We take these violations seriously. Please report content violations.
Create High-Quality Work
Do your best work. Iterate quickly and often. Use the WIP (Work in Progress) flag to safely release your content for early feedback. Always be updating and improving your work. The more mods you create, the better and faster your skills will improve. The best Modders in the community have a wide breadth of content under their belt.
Best Practices for Sharing Mods on Bethesda. net
- Upload screenshots and box art for your Mod. Box Art dimensions are 260×260. Screenshot dimensions are 1315×740.
- Be descriptive in naming your mod and in your mod description.
- Keep the latest updates, news and known issues at the TOP of the description field so users see that information first.
- Avoid generic names.
- Create a website for your Mod! Treat it like your Mod’s marketing product page.
- Use social media to publicize your mods.
Examples of why Mods are removed:
- Do not upload a mod without box art, screenshots or a description.
- Do not upload mods or mods taking content from other mods unless you have permission from the creator.
- Do not upload mods using third-party content (licensed properties, content from other games, and other trademarked properties). This includes using assets from other Bethesda games.
- Do not create mods that allow users to circumvent the need to purchase add-on content.

It makes mod management quite easy, with most Fallout 4 mods doing a great job of making themselves pretty compatible with this platform. However, players who download way too many mods will be quite aware of the fact that MCM can take a while to load and apply new settings for mods.
Players who don’t want these delays to impact their gameplay too much will have a great time with the MCM Booster mod. It’s a simple and intuitive way to hasten the process of going through the MCM menus without getting too frustrated with lengthy load times and the like.
