Gold Saucer Hub — Final Fantasy XIV
1.
The Manderville Gold Saucer
Founded by the master Goldsmith Godbert Manderville, The Manderville Gold Saucer
is Eorzea’s premiere vacation attraction. Located in Southern Thanalan, it is an
amusement park with a Cactuar, Senor Sabotender, as its mascot.
2.
Overview
The Manderville Gold Saucer, referred to as the Gold Saucer, is a theme park
in FFXIV filled with activities and mini-games. No attraction in the Saucer
requires gil. Instead, the entire park has its own currency, which is used to
participate in and is rewarded from attractions.
This currency can also be traded in for rewards at various vendors.
2.1.
How to Unlock the Gold Saucer
To unlock the Gold Saucer, players must have finished their envoy quest in the
Main Scenario: either «The Gridanian Envoy,» «The Ul’dahn Envoy,» or «The Lominsan
Envoy.» This unlocks the quest «It Could Happen to You» from the NPC Well-heeled
Youth in Ul’dah — Steps of Nald (x9, y9). This quest will take you on an airship
bound for the Gold Saucer, where the subsequent quest «World of Wonders» will
explain the Gold Saucer to you and show you around.
Furthermore, the various attractions in the Gold Saucer are unlocked by
completing quests in the Gold Saucer. These have been left out for brevity, but
note that any blue quest marker in the Gold Saucer will unlock something new
for you.
Remember to attune to the main Aetheryte in the Gold Saucer to teleport back
at any time! If you did not attune and have left the Gold Saucer, you can return
at any point by using the airships located in the three major cities.
2.2.
Manderville Gold Saucer Points
As stated previously, there are no attractions in the Gold Saucer that require
gil. Instead, any game that requires payment uses
Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP), and all attractions reward MGP. However,
players with less than 500 MGP can exchange gil for MGP to get started. The
MGP requirement differs from attraction to attraction, and MGP can be traded for
various cosmetic rewards. You can view your
MGP in the Gold Saucer menu, as well as in your currencies tab.
MGP can be rewarded from activities outside of the Gold Saucer as well, from
content such as Wondrous Tails or the Challenge Log! Your current MGP can be
viewed in the Currency menu. To learn more about currencies such as MGP, visit
our currencies guide.

Attractions
The Gold Saucer is host to many different attractions, some of which can be
accessed outside of the Gold Saucer. Many of these attractions have their own
systems and are large in scope, so head to their respective pages to learn more!
3.1.
Chocobo Racing
Chocobo Racing is a Mario Kart-esque racing mini-game where players race with
specially bred chocobos against seven other players or NPCs on three different
racetracks. Players can breed chocobos to suit their needs, participate in
racing challenges, and become the ultimate jockey! To learn more about Chocobo
Racing, visit our guide below.

Triple Triad
Originally making its appearance in Final Fantasy VIII, Triple Triad is a unique
card game that has been reintroduced in FFXIV as a major attraction! Players can
battle NPCs to receive cards or participate in matches against each other in a
casual or tournament setting. Winners of tournaments receive the rarest cards, along
with a ton of MGP. In addition, collecting all the cards rewards players with a
unique title and mount. To learn more about Triple Triad, visit our special page below.

Lord of Verminion
Lord of Verminion is an RTS-like mini-game based on the hit Japanese arcade
game, Lord of Vermilion. In Lord of Verminion, or LoV, players summon and
control their legion of minions to battle with an opponent’s minions in order
to seize control of the battlefield and shatter the opponent’s structures. It
can be played against NPCs in a series of challenges, as well as against other players
in tournaments, which reward a ton of MGP! To learn more about Lord of Verminion,
take a look at our Lord of Verminion guide.

3.4.
Doman Mahjong
FFXIV boasts one of the most popular online venues of Japanese Riichi Mahjong
in the Doman Mahjong attraction. Doman Mahjong is a tile-based game of skill,
strategy, and above all, luck, where players are pitted against NPCs or three
other players to form ordered hands out of tiles. This game mode has gained
significant popularity from its myriad appearances in anime and manga.
3.5.
Fashion Report
The Fashion Report, hosted by the mysterious Masked Rose, is a weekly challenge
where players dress up to a theme and present their glamour to be judged. The
Fashion Report is one of the best sources of weekly MGP. To learn more about
how to be the most fashionable Eorzean, visit our Fashion Report guide!

