Majula

Majula is the game’s central location. It is here that you take your first decisions, where you can buy your first items, upgrade your weapon and level up. Also, it is here that you can find the first two location where you can enter a covenant.

At the edge of the chasm, there is a bonfire and this is here where your start continuing your adventure. Next to the bonfire, there also is the Emerald Herald that you can level up and upgrade the Estus Flask with. On the right, on the elevation, there is a big monument, thanks to which you will check a very interesting statistic, i.e. how many you have died and how many times the other players in the world saw the YOU DIED caption displayed on their screens. It is here that you can also enter the Way Of Blue Covenant.

In this location, there also are four buildings. In the first one, you can find the Blacksmith Lenigrast, but to get to his smithy and be able to upgrade your weapons, you will need to obtain the key. You can buy it from Merchant Hag Meletia at Forest Of The Fallen Giants.

The next building is a bit ahead. At its right wall, under the makeshift tent, you can collect a Lifegem. Inside, there is a cat, named Sweet Shalquoir that you can buy rings from and find out which Covenant you are currently a member of. The cat has a very useful Silvercat Ring, which decreases, considerably, the damage that you take in battle.

Hit the stone

A bit ahead, you will find a villa but, to access it, you need to get the key, which can be obtained from the cartographer at the Forest Of The Fallen Giants. On the right side of the entrance, there is a well. If you hit the stone lying at its brim, you will be able to collect the Estus Shard. Once you are inside, you will be able to collect several useful items. In the first room, which is stacked with books, around the corner on the right, there is a corpse, on which there is a Human Effigy. After you reach the very bottom, you will have to fight a skeleton. It is a relatively easy opponent. You need to block its attacks and deal damage, after it finishes its sequence. It drops a Human Effigy. As you proceed ahead, you will find an Estus Shard and a chest, from which you can collect a Soul Vessel.

The only building to the left of the bonfire is the home of Maughlin The Armourer. from him, you can buy weapons and shields. It is a good idea to buy the Twin Dragon Greatshield here, because you will find it very useful in the future. Yu can also climb to the higher level and collect the Titanite Shard from the chest.

From Majula, you can go into five different directions:

• To the left of the bonfire, along the slope, you will reach the Forest Of The Fallen Giants
• On the left, there also is a mountain with two grottos in it. The first one will take you back to Things Betwixt
• A bit further ahead, you will find a passage to the Shaded Woods
• In the very center of the location, there is a big hole. To get inside, you need the Silvercat Ring or a very high amount of health points. You simply need to keep jumping down and land on bridges. This way, you will reach the Grave Of Saint.
• If you go to the right of the hole, you will notice stairs. The way leads to Heide’s Tower Of Flame.

The first location that you go to, from here, is the Forest Of The Fallen Giants.

Wonderful person, helped us a lot to enjoy our stay in Bentota. He met us at the airport and took us around the city in his own tuk-tuk, took us to the beach in the mornings and picked us up from the beach after lunch on a call!
He cooked delicious breakfasts himself and generally helped us with everything we asked him for. It rents bikes at very reasonable prices, and can also organize an excursion for you to any corner of the island.
The villa itself is very comfortable, large, well-groomed, there is a swimming pool on the territory. The wifi connection quality is excellent and very stable!
Two wonderful good-natured dogs are included in the villa! Thank you so much Majula!

From myself I want to add a couple of facts: 1. the adapter in the room for a European socket is a trifle, but nice, and you don’t need to look. 2. You have your own motorized transport, which can be rented without a deposit / deposit of documents. Machine condition is excellent
  P.s. Friends, carefully study the map before booking — this will help you avoid misunderstandings: the owners honestly warn that this accommodation is not on the ocean, but this is also reflected in the price. You will have to walk for 20 minutes

You can rent a bike from the owner, just carry helmets with you everywhere! There is also a tuk tuk. The hotel has a lot of greenery and a swimming pool. Very cozy and quiet! S&l Rest0097 +: Very hospitable and positive hosts. They organized a wonderful safari tour along the Bentota River for us. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. There is everything you need — adapters, kettle, refrigerator, fumigator, air conditioning, swimming pool. Clean bed linen and towels. Comfortable bed. We had an early check out, the owner cooked breakfast at 5am. The day before we bought fresh shrimp, the owner boiled them for us. On the day of arrival, we were greeted with freshly squeezed juice. They made delicious tea. There is parking for cars. I liked everything very much. Stayed two days before flying. Great location and the villa itself. Colombo airport 2 hours by highway. We definitely recommend.

+: Beautiful villa in the jungle. Very clean, daily cleaning. Clean pool. Wake up and fall asleep to the singing of birds, you can feel alone with nature. Very comfortable large bed, the presence of a fumigator, adapters for sockets. Pleasant, unobtrusive hosts. Delicious breakfasts. The price-quality ratio is perfect. Far from the beach, but the owner of the villa always helped us get to the right places. For a nominal fee, he took me by tuk-tuk. Always in touch and happy to help.

+: The villa exceeded all expectations. Wonderful and very hospitable hosts. The owner took to the sea and to eat, helped with everything he could. Tea was always served in the evening. Good breakfast, fresh fruit every day. Two dogs, brunduks and a lot of birds live in the villa, everything is very beautiful and cozy. We will miss you very much and will definitely be back. +: Everything! The main advantage of this place is the owner of the villa — Majula! A wonderful person, he helped us a lot to enjoy our stay in Bentota. He met us at the airport and drove around the city on his own tuk-tuk, took us to the beach in the mornings and picked us up from the beach after lunch on a call! He cooked delicious breakfasts and generally helped us with everything we asked him for. It rents bikes at very humane prices, and can also organize an excursion for you to any corner of the island. The villa itself is very comfortable, large, well-groomed, there is a swimming pool on the territory. The quality of the wifi connection is excellent and very stable!
