Divinity Original Sin 2 Launches September 14, 2017

Highly-anticipated PC game Divinity Original Sin 2 from Larian Studios is coming this fall.
Today, Belgian developer Larian Studios announced that the highly-atncipated Divinity Orignal Sin sequel — appropriately titled Divinity Original Sin 2 — is set to launch on PC on September 14, 2017.
Originally supposed to launch in late 2016, Divinity Original Sin 2, as you may know, is a Kickstarter-funded sequel that smashed its $500,000 USD goal: raising over 2 million across more than 42,000 backers.
According to Larian Studios, the game is much larger than its predecessor, «giving players tabletop RPG-like freedom to complete quests and explore a world like no other.» Further, the game promises a darker and more expansive story, set a thousands years after the orignal. In it, you play as renegade user of forbidden magic and will decide who will be the next god of Rivellon and what that god will do with its powers.
The game features five playable races; a new tag system that lets players shape the background and motivations of their characters, from noble elven cannibals to swarthy dwarven outlaws, choice driven quests, relationship building; the ability to go anywhere and kill anyone, 4-player co-op, and of course tactical combat.

In a world where the Gods are dead, you play a wielder of forbidden magic, quarantined in the prison colony of Fort Joy. The Magisters of the Divine Order want to «cure» you of your powers.
