Activision Blizzard is reportedly sitting on Modern Warfare 3 remastered campaign
Despite Activision’s denial, trusted insiders have confirmed that a remaster of 2011’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 exists.

At this point, it’s Activision Blizzard’s words against leakers, and we’re betting on the latter.
Don’t forget, Modern Warfare 2 remastered was only a rumor until Activision Blizzard released it in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the publisher’s constant denial, a growing number of leakers claim that Activision is up to something. The most recent insider, TheGhostofHope, reveals that its sources have told them that a remaster of the campaign of the fan-favorite shooter from 2011 is «just sitting there waiting for the right time to be released.»
As mentioned, Activision previously denied reports about a Modern Warfare 3 remaster. In particular, a representative spoke to CharlieIntel last year and explained to the publication that «A remaster of Modern Warfare 3, campaign or multiplayer, does not exist. Any reports otherwise are incorrect.»
We’re starting to find out more about Modern Warfare II the closer we get to its release.
Activision can only blame itself for setting a precedent. In 2016, Activision released Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered as part of Infinity Warfare. The remastered shooter had a fully functioning Multiplayer mode and everything. Then, in 2019, a remaster of its sequel, Modern Warfare 2, came out albeit it didn’t get a multiplayer mode this time around. When you consider that the fan-favorite Call of Duty offshoot ends with its third installment, you can’t blame fans for wondering when the remaster of the 2011 shooter will come out — not if.
Hope is speculating that Activision will benefit a lot by releasing the remastered campaign as part of the rumored Year 2 content for the upcoming Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare II.

The Call of Duty franchise has been at the forefront of gaming headlines for the better part of the past year for all the wrong and the right reasons.
There’s no doubt that Microsoft’s acquisition of its publisher is one of the main reasons for this. But, another explanation why people can’t stop talking about the next Call of Duty is because it will be the first in the series history to have a two-year lifecycle.
The gaming industry has the best-selling shooter to thank for helping prove that the annual release cycle trend works outside of sports titles. If the rumors are true, Modern Warfare II is going to put an end to its long-standing tradition. In this case, an unprecedented two-year cycle means that Activision and Infinity Ward will have their work cut out for themselves. If nothing else, a remaster of Modern Warfare 3 would indeed keep audiences happy for the time being.
Unlike its predecessors, Modern Warfare 3’s single-player campaign wasn’t as beloved among fans.
Activision is expected to hit the stage at the Call of Duty Next event on the 15th. We hope to get an extensive roadmap for Modern Warfare II by then.
Modern Warfare 3 Remaster Will Be Timed PS4 Exclusive, Says Rumor

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remaster looks to be on the way very soon, but players who aren’t on the PS4 may have to wait a bit longer.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is considered one of the most beloved titles in the franchise. And with the series getting much love recently, rumors have been flying that a remaster is in the works. However, some fans may have to wait longer than others to get there hands on the fan-favorite shooter.
Recent reports from TheGamingRevolution shows that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered will be exclusive to the PS4 for a month. At this point, this would just be a rumor, as the game itself hasn’t yet been announced.

If the remaster of Modern Warfare 3 were exclusive to PS4, this would make sense, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered was exclusive to the PS4 for one month as well.
TheGamingRevolution has a very high track record when it comes to Call of Duty leaks, as he was suspended from Twitter back in February for accurate leaks of Warzone.
This didn’t stop him from continually leaking out information about Warzone, MW2, and now MW3, and his new account has now been suspended as well, perhaps pointing to validity in his information.
Fans were not happy about the MW2 Remaster being exclusive to the PS4 for a month, so if the same is true for MW3, the outcry will most likely be the same. That being said, the Call of Duty games are coming out nonstop right now, with Warzone as a massive free to play battle royale and multiple remasters of classic Call of Duty games.
If the exclusivity leaks are true, other information points to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered coming without multiplayer, just as the remaster for MW2 did. This is yet another disappointing piece of news for fans of the franchise.
The original Modern Warfare trilogy is often considered to have the best multiplayer in the series, at least if not always the most balanced, the most fun.
And when the original Modern Warfare was remastered it reviewed well, partly because it came with the multiplayer. It’s a shame that players are not able to enjoy the multiplayer from MW2 and MW3 in remastered glory.

Some new information about the upcoming remaster was shared by insider TheGamingRevolution , who gained notoriety for publishing truthful leaks on Call of Duty games. Not so long ago, he already leaked information about Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 Remastered to the network before their official presentations.
On his YouTube channel, an insider posted a new video in which he shared information about the updated campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
