Video card connection via m2 | MiningClub.info

Hello. I connected the video card through the m2 connector, the usual green adapter, the 1050ti video card without additional power, the mother of the Biostar T250-BCE. The system booted up, but does not see this card, the other six work fine. The valves are spinning, the riser is working, the video card too. Tell me, please, where to look for the cause? Do I need to change something in the bios.

in the BIOS for this connector, only SATA mode can be enabled, then the video card will not work. It is necessary that the mode is PCI-E or Auto.

Thank you, kind person
Well, the author was already correctly advised about looking at the BIOS.
If this is not the case, then replace it with another of the same m2 (among such m2 there is a marriage (although I almost didn’t have it, maybe 1%)
And there was another case when it was necessary to connect m2 additional power… try it.

It is quite possible that you are not the only one who has this problem, but no one knows about it . .. You will have to check your risers.
And on the topic, the m2 adapter has a free play left-right somewhere around 0.5 mm. You need to see if the pins in the connector on the motherboard match the tracks on the adapter. In my case, a slight offset of the adapter solved the problem.

No, well, you know what’s the matter, on the back side of the board there can be bare voltage spots left after soldering, and if you touch them somewhere in the wrong place, you become very sad and without a motherboard. The contacts may not coincide slightly stupidly, again, you are sitting very sad. Well, let’s not forget about the sleepy Chinese syndrome.

Good afternoon, I ran into a problem on msi h370a pro when connected via m2 slot (7 cards) it does not see the video card, provided that the riser is enabled in the first x16 slot. When I turn off the first x16, then m2 sees the card. Gen I tried 4g enabled, there are no m2 slot settings, what could be the problem? (Raisers are working, since before the change of some components, all seven cards worked)

There is the same mother, she has been working since 2017, downloaded the mining bios from the official site.
There were troubles with m.2, but purely because of the connection, the paths are narrow, bad contact

And what settings did you do in addition to 4g and gen? Bios also already sewed different versions, and patched it, it does not help. Audio disabled all unnecessary ports too, I tried to disable the built-in does not help (

Duck, the point is not that it does not work, but that it does not work only when the card is connected to the first x16, if its riser is removed, then 6 cards are also determined, that is, m2 sees normally.

4g, and then only after installing the drivers, because if the first card is without a driver (and if it is sewn — without a patch), then Windows 10 does not load, a black screen. I thought that this mother is one of the most trouble-free.
There was also a Z270-A PRO, also without problems, right now, a neighbor with an i3-9100f after a coffee mod works with an rx 484.
Look on YouTube, there are guides on setting up this mother for mining on 7 cards, 9 pieces worked for me and the expander on it (6 red and 3 green)

Windows loads, everything is ok, the cards mine but only 6 pieces either the first one in x16 or I turn it off then in m2 and all seven don’t want to, there’s no point in watching the video (I’ve already reviewed everything, and I used to set up this mother and now after replacing I can’t set up the processor and flashing the BIOS) I’m already thinking of plugging the expander into 4 slots.
