As expected, Epic has revealed the latest Fortnite Starter Pack for Chapter 3 Season 4 over every format including mobile (where available), so all players can enjoy the benefits of the deal. This Fortnite Checkered Past Pack will set you back just $3.99/£3.19 and includes the Veronika outfit, Good Ol’ Pete back bling, Thudthumper harvesting tool, Checks and Scratches wrap, and most importantly 600 V-Bucks to spend on microtransactions in Fortnite. Even if you don’t plan on equipping these new cosmetic items, this still represents a great value deal for in-game currency alone. There’s no set date for how long this Fortnite Starter Pack will be available – the previous bundles were usually on the store for length of their corresponding seasons – but it will be removed eventually, so if you’re considering a purchase then don’t wait too long before you commit.
I wasn’t just guessing with that V-Bucks efficiency talk – here’s how the math stacks up for each individual V-Bucks purchase Fortnite offers, taking into account total V-Bucks including «bonuses» for buying in bulk, and rounding to the nearest whole number:
- 13,500 V-Bucks for $79.99 is 169 V-Bucks per dollar
- 5,000 V-Bucks for $31.99 is 156 V-Bucks per dollar
- 2,800 V-Bucks for $19.99 is 140 V-Bucks per dollar
- 1,000 V-Bucks for $7.
99 is 125 V-Bucks per dollar - 600 V-Bucks for $3.99 is 150 V-Bucks per dollar
The ratios work out similarly for GBP and other currencies. As you can see, the Fortnite Checkered Past Pack gives you the most V-Buck buying power of any option under the 5,000 purchase – which is quite an investment in in-game currency, since you could also use that same amount of cash to buy a whole new game. Or perhaps just an irresponsible amount of pie, if you prefer.

The Fortnite Checkered Past Pack, on the other hand, is nestled comfortably in «impulse buy» territory even without the Veronika outfit plus matching Good Ol’ Pete back bling, Thudthumper harvesting tool, and Checks and Scratches wrap.
Do note that the Fortnite Checkered Past Pack can only be purchased once for each account, so it isn’t an endless wellspring of in-game currency. And if you’d also like to buy the Battle Pass without grinding for the free Fortnite V-Bucks you occasionally earn, you’ll still need to buy extra on top to reach the 950 V-Bucks asking price; in other words, if you’re starting with this Fortnite Starter Pack, it won’t actually save you any money on the Battle Pass.
You can always use those extra V-Bucks to pick up more customisation items though, or put them towards buying the next Battle Pass when Fortnite Season 5 lands in December.

Am 19. Juli hat Epic einen Tweet mit dem Anime-Legenden-Paket veröffentlicht, welches im Einzelhandel am 14. Oktober und in digitalen Shops am 22. Oktober verfügbar sein wird. Das Paket beinhaltet insgesamt 10 Gegenstände, darunter neue Looks für folgende besonders beliebte Charaktere:

- Outfit „Radau-Rox“
- Outfit „Parat-Penny“

Der Brilliant Bomber sollte durch den Annual Pass 2020 freischaltbar sein, der nun gestrichen und durch die Fortnite Crew ersetzt wurde.
Sie ist ein Teil des Sunshine And Rainbows Sets und wird – falls sie in den Item-Shop kommt – 1.200 V-Bucks kosten. Jedoch wissen wir bisher noch nicht, wann das sein wird.

Xander wurde bereits in Chapter 2, Season 5 geleakt. Er ist dem Scimitar-Outfit nachempfunden, aber er scheint eine dark/corrupted Version von ihm zu sein. Es ist möglich, dass er innerhalb eines Pakets erscheinen wird. Sollte er im Item-Shop released werden, wird er vermutlich ebenfalls wie Scimitar, 1.200 V-Bucks kosten. Das Release Date ist bisher aber unbekannt.

K-Pop ist ein etwas mysteriöser Skin, der schon vor sehr langer Zeit von den Dataminern geleakt wurde. Niemand weiß, wie oder wann er veröffentlicht wird. Und auch der Name selbst ist noch nicht bestätigt. Es könnte sich um einen exklusiven Skin für Korea handeln, aber wir müssen abwarten und sehen, wie er dem Spiel hinzugefügt wird.
Im Item-Shop würde er vermutlich um die 1.200 V-Bucks kosten.

Das Gemini-Outfit wurde den Dateien erstmals in Chapter 2, Season 2 hinzugefügt, später aber wieder entfernt. Es ist aber gut möglich, dass sie in Fortnite zur Oster-Season erscheint. Gemini hat die Seltenheitsstufe episch und wird 1.500 V-Bucks kosten.
Wie viele Fortnite Skins gibt es 2022
Im Oktober 2022 gibt es aktuell mehr als 1350 Skins in Fortnite. Das ist ein ganz schöner Haufen… Jedoch ändert sich diese Zahl wöchentlich, da Epic Games stets an neuen Skins arbeitet. Kein Wunder, schließlich ist das ja auch irgendwo die Haupteinnahmequelle von Fortnite.
Trotzdem: Keine schlechte Leistung von Epic.

Fortnite developer Epic Games will donate all proceeds from the game from March 20 to April 3 this year as humanitarian aid to those affected by the fighting in Ukraine. The company announced this on the game’s page.
The studio explains that all Fortnite income refers to the total value of all purchases of in-game merchandise, including activation codes from retail stores, subscriptions, etc., excluding taxes, third-party platform fees, or returns. Purchases with in-game currency are not included in this category.
Epic will donate proceeds to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), and the humanitarian organization Direct Relief. The company adds that the list of organizations will be replenished in the near future.
