Pferde sind für Red Dead Redemption 2, was für GTA 5 die Autos sind.

Pferde sind das wichtigste Fortbewegungsmittel in Red Dead Redemption 2. Sie dienen nicht nur dem Zweck, schnell von A nach B zu kommen. Jedes Pferd bringt eigene Stats wie Geschwindigkeit oder Ausdauer mit, die die unserer Spielfigur ergänzen.

Aber bei Pferden gibt es auch einiges zu beachten: Welche Pferderasse ist die beste? Wie kommt man an neue Pferde und zähmt sie? Wie pflegt man Pferde richtig und gewinnt ihr Vertrauen? Wie wechselt man sein Hauptpferd und was passiert, wenn ein Pferd stirbt? Unser Guide beantwortet alle wichtige Fragen rund um die treuen Reittiere.

Warum ist ein gutes Pferd wichtig?

Zu Beginn von Red Dead Redemption 2 bekommt man ein Pferd gestellt. Wer das einfach behält und sich nie wieder mit dem Thema befassen will, macht sich das Open-World-Spiel nur unnötig schwer. Wer eines der besseren Pferde im Spiel sein eigen nennt, hat es deutlich leichter bei Verfolgungsjagden, in Rennen oder auch beim Kampf vom Pferderücken aus, weil gute Pferde über bessere Werte bei Ausdauer, Gesundheit und mehr mitbringen.

Über unser Hauptpferd können wir im Sattel außerdem Items und Ausrüstung einlagern und sie so bequem mitnehmen oder man wirft einfach ein Kopfgeld-Ziel bequem auf den Pferderücken und transportiert es so mühelos. Außerdem lässt sich das eigene Pferd über Felltypen und Accessoires individuell anpassen. Ein Pferd zu haben ist also essenziell, ein gutes Pferd zu haben noch besser.

Mit einem Pferd muss man Lasten nicht selbst tragen und sich ohne Schnellreise mühsam zu Fuß durch die Welt kämpfen.

Jedes Pferd bringt eigene Werte mit. Konkret sind das folgende:

  • Gesundheit (wie viel das Pferd aushält)
  • Ausdauer (wie lang das Pferd galoppieren oder andere anstrengende Handlungen ausführen kann)
  • Geschwindigkeit (wie schnell das Pferd im Galopp ist)
  • Beschleunigung (je schneller euer Pferd seine Maximalgeschwindigkeit erreicht)
  • Gewicht (wie fit das Pferd ist — es sollte weder mager, noch übergewichtig sein)
  • Sauberkeit (wie sauber das Pferd ist — zu viel Schmutz senkt die Gesundheit)
  • Wendigkeit (wie rasch das Pferd auf Befehle reagiert)

Pferde spielen in Red Dead Redemption 2 und Red Dead Online eine entscheidende Rolle.

Wie pflege ich Pferde und baue Vertrauen auf?

Zuneigung ist für euch und euer Pferd entscheidend, weil euer Reittier dadurch verbessert wird. Um seine Werte zu erhöhen, müsst ihr es regelmäßig füttern, streicheln und sein Fell pflegen. Je nachdem, wie gut ihr euch um euer Pferd kümmert, liegt eure Verbundenheit zwischen 0 und 4.

Stufe 0 und 1 bringen keine besonderen Vorteile. Auf Stufe 2 erhöhen sich Gesundheit und Ausdauer um ein Segment und euer Pferd kann sich aufbäumen. Bei Stufe 3 kommt erneut mehr Gesundheit und Ausdauer dazu. Euer Pferd lernt zudem, zu wenden und zu stoppen, wenn es rutscht. Stufe 4 beschert euch ein weiteres Segment und euer Pferd lernt den Seitengang und auf der Stelle zu traben — falls ihr ambitionierte Dressurreiter seid.

Zusätzlich erhöht sich die Entfernung, aus der ihr euer Pferd herbeipfeifen könnt — bei Stufe 4 sind das immerhin 350 Meter. Hier noch einmal die Aktionen, die eure Verbundenheit erhöhen im Überblick:

  • Streicheln (alle 45 Sekunden möglich)
  • Beruhigen
  • Striegeln (Besonders effizient bei schmutzigen Tieren — aber lasst euer Pferd nicht zu sehr verschmutzen)
  • Füttern (achtet auf das Gewicht!)
  • Salbe auftragen
  • Anbinden (nur einmal alle 12 Ingame-Stunden pro Gebiet bepunktet)
  • Reiten
  • Führen
  • Von Last befreien (nach langer Tragedauer wirksamer)

Nur mit der richtigen Pflege und Ernährung bleibt euer Pferd gesund.

Wie kommt man an neue Pferde?

