Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC Has Two Obvious Paths » The marketplace for all online games, the guarantor of online deals.

Rockstar Games has two clear paths ahead when it comes to creating new DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most popular video game releases of 2018 and in fact remains one of the most popular games in the world to this day. Fans continue to play through the award-winning single-player campaign and spend a lot of time in Mode Red Dead Online , and this is despite Rockstar Games not releasing any major DLC expansions. Rockstar supported Red Dead Online with small content updates, but it’s safe to say that fans are hungry for more.

While Rockstar Games hasn’t given any indication as to whether Red Dead Redemption 2 or Red Dead Online will ever receive more substantial DLC, fans still have some semblance of hope. . In the end, Grand Theft Auto Online didn’t get its main Cayo Perico Heist DLC until a whopping seven years after its original launch, so it’s never too late for Rockstar to release a big update for Red Dead Online or Red Dead Redemption 2 .

If Rockstar ever decides to release Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC , the question remains what form it will take. However, there are two obvious paths that Rockstar can take when it comes to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online DLC, and it’s likely that fans will enjoy either option. 1014)

Nightmare of the Undead

Rockstar Games released DLC for the original Red DeadRedemption , the most notable being the Undead Nightmare expansion. A standalone addition to the original Red Dead Redemption , Undead Nightmare was a non-canonical story in which zombies took over the game world. Using the zombie craze that was sweeping the media at the time, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare proved to be a huge success with both fans and critics, earning good sales and acclaim for

.

Considering how popular the original Undead Nightmare expansion was, it’s no wonder fans wanted to see something similar for Red Dead Redemption 2 . There were rumors that Red Dead Redemption 2 Halloween events would add Undead Nightmare content, but each time these rumors turned out to be false. But as mentioned earlier, Rockstar is never too late to release an expansion for Red Dead Redemption 2 thanks to the game’s continued popularity, and perhaps the Undead Nightmare expansion will materialize for the game at some point down the line.

It’s easy to see why fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 would want Undead Nightmare add-ons for the new game. Red Dead Redemption 2 is miles ahead of its predecessor in terms of graphical fidelity and the scope of the game world, so see how the franchise has taken on zombies in Red Dead Redemption 2 would be nice. spectacle. It would also give players the chance to revisit Red Dead Redemption 2’s characters. The original Undead Nightmare was non-canonical, and so its sequel may have been the same, bringing back characters who died during the events described in the main game.

When it comes to DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2 single player experience, Undead Nightmare seems like the most obvious choice. However, it is worth noting that the original Undead Nightmare also had an online multiplayer component, and so one would expect the sequel to have one as well. So Rockstar could not only increase the single player content of Red Dead Redemption 2 with Undead Nightmare , but also Red Dead Online .

In the original Undead Nightmare multiplayer consisted of Land Grab and Undead Overrun game modes. Land Grab didn’t really have anything to do with zombies, but Undead Overrun was essentially a co-op horde mode. Sequel Undead Nightmare could probably get away with ditching Land Grab, but a new version of Undead Overrun where players can team up with their friends to take on hordes of zombies in specific areas or the game’s vast open world. has an obvious attraction.

Mexico

Recently Red Dead Online player accidentally appeared in Mexico, a region of the game that is not actually accessible for official purposes. This caused a flurry of online discussion, with fans urging Rockstar Games to add Mexico to Red Dead Online actually. Rockstar Games did not respond to these requests, and it is likely that the glitch that allowed players to spawn in Mexico will eventually be closed on
