four lighting presets. files by genre and up to six files.
First, select the desired color from the Color drop-down list. Then click on the pen icon. Now you can select any number of keys that will be highlighted in the selected color. Macro Manager
The Macro Manager allows you to record, modify and delete up to 100 macros, each containing more than 250 keystroke sequences, including delays.
Macros are independent of the three game profiles and can be shared with them.
To create a new macro, first click the plus icon to the right of the drop-down list. New macros are sequentially numbered in the software when created. Click on the macro name to change it at any time. To remove a macro, click on the minus icon. nine0243 To start recording a macro, click «Start Recording» and then enter the desired key sequence for the macro. To stop macro recording, click Stop Recording. Click «OK» in the macro manager and then click «Apply» in the main menu to save the macro as a whole.
In the Recorded Macro Details field, the recorded keys are listed in the Key column, and the Action column indicates whether the corresponding key was pressed or released. After recording a macro, you can set up the macro by using the drop-down menu and pressing the recorded action keys. nine0243 The Delay column displays either the default 50ms delay or the actual delay between two keystrokes.
To record the actual delay between two keystrokes, check the corresponding option under the field for recording macro. After that, the value can also be entered manually.
Up to 255 cycles can be set in the adjacent field «Number of cycles» for the corresponding macro.
Example:
Macro containing the key sequence «F6 F2 478» with three cycles; the output of the macro will be: F6 F2 478 F6 F2 478 F6 F2 478.
You can move individual recorded keys to the beginning of the macro by pressing Top, or to the end of the macro by pressing Bottom.
Up and Down tabs move recorded keystrokes in the appropriate direction within recorded macros.
«Delete» will remove individual recorded keystrokes from the macro, while «Delete All» will remove all recorded keystrokes but leave the macro.
About us
When you click on the question mark symbol in the upper right corner of the software, the About pop-up window will display the current version of the software.
nine0243 It is also possible to export or import recorded macros and customized keystrokes from the software to your computer.
To export, click Export and select the directory where you want to save the settings. Then give it a name and click Save. Click «Import» to transfer the already saved settings from the catalog to the program.
Polling rate
Polling rate determines the polling frequency between the computer and the SKILLER SGK3. The higher the Hz value, the shorter the time between two speeds. nine0243 The polling frequency can be set in four steps: 125Hz (8ms), 250Hz (4ms), 500Hz (2ms), 1000Hz (1ms).
The polling rate is applied in real time and does not require confirmation by pressing the «Apply» button in the main menu.
Reset
Pressing «Reset» resets the changed key assignments and selected lighting effects for the current profile file back to factory settings. Recorded macros and settings saved on the PC are not affected.