Neue Pferde kann man in Red Dead Redemption im Rahmen der Geschichte erhalten, kaufen, fangen oder auch stehlen. Während man gleich im Prolog sein (nicht besonders gutes) Standard-Pferd erhält, wird über eine Quest in Kapitel 2 die Möglichkeit eingeführt, neue Pferde über Ställe zu kaufen oder verkaufen.

Danach werden in allen Städten Ställe freigeschaltet. Man kann überall nachschauen, welche Pferde gerade zum Verkauf stehen und sich das Beste aussuchen. Das Angebot wechselt regelmäßig. Diese Pferde haben meist die besten Werte, sind aber entsprechend teuer. Günstiger ist es, Pferde mit etwas schlechteren Werten zu stehlen oder zu fangen.

Achtung: Beim Diebstahl müsst ihr meist mit einem Kopfgeld oder Abzügen bei eurer Ehre rechnen. Fangen könnt ihr Pferde aus Wildpferdherden, die überall in der Open World verteilt sind. Zum Zähmen nehmt ihr einfach über euer Adlerauge die Fährte auf, nähert euch dem Pferd vorsichtig und fangt es dann mit dem Lasso ein.

Alternativ kann man das Pferd auch beruhigen und dann versuchen, aufzusitzen. Dann folgt ein kurzes Minispiel, bei dem man die Bewegungen des Pferdes kontern muss, bis es sich beruhigt hat. Dann habt ihr es gezähmt. Erst wenn ihr den Sattel anlegt, wird das Tier aber zu eurem Hauptpferd. Wildpferde starten außerdem bei Stufe 0 statt 1 wie gekaufte Tiere. Sie gehorchen erst voll, wenn ihr Stufe 1 erreicht habt.

Manche Pferderassen könnt ihr zudem nur kaufen und nicht in der Wildnis finden. Dazu zählen folgende:

  • Andalusier
  • Ardenner
  • Brabanter
  • Missouri Foxtrotter
  • Niederländisches Warmblut
  • Shire
  • Suffolk Punch
  • Turkmene

Nur mit Sattel kann ein Pferd zu eurem Hauptpferd werden.

Wie verkaufe ich Pferde?

Pferde lassen sich im Stall genauso verkaufen. Allerdings tut ihr euch dort mit gestohlenen oder gefangenen Pferden deutlich schwerer, weil ihr keine Unterlagen zu ihnen habt. Es gibt deshalb nur wenig Geld. Da ist es ratsam, eher einen Pferdehehler aufzusuchen. Er zahlt mehr, insbesondere bei einem hohen Ehrenwert und gutem Vertrauensverhältnis zu eurem Pferd. Den Hehler im Spiel findet ihr an der Ostküste des Flat Iron Lakes.

Wie wechsle ich mein Hauptpferd?

Man kann immer nur ein Hauptpferd gleichzeitig besitzen — das Pferd, das den Sattel trägt. Wollt ihr euer Hauptpferd ändern, nehmt ihr ihm einfach den Sattel ab und legt ihn anschließend einem anderen Pferd an.

Was mache ich, wenn mein Hauptpferd stirbt?

Zum Beispiel in bewaffneten Auseinandersetzungen kann ein Pferd auch tödlich verwundet werden.

Pferde sterben in Red Dead Redemption 2 sehr einfach. Sie können stürzen, im Kampf verwundet werden und mehr. Stirbt euer treuer Begleiter, bleibt er tot. Euch bleibt dann nichts anderes übrig, als den Sattel zu bergen und euch ein neues Tier zu holen. Verliert ihr den Sattel und habt keinen Zugriff mehr darauf, taucht er automatisch wieder im Stall auf.

Ist die Gesundheit eures Pferdes erschöpft, habt ihr noch Zeit, die Wiederbelebung einzuleiten. Dafür braucht man einen Pferde-Erwecker oder die Spezial-Variante davon. Man kann diese Gegenstände in der Spielwelt finden oder in Ställen kaufen. Nehmt immer einen mit, wenn euch euer Ross lieb ist. Je nach Vertrauensstufe habt ihr unterschiedlich viel Zeit zur Verfügung, um euer Pferd zu retten:

  • Stufe 1: 12 Minuten
  • Stufe 2: 25 Minuten
  • Stufe 3: 30 Minuten
  • Stufe 4: 60 Minuten

There are 5 exotic quests in Red Dead Redemption 2, including 19 locations with exotic items. They are considered collectibles for 100% completion. 25 alligator eggs: This is the easiest of all. Alligator eggs can be found in the swamps to the north and south near the water in the search area (highlighted on the map below). Where to find exotic items in Red Dead Redemption 2

To Red Dead Redemption 2 exotic items are collectible items that must be collected as part of the Exotic quest chain. You will have to complete it if you want to complete the game in 100 percent.
