League of Legends ist ein sehr gutes online game, welches man auch sehr gut mit freunden spielen kann. Man spielt dafür einen von vielen zu wählenten champion mit bis zu 4 Teammitgliedern(also zu 5.) gegen andere Online gegner oder Bots. wobei ein spiel 20-60 minuten geht und man danach ein neues spiel mit einem anderen champion wählen kann.

Es wäre hilfreich gewesen, wenn Du genauer gesagt hättest, was Du suchst. Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Online-Games. Einerseits gibt es solche, die man auf seinen Computer installiert, um damit dann im Internet gegen andere Spieler zu spielen.
Typische Vertreter sind die kostenlosen Ego-Shooter Sauerbraten oder Warsow, die ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen kann. Vorausgesetzt, Du magst «Ballerspiele».
Andererseits gibt es die Browser-Games, die direkt im Webbrowser laufen. Meine Empfehlung dieser Art wäre «Plants vs. Zombies» («Planzen gegen Zombies»).
Die meisten dieser Browser-Games sind in der Basisversion kostenlos.

MOSCOW (Reuters) — Russian media holding RBC has begun working in a new direction for gaming services and plans to take it by the end 2008, 10 percent of the Russian Internet games market, relying on subscription and advertising revenue, the company said.
According to expert estimates, the volume of the local online games market in 2007 will be $60-80 million.
At the same time, analysts and market participants notice the rapid growth of the Russian games market on the World Wide Web — from 50 to 100 percent per year.
RBC’s first project was the browser-based multiplayer game Incarnation (www.incarnation.ru).
Its business model is based on the “free to play” principle: access to the online game is free for all users registered on the site, who can buy additional features in the game. The game allows participants to direct the actions of the hero, and then his heirs in a fantasy world.
Games at RBC are handled by a specially created department within the Media Mir subsidiary, whose tasks include publishing, producing and localizing massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs), as well as developing and distributing their own products.
The company expects that by the end of 2008 the game will attract more than 400,000 users, and its revenue from the second half of the year will reach about $150,000-300,000 per month.
The company declined to name the projected revenue volume for the whole of 2008.
RBC’s revenue in the third quarter of 2007 was $48.4 million.
Media World promises users “a lot of games”.
“Depending on the product, we plan to use a mixed gaming revenue model combining subscription, free to play and ad sales, and by the end of 2008 we expect to have a 10% share of the Russian market”, — said Mikhail Gurevich, CEO of Media World.
ALL PLAY, FEW PAY
In early December, the merger was announced by four players in the Russian multiplayer online games market, the giants Nival Online and NIKITA, as well as the smaller IT Territory and TimeZero.Online, which formed the Astrum Online Entertainment holding. The holding announced control of 45% of the Russian market and plans to increase this share to 65% by the end of 2008.
At an online conference organized by finam.ru in October, IT Territory experts estimated the size of the Russian online games market in 2007 at $50-60 million, the bulk of which is Russian browser projects.