3.6.
Cactpot
The Cactpot is a game of chance and a great source of MGP… if the player
is lucky enough, that is. There are two different Cactpots: the Mini Cactpot,
which can be done daily, and the Jumbo Cactpot, which is a weekly lottery event.
3.6.1.
Mini-Cactpot
The Mini Cactpot is a daily scratch ticket lottery that allows players to purchase
tickets and reveal numbers on them for MGP. Each ticket contains a 3×3
grid of numbers from one to nine, with one number already revealed. Players must
reveal three other numbers before selecting a line. The sum of the numbers in
the line selected will determine the amount of MGP the player receives. Players
can purchase up to three tickets per day.
To unlock the Mini Cactpot, players must complete the quest «Scratch It Rich»
from the Mini Cactpot Broker in the Gold Saucer (x5, y6).
3.6.2.
Jumbo Cactpot
The Jumbo Cactpot is a weekly lottery where players can purchase tickets with
four selectable numbers from 0 to 9. Players can purchase up to three tickets
per week. Each week, there will be a drawing that takes place in the Gold Saucer.
The more tickets that are sold that week, the greater the prize. In the drawing,
numbers are revealed from last to first, and the more numbers that your tickets
match, the more MGP you win. If all the numbers on your ticket match the draw,
you win an enormous sum of MGP as well as the Mad Bird Ring!
To unlock the Jumbo Cactpot, players must complete the quest «Hitting the Cactpot»
from the Jumbo Cactpot Broker in the Gold Saucer (x8, y5).
3.7.
GATEs
GATEs, which stands for Gold Saucer Active Time Events, are attractions where
the player plays a vital part in the show. When participating in GATEs, players
must complete mini-game objectives that reward a sum of MGP when completed correctly.
For example, in the GATE The Slice is Right, players must dodge falling bamboo
stalks on a stage in rounds with increasing difficulty. GATEs will occur every
twenty minutes, with one of three possible events chosen at random.
Time | Option 1 | Option 2 | Option 3 |
---|---|---|---|
Hourly | Cliffhanger | Air Force One | Leap of Faith (Belah’dia) |
20 minutes past the hour | Any Way the Wind Blows | The Slice is Right | Leap of Faith (Nym) |
40 minutes past the hour | Air Force One | Any Way the Wind Blows | Leap of Faith (Nym) |
3. 7.1.
Cliffhanger
Players must rescue a stranded Chocobo chick at the top of a rocky structure.
Players will have to run and jump across the perilous structure while goblins
drop bombs along the path! If players are knocked off, they must restart from
the beginning.
3.7.2.
Air Force One
Players must board the Air Force One and destroy as many targets as possible
by shooting them. Players will receive MGP based on their results, with up to
5000 MGP for a perfect score.
3.7.3.
Any Way the Wind Blows
Players enter a stage and find a spot to stand. After a while, Typhon will
appear and cast Snort on various locations on the stage, knocking players off.
Players that were lucky enough to not be knocked off in the end will receive
MGP!
3.7.4.
The Slice is Right
Similar to Any Way the Wind Blows, players enter a stage and find a spot to
stand. Yojimbo will appear along with bamboo stalks, and he will cut them,
causing them to fall. Players must dodge falling bamboo stalks and collect
rewards from gold piles in order to win!
3.7.5.
Leap of Faith
Leap of Faith is a jump puzzle with two distinct maps — The Fall of Belah’dia
and the Falling City of Nym. In both maps, players must make successful jumps
from platform to platform while collecting cactuar trophies. If the player
reaches the goal, they are rewarded with MGP, with additional MGP
rewarded based on how many trophies were collected. Players can continue to
collect trophies after they reach the goal point.
3.8.
Mini-games
There are a myriad of mini-games in the Gold Saucer. These are simple games that
cost and reward small amounts of MGP. They can be found across the Gold
Saucer in various locations.
4.
Rewards
The primary function of MGP is to be exchanged for cosmetic rewards at various
vendors throughout the Gold Saucer. Vendors sell items such as unique hairstyles,
mounts, minions, and glamours. Most vendors are located at the Main Counter in
Entrance Square, but there are other specialized vendors — for example, the
Triple Triad Trader in Card Square will sell unique Triple Triad cards. We’ve
listed all the main rewards from the Prize Claim NPC below, but there are other
rewards you can get with MGP as well!

Requirements to Unlock the Gold Saucer
You can unlock the Gold Saucer when you reach level 15 in any class if you
have completed one of the following quests:
- The Ul’dahn Envoy
- The Gridanian Envoy
- The Lominsan Envoy
Where to Unlock the Gold Saucer
Go to Ul’dah and go southeast from the Ul’dah Aetheryte Plaza. You will
find a Well-Heeled Youth with a blue quest icon over his head. Talk to him to
begin the quest «It Could Happen to You».
Use an aetheryte to go to the Airship Landing. If the Airship Landing is not
unlocked in your list of destinations, go southeast from the Ul’dah Aetheryte
Plaza to reach the Ruby Road Exchange, and go south in that area to find a
Lift Operator. Talk to him and ride the lift to the Airship Landing. (Be sure
to attune to all of the aethernet shards in Ul’dah when you get a chance,
to unlock Airship Landing as a destination.)
At the Airship Landing, talk to Elyenora and hand over the golden airship
ticket from the Key Items section of your inventory, then say Yes to go to
the Gold Saucer.
World of Wonders
When you arrive at the Gold Saucer, the Airship Ticket will have a blue quest
icon. Talk to him to accept the quest «World of Wonders». As you do the quest,
you will go through the different areas of the Gold Saucer. Be sure to attune
to all of the aetheryte shards, and the main Aetheryte, while you do this quest.
You should also accept all of the blue quests you see as you go through the area.
How to Go Back to the Gold Saucer
If you leave the Gold Saucer, you can return to the Gold Saucer via
the Airship Landings in cities. Just talk to the Airship Ticketer and choose
Gold Saucer as your destination. It’s free. You can also teleport there if
you attuned to the main Aetheryte of the Gold Saucer.
Using the Gold Saucer for Free Travel to the Three Cities
Airship travel to the Gold Saucer is free, and airship travel from the Gold
Saucer to Ul’dah is also free.
To make the most of this, set Gridania or Limsa Lominsa
as your Home Point
(check on the city’s main Aetheryte to do so), and set the other of the
two as your free
destination (which you can do if
you set up a Security Token, which is
strongly recommended). Then you can go to Gridania and Limsa for free,
and use the Airship Landing there to go to the Gold Saucer, and from the Gold
Saucer you can go to Ul’dah for free.

