F1 22 takes another step forward and surpasses everything we saw in the previous game, better graphics level and new modes to improve the experience. Codemasters and EA Sports have put their best into this game. I can say that F1 22 is one of the most outstanding racing games that have been released this year.

For Formula One fans, it’s easier than ever to recommend F1 22. Significant changes have been made here to not only keep the game up to date, but also more immersive, more expansive and more fun. The only real disappointment is F1 Life, which feels a like a good idea in principle but very poorly executed. And of course, the lack of a story mode will be a let-down to some, too. Ultimately, F1 22 takes a couple of steps forward and couple back, but where it matters – in its gameplay and stellar career mode – it’s still very much at the front of the pack.

Despite poorly thought-out innovations, Codemaster’s F1 series continues to offer a great overall racing game package.

F1 2022 is a simulator with a straight objective. Clearly, Codemasters decided to bet on what it does best and abandon some interesting features for the casual player, in exchange for possibilities and seriousness whose appeal to enthusiasts makes the game a must-have Formula 1 fans.

With prettier graphics and notably improved physics, F1 22 impresses right out of the gate. Last year’s enjoyable story mode is unfortunately gone, and instead we get to play F1 star with luxury watches and clumsy supercars. What a downgrade. Fortunately, the presentation, the career mode and not least the driving experience are better than ever.

The F1 series is starting to look more and more like FIFA. Bright colours, hip music and the first contours of what could become F1UT. This year I’m still meeting Codemasters (Codematsers!), but they have to counteract that EA nonsense. Just ask Lewis Hamilton how quickly things can go differently, in F1…

F1 22 is technically stunning, and that, combined with the chance to drive this year’s cars on this year’s tracks, should make it irresistible to Formula One fans. As long as they manage to ignore the egregious F1 Life.

MyTeam and MyDriver offer some fun racing, decision making and complexity especially with Department Events and Pit Crew Errors. Visuals remain solid but are similar to last years game. New commentators bolster the already strong audio design. Track designs feel great and sprint races offer some variety. Adaptive AI feels good. Extensive accessibility options allow anyone to just jump in and play.Bad-
Bugs and glitches happen a lot. F1 Life feels tacked on and meant only for microtransactions (think FUT and MUT). Limited livery and boring character customization. Only one new track was added to the game and that feels cheap. Supercars do not really expand or add upon the already established formula.Thoughts-
F1 22 is a great entry point to the series for newcomers with lots of accessibility features and fun racing, albeit in a much more serious environment that demands precision and practice. For veterans, it comes down to whether you’ll enjoy the new handling and suspension, the redesigned cars, the new presentation features, and so on. F1 Life feels inconsequential as a whole, less like a central showcase of this year’s edition and more like a gimmick.Overall, this year’s edition feels like a pit stop rather than the next big step for Codemasters’ franchise (which could be next year, according to rumors). It’s another good Formula 1 racing title, one that will tide you over in many places and leave you wanting in others.… Expand

After patch 1.07, In my team mode, after 5 races, I have encountered ZERO Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car even there were incidents on the track (with settings of INCREASED safety car frequency).
Also the AI have been much more overpowered in overall speed and seems like they did not suffer any pace loss from tire degradation at all.
And sometimes in the race, when I press the radio button, it didn’t have any response and need to restart the game to resolve it.
F1 22 is a piece of horrible and unbalanced junk, surely the worst game I have ever brought in my life.… Expand

Also micro transactions… micro transactions… micro transactions… EA logic: can’t open player packs like fifa? Don’t worry about it! Let’s charge them to buy couch and jeans.
