Nintendo has confirmed that it will not be attending E3 2023. The company says this year’s event does not fit into its plans.

«We approach any event on an individual basis and always consider different ways to interact with our fans,» Nintendo said in a statement provided to VentureBeat.

“Because this year’s E3 exhibition does not fit into our plans, we have decided not to participate in it. However, we have been and remain strong supporters of ESA and E3.”

Nintendo last attended E3 live in 2019 and hosted a virtual program in 2021. Just because a company won’t be attending E3 2023 doesn’t mean it won’t host a Direct instead of a live event this summer. The

E3 will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center June 13-16. The event will be curated by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), which will partner with ReedPop, the production company behind PAX, New York Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration and other high-profile events.

This will be the first full show in four years. It was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and in 2021 it was held online only. In 2022, it was canceled completely.

Over the years, many publishers and developers have started to host shows separate from the show, instead of holding traditional press conferences like they used to.

So unfortunately Nintendo will not be attending E3 2023.

Riot Games says it will officially end support for Valorant on older versions of Microsoft Windows in March, citing «security concerns». A competitive FPS game that uses Riot-developed Vanguard security software is ending support for Valorant on Windows versions 7, 8, and 8.1 as Riot Games looks to step up its fight against cheaters.

In a post on its official Twitter account, Riot Games confirms that Valorant and Vanguard will end support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 on March 14 for security reasons. Riot explains, «By switching support to a newer version of Windows, we can take advantage of the latest security features and fixes, making it harder for cheaters.»

It’s always a little sad to see support for older versions of Windows drop. Since Microsoft previously offered a free upgrade to Windows 10 and this version went live in July 2015, it’s likely that the vast majority of active gamers are already running either this version or Windows 11 (or an alternative operating system like Linux). However, for those stuck on older systems, this is another thing they lose access to.

The Riot Vanguard program has drawn some criticism as one of several anti-cheat measures that use kernel-level access — a particularly high privilege level that gives access to almost everything on the system. Riot claims that this is necessary for modern fraud protection, as there are many scammers who are willing to run cheat programs using the same high level of system access privileges.

Meanwhile, in the 6.03 Valorant patch, stats will be reduced for Killjoy and Wraith, the recent pair of shooter heroes. Riot is also reporting new Valorant agents in 2023 as well as a new Valorant class.

New Sims 4 Growing Together expansion gameplay shows us that growing together doesn’t always mean doing it in harmony. The Sims 4 Growing Together expansion pack releases in March and will focus on relationships between family members in the game. As the new trailer reveals, this means more choices about how your Sims interact and how they build (or break) bonds with others.

As many know, the family is not always the picturesque center of love and support that it is made out to be. While many of us are lucky enough to be close enough to our family members, this is unfortunately not true for everyone. Relationships become strained, ideologies clash, people drift apart — the bond between family members can often be one of the most complex and difficult of all, for any number of reasons.

Upcoming games and game release dates for 2023

The Sims 4 Growing Together is designed to better reflect this reality by allowing you to fine-tune the dynamics of relationships between family members to better represent different family behaviors. As shown in the Growing Together gameplay trailer below, you can choose between several «family dynamics» options to represent the relationship between individual Sims in a family.

In the trailer, we see four possible options. Near and Far seem to be the simplest, representing a family that spends a lot of time together or has drifted apart. Complex can portray a more antagonistic relationship, and Pranksters is a good choice for classic sibling pranks, in which you banter and tease each other in a more loving, playful way.

EA Maxis says this system will go beyond simple menu choices, and you’ll have to make key decisions that can affect your Sims’ relationships. For example, will they allow their parents to move in with them? If you say no, it will affect their relationship, and if you say yes, then life at home will become much more difficult. You will also have to deal with the potential consequences. What if your Sim’s parents don’t get along with their partner?

«New relationships are getting more dynamic too,» says EA, explaining that these ideas extend to new social chemistry systems when making friends (or enemies). «For you, the choice may be whether you want to keep the peace or stir up drama.» This is definitely another step in the social simulation of the game, with more opportunities to tell your own story.

Where to get league tokens in Overwatch 2

Home Guides How to get league tokens in Overwatch 2

Overwatch League Tokens (OWL) are another form of in-game currency in Overwatch 2 that can be spent on various cosmetic items.

Unlike Overwatch Coins, which are the primary premium currency in the game, OWL Tokens cannot be earned through gameplay.

In addition, the cosmetics you purchase with Overwatch League Tokens are exclusive to this currency. You cannot purchase them with Overwatch Coins.

The following guide will show you how to get Overwatch League Tokens in Overwatch 2.

How to earn OWL Tokens in Overwatch 2

Watch some Overwatch League matches

Overwatch League Tokens are essentially a currency based on remuneration. The primary way to earn OWL Tokens is by watching/streaming Overwatch League matches. Please note that you need to watch the matches live. You will not receive anything for viewing the records.

You can earn up to 5 OWL Tokens by watching one hour of an Overwatch League match. It doesn’t have to be continuous. Sure, you can watch an hour of a match in one sitting, but if you split your viewing sessions by watching different live matches between breaks, that counts towards tokens too.

Be sure to link your Battle.net account to your YouTube account before watching matches on YouTube. You can link your accounts by following these steps.

  • Login to YouTube
  • Click on «Settings»
  • Go to the Connected Accounts section
  • Select your «Battle.net Account»
  • Click on Allow.
  • Watch the stream on the official Overwatch 2 YouTube channel.

Tokens will be credited to your Overwatch 2 account/profile in approximately 48 hours. You can then go to the in-game store to purchase exclusive OWL cosmetics and skins such as Clockwork Zenyatta and Luchador Reaper if you have enough tokens.

You need at least 100 OWL tokens to unlock the base skin. All-Star and Champion skins cost more, up to 200 OWL Tokens per skin.

Buy them with real money

You can get Overwatch League Tokens from your wallet, which shouldn’t be surprising since Overwatch 2 is free to play.
