Graphics on the game were good. Animation style. Little repetitive with some of the fights. Story was decent. Side characters that follow you around are useless and serve no purpose in the game.

Awesome character design and other visuals. Gameplay is fun but repetitive. Overall, this beat-em up is not a must-buy but a game that is fun to pop in and spend a few hours with when you are looking for something with a low time investment.

Not the greatest game out there. The kid who sticks with you is annoying and for some reason he speaks with a British accent. The combat is extremely repetitive and bland so it leaves a bit to be desired. The controls are a little wonky, but the art style at the least is pretty cool. The voice acting isn’t the greatest either. It makes you feel like you’re watching a show meant for toddlers on Nick Jr. to be honest.

Like the movie before the game, it’s a pretty great spin-off of Sun Wukong’s adventure.
OK sure, the AI can actually get in your way when NOT fighting & the kid’s English (both English-British mix accent) voice is annoying at times, but if you look pass that it’s still a pretty great game; A TEENY TINY bit short (when not collecting stuff), but still great 🙂

Your typical movie game. The game could have been great, but falls short. Especially with the combat. Extremely sad for a game featuring the Monkey King. Unfortunately, typical for a game based on a movie.

This title is a PS4 exclusive and meant to be a big deal, aka a AAA title for the team who made it.
It is certainly not unfortunately and in my opinion cannot possibly command a full price point. Fans of the movie should be happy with some of the content but for the rest of us it is very much hit and miss. I do hope this does at least well enough that they can produce another, more well produced game as it did show promise but simply didn’t deliver.- All this publication’s reviews

I was very happy when the game was put on sale.
You can play the whole game in 10 hours or less. It is a very ordinary ACT game. The game is splitted by the scene changing.
The enemies are created based on some few models with different colors.

One of the most famous actors in the history of cinema came to Russia — the hero of «Terminator» and the former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He presented in Moscow a new film, Return of the Hero, and answered questions from Vesti FM columnist Anton Dolin.
The pause took ten years of a political career — successful, but, it seems, completed. The ex-governor of California and one of the most famous actors in the world, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is back in the lead role, and you can’t give him 65 years. The new film tells about the next impenetrable superman — an elderly sheriff of a tiny American town, alone opposing a gang of drug dealers. In the original it is called «The Last Stand» («The Last Frontier»), but in Russia it was dubbed «The Return of the Hero». And Schwarzenegger doesn’t mind at all: his character is exactly like that — a real hero:
«He is a dark horse, the viewer has yet to dive as deep as possible into his character in order to understand the essence: then the action hero that he once was will awaken. Of course, he has become older, almost retired. But he must return to duty again.Therefore, the title that came up in Russia fits the film perfectly: «Return of the Hero.
» and not a leather jacket, it is almost impossible to separate Schwarzenegger from his characters.Sitting a hundred meters from Red Square, Schwarzenegger recalls how he first appeared on it, at the height of perestroika, when Red Heat was filmed, and he played the role of policeman Ivan Danko:
«Then there were peculiar circumstances, today I would play the role differently! There is no more communism here, the political system has changed. In those days, we imagined a Russian police officer in this way. That was the scenario, and I enjoyed bringing it to life. And I was especially glad to shoot at least a few scenes right on Red Square!»
Schwarzenegger’s new film is not just a strong old-school action movie that will echo in the memory of Russians with inevitable nostalgia for the 80s, but also the Hollywood debut of Kim Ji Un, one of the most famous and talented modern Korean directors, the author of the sensational bloody thriller «I Saw the Devil» . Schwarzenegger is an emigrant himself, and foreigners rather than native Americans shot him in the best roles: Czech Ivan Reitman, Dutchman Paul Verhoeven, Canadian James Cameron.
