Nintendo has announced that it will not be coming to E3 2023 . The show does not fit into the company’s plans for this year . Media outlets have previously claimed that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo will not be participating in the event.

The Japanese publisher has confirmed their absence from E3 with the following statement :

“We approach our participation in any event on a case by case basis and always consider different ways to interact with our fans. Since E3 didn’t fit into our plans this year, we decided not to participate. However, we have been and remain strong supporters of E3 and its organizers ESA. »

Insiders say that instead of participating in E3 2023, the Japanese platform holder will hold its own presentation this summer with announcements and shows. So should Sony .

It was previously reported that Ubisoft will take part in E3 2023 with the «powerful line» .

The press service of Nintendo of America has officially announced that the head of the company Satoru Iwata (Satoru Iwata) will not visit the exhibition E3 2014, which will be held next week in Los Angeles.

The reason lies in the poor health of the president of Nintendo, the doctors advised him to refrain from long flights in the near future, which could harm his health.

A Nintendo spokesperson added that Iwata will continue to serve as president of Nintendo and make E3-related announcements while staying in Japan.
