Introduction

The HTC Vive controller grip buttons may be weak or faulty from extended use or from being dropped on its side. Use caution when removing the rubber tabs to avoid damage. This guide will show you how to replace the grip buttons.

   • To aid in removing the saucer cover, squeeze the base of the controller with your other hand, as shown in the second image of this step. Squeezing will make the clips easier to release and help prevent them from breaking.

   • Only separate the front panel around the edges. Do not try to completely remove the panel yet.

How does global ranking work? What are performance points? What are the numbers in my brackets? Why is my PP so small?

You can find your global ranking and PP on ScoreSaberopen in new window — here you can search for your name. Your ScoreSaber account is tied to your Steam / Oculus username.

1. Ranked songs are assigned PP (PP = performance points). The exact amount of PP gained is determined by the accuracy you finish a ranked song with. How much PP a ranked song is worth is determined by a secret algorithm developed by Umbranox, our Panda God. (x-1) where x is the position of that score on your song list. e.g. If your top play is a 260 PP play, you will be rewarded 260 weighted PP which is a 100% of the raw PP of that play. If your second top play is 247 raw PP, you will be rewarded 238 weighted PP which is the actual amount of PP you get after the curve applies. Here is a table to illustrate this system:

Improve Vive controller tracking

Your body may be blocking one lighthouse from seeing one of your controllers. Here are some steps that may help improve tracking.

1. Move into the corner of your playspace.
2. Rotate your body 45 degrees so that your lighthouses can see both controllers.
3. Rotate the room within Beat Saber’s settings to compensate, so that you appear facing forward within the game.

This can apply to Oculus sensors too.

Touch Controller Battery Disconnect

The force of your swings in Beat Saber can cause the spring in the touch controllers to compress and disconnect the battery for a brief moment. This is what happens when you see your saber lose positional tracking but still rotate in place. To alleviate this, ragesaq recommends adding extra springs inside the battery compartment to decrease the likelihood of battery disconnects happening, explained in this Reddit postopen in new window

Equipment without prior reservation is not issued!

If you take equipment from us for the first time, we ask you to fill out a customer questionnaire for an individual. Without a completed and approved application form, you cannot book, pick up equipment or order delivery.

Also, if you have a profile on VKontakte or Instagram, please add yourself to our group on VK or subscribe to the page on Instagram and indicate your profile in the questionnaire. This action is not mandatory, but greatly increases the positive outcome of your application for rent without collateral.

The questionnaire is considered within 24 hours. If you do not want to fill out and send your data and scans of your documents through the site, you can fill out the form in our office at any working time.

Upon approval of the questionnaire, an employee of our company will call you back and will be able to make a reservation. At the first conclusion of the contract, you are given a personalized (accumulative discount) card of the client.

Attention!

If you have been issued a personalized customer card, we will not be able to issue the equipment to you next time without presenting this card when picking up the equipment. Please don’t forget or lose your card. If you lose your card, your account will be blocked and you will have to go through the procedure of filling out and reviewing the questionnaire again.

Equipment order:

The minimum rental time is one shift (day). Shift — 24 hours (day). That is, if you pick up the equipment at 14:00 for one shift, then by 14:00 the next day you must return it and this will be considered one shift. If you do not hand over the equipment before 14:00, but hand it over, for example, at 19:00, then an additional shift is considered. The change is considered from the time for which you place the reservation, and not from the moment of the actual pickup.

Registration of equipment:

There are four possible options:

1. Issuance of equipment according to documents.
2. Issuance of equipment against a cash deposit.
3. Issuance of equipment on the security of your equipment.
4. Issuance of equipment on the recommendation and guarantee of our regular customers.

1. ISSUANCE OF EQUIPMENT ACCORDING TO DOCUMENTS.

1.1 Original Russian passport with registration in the territory of the Russian Federation. Temporary registration is not suitable. We return the original passport to you — we still have a scan of the main page and the registration page. We do the scan in the office.

1.2 Plus one of three documents:

A) passport

b) driver’s license

B) military ID

Any of these three documents of your choice. This one of the three documents (the original) remains with us as a pledge for the duration of the use of our property.

After the 3rd rental in our company — the second security document is not needed.

1.3 A standard contract is concluded.

All documents must be for one individual and the contract is drawn up for the same person.

2. ISSUANCE OF EQUIPMENT UNDER CASH collateral.

The cash deposit is calculated separately in each case, but as a rule, in the amount of 80% of the cost of new equipment. If you take equipment on a cash deposit, you also need to fill out a customer questionnaire, but the approval procedure is simplified.

3. PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT ON THE SECURITY OF YOUR EQUIPMENT.

It is always considered on an individual basis. About this type of deposit — inform in advance when booking.

4. ISSUANCE OF EQUIPMENT ON THE RECOMMENDATION AND GUARANTEE OF OUR LONG-TERM CUSTOMERS.

If you do not have the opportunity to take the equipment according to the previous three schemes, perhaps one of your friends is our regular client, whom we trust and can vouch for you. The guarantee and the volume of equipment under this guarantee are considered on an individual basis.

We do not issue equipment to persons under 18 years of age.

REGISTRATION FOR A LEGAL ENTITY

When drawing up an agreement for a legal entity, we ask you to fill out a client questionnaire for a legal entity or send your organization’s registration card with details and a scan of a signed power of attorney with the organization’s seal to the employee who will pick up the equipment to our [email protected] mail. Power of attorney template, you can download from this link. The employee must carry the original passport. We take a scan from your employee’s passport — please get his prior consent.

Attention!

DeLight Rent has the right to refuse to issue equipment to persons who take equipment from our company for the first time without giving reasons.

Terms of payment

Individuals can pay for the rental of equipment in cash or by credit card at our office when picking up or returning the equipment. For clients with outstanding debts, DeLight may refuse to issue equipment (including reserved equipment).

If you need to cancel or reschedule your rental, please call us no later than 24 hours before the confirmed pickup time. In case of cancellation or postponement later than 24 hours before the time of issue, a penalty of 50% of the cost of equipment rental per day is withheld. If you did not pick up the booked equipment without warning, a fine of 100% of the cost of equipment rental per day is withheld. In case of an earlier return from the booked one (a day or more), the corresponding part of the rent is returned to the Lessee for deducting the cost of 1 additional day of rent from the actual return time.

Our company works with legal entities ONLY on a prepaid basis. To pay by bank transfer, you must send an account card of your organization with details for invoicing. The invoice is issued on the basis of the order (booking). The money must be received before the equipment is collected.