how to get the nier pod mount — guides and game reviews
Nier’s 602 pod mount was added with the FFXIV 6. 1 patch. Players need to complete a full series of raids and have a large amount of MGP.
Patch 6.1 for Final Fantasy XIV added a new mount, related to Nier , in the form of Pod 602. This mount can be purchased by those who completed the full version of Nier. raid series in Shadowbringers . However, players will also need Manderville Gold Saucer Points to actually purchase the Pod 602.
Pod The Nier functions just like other mounts. It gives increased speed, flight and swimming despite its small size. He even plays his own special track, the Weight of the World remix, combined with fanfare from the Final Fantasy franchise.
Pod 602 requires completion of the third add-on Final Fantasy XIV , Shadowbringers , players can start purchasing the required currency at any time. This means that even players of the Free Trial of Final Fantasy XIV can accumulate MGP in advance and trade it for a mount. The Gold Plate has many other rewards, so it may take some discipline to not waste your MGP.
Unlocking the Nier vendor in Final Fantasy XIV
To access the vendor that sells Pod 602, Players must complete a level 80 Nier Raid Series at the very end of Shadowbringers . As of patch 6.1, players over level 90 don’t have much incentive to replay these raids; better equipment and experience points can be obtained elsewhere. Rather than rely solely on the Duty Finder, first-timers may want to form a full 24-man ready party through their Free Company or use the Squad Finder.
Required Quests and Fights
Please note that additional weekly epilogue quests FFXIV are not required for Pod 602. 8.7
Puppet Bunker: Raid, minimum item level 465
Gathering MGP in Final Fantasy XIV
After completing all of the above quests Golden Saucer The
Mini Cactpot
Three Mini Cacpot scratch cards. in Final Fantasy XIV can be collected in Miracle Square every day. A line of three numbers can bring from 36 to 10,000 MGP, depending on their total amount. Six is the best result, consisting of a single line containing 1, 2, and 3; 24 is also good to line up with 7, 8 and 9. A good strategy is to always erase the center number followed by the two ordinal directions and the last cardinal direction on the opposite side. For example, if someone scratches the Northwest, he must also scratch the Southwest and East. Then draw a line through both numbers, which will most likely give 6 or 24.
Somehow Pot Jumbo
Potty Somehow Jumbo collects everyone who contributes into a pot and then distributes it among the different levels of winners. The more participants take part, the bigger the prize fund. This could lead to some lucky Final Fantasy XIV players earning millions of MGP in one go. Even consolation prizes will be pure profit compared to entry fees of 100-200 MGP. Drawings are completed every Saturday at approximately 6:00 PM local time at the server’s physical location — Sacramento, Frankfurt, Tokyo, or Sydney. Tickets not collected by the time of the next draw will be cancelled.
Weekly competition magazine
Let’s talk about the secrets and tricks that you can use in games to your advantage. And also about useful and interesting stories in video games.
There are many entries in the test log for MGP. Some of them involve just a few games, while others require a certain number of wins or MGP earned in a particular game. These include arcade mini-games, time gates, triple triad matches, chocobo races in Final Fantasy XIV ., Doman Mahjong and Lords of Verminion. Each task usually brings between 1,000 and 12,000 MGP.
Wondrous Tails
Players who complete Heavensward will be able to collect Wonderous Tail Books from Chloe from Idyllshire. This will challenge players to complete certain dungeons, raids, challenges, treasure hunts, and PvP matches. Many players will have similar books in Final Fantasy XIV ., making it much easier to match when looking for duties or finding parties. Even better, such content can be made out of sync for credit. This can allow the team to easily go through old fights, although at Endwalker does not have this option.
Each time a dungeon is cleared, a random sticker will be applied in a four by four grid for a total of nine stickers. Stickers can be shuffled at seven or below, but they will be attached when there are eight. If the stickers line up four in a row, Chloe will offer a set of prizes. One full line costs 30,000 MGP; two lines 100,000 MGP; and three full lines of 1,000,000 MGP.
