Easter Egg: The Island from Lost:
---------------------------------
In the northwest corner of the map is an island separated from the mainland by a fair
stretch of water. If you fly over this island in any plane you'll automatically crash.
On the island you can find numerous references to Lost, including plane wreckage of
Oceanic Flight 815, familiar settings like the stream. You'll hear sounds of the Smoke
Monster as you explore too. There's even a hatch to be found!
Easy money:

You will be awarded $20,000 each time a race is completed. Any race can be repeated as
desired, allowing the $20,000 to be won again.
Bubble gun:
-----------
To find a bubble gun, go to coordinates: X4249, Y25990.
Hot air balloon:
----------------
Go to coordinates X7392, Y16151. You can ride the balloon by shooting off the sandbags.
I Am Legend reference:
----------------------
Go to coordinates X18207, Y21543 to find a chair and desk at the end of a
pier, similar to the scene in "I Am Legend".
Happy Bubble Blaster:
---------------------
At these coordinates you'll find a tower in the middle of some cherry blossom
trees. Use your grappling hook to get up into the tower and you'll find the
Happy Bubble Blaster weapon on the table. You can equip it and spray bubbles
on your enemies! Note that it doesn't do any damage but will still provoke
the guards.
Whale Easter Egg:

At the bottom right of the map on the Selatan Archipelago near X:29601 Y:31301
there is an enormous beached whale on the shore. Blowing the whale up with the
timed explosive will reveal an armor part in the belly of the whale.
This is most likely a reference to the classic news video of a beached whale
being blown up with explosives.
Safe freefall landings without parachutes:

You do not need to use a parachute while free falling. Grapple the ground
when you are close to safely land, regardless of the distance that you fell.

Easy stunt points:

Drive a fast car or motorcycle on a highway or long road. Dodge traffic while in
the correct lane, or drive in the middle of the road and speed.
Controlling Vehicles in Stunt Position:
---------------------------------------
While in stunt position on a land vehicle it is possible to control the direction
that the vehicle goes in by moving the left stick in the direction you would like.
This is not stated in any of the games manuals or tutorials, and is likely to not
be found by most players. This doesn't work on air vehicles.
Quick Stunt Points:
------------------
1.Get a fast car or motorcycle and get on a highway or long road. Drive on the side
of the highway you're supposed to be on, dodge traffic or stay in the middle of
the lane and just speed and Stunt Points should come in really fast.
2.Go to the Panau Int. Airport and get the sports car at the entrance and drive it
to a runway. Once a plane appears, go into the stunt position and use the grappling
hook to attach the car to the plane. Once this is done, enter the car. The plane
takes off with car in tow. The points begin to rack up quickly. As long as you
don't release the grapple from the plane your car will just fly along with the
plane.
Billboard Antics:

Approach any billboard with Bay Panay onit and grapple directly on to the face.
Press action and Rico will draw glasses and a mustache on the board.

At the entrance of Panau International Airport, get the sports car, drive it to a runway,
and wait for a plane to appear. Go into stunt position, and attach the car to the plane
with the grappling hook. Enter the car, and the plane will take off with the car in tow.
You will accrue stunt points quickly as long as the grapple is not released.
Drive a fast car or motorcycle on a highway or long road while dodging traffic in the
correct lane.
Alternately, drive as fast as possible down the middle of the road.
Sniper Scope Glitch:
--------------------
Use a sniper rifle. Scope in like normal, and while you are still scoped in, make a call
to the black market dealer. Purchase a sniper rifle. When you leave the market, you will
find yourself viewing the game through the scoped third-person perspective.

Makes you wonder what the score is
truer, right?
No, it doesn’t.
First, what kind of venality are we talking about?
Did Phil Fish buy about 50 press reviews?
Rather, it’s just stupid to climb into the section of «user» ratings, because it is
there and only there are such reviews as:
— If this game was made for the sake of ‘artistic expression’, then
we already have that with good gameplay in EVE Online. Glad I
didn’t spend money on this crap. 0 out of 10.
— Now normally a game like this wouldn’t get a 1/10 from me but
after hearing that the game has been in development for 5 years, i
can’t help but wonder what this guy has been doing all this
time.
— Loved the game for about 30 mins then my save file was corrupted.
Started again and this time after about an hour the same thing
happened. Third time it only took about 40 mins. Tried once more
a few weeks ago and got about 45 minutes into it. Great idea, gameplay
and music but completely broken. 0 out of 10.
And these are just flowers.
That is, well, it’s just ridiculous to rely on the assessment in reasoning,
which is spoiled by reviews of this kind, they say, «hey,
guys, this game crashed for me in 10 minutes — 0 out of 10!! 1» or
«The game is OK, but it took a long time to create — 1 out of 10.
»
Metacritic can give just the same adequate assessment, with
provided that your eyes are on the Critic Reviews section, but in
in rare cases, it is «truthful» in the right column.
It is possible to foam at the mouth (figuratively) about the corruption of the press, but this
doesn’t quite work in cases like this.
Speaking of CoD.
From the press, just the same, this series has not received for a long time
maximum score.
And the same Advanced Warfare, with all its advantages, in general, has in
average 75-80 points.
Moreover, this is not about the assessment itself, but about the objectivity of the score within the framework of
reviews. And when, after a lot of analysis from IGN, you see 91 of
100 there is absolutely no feeling that something is wrong.
But when some fool puts 0 out of 100 on unknown
reasons (plus, greatly exaggerating their indignation), immediately
you know — let me read «purchased» articles than similar
emissions.
And the last thing I would like to add.
About «undeserved».
What kind of idiocy is this?
What kind of undeservedness are we talking about?
The author of the review here, after a short discussion, came to
obvious conclusion — once even among authoritative assessment resources
can be so strikingly different (from a niche project to a «game
year»), it is obvious that the game is simply for an amateur; and the author
reviews simply were not among those.
Read the same review from Destructoid. 100 out of 100 but consistent
mentions that the game is graphically disgusting
that she’s weird, clumsy, and that the acting is so bad that
close to ideal.
And in the end, all this also results in such a simple thing as
«different gaming experience» (which is also interspersed with different
views/values/thoughts/other).
So it turns out that FEZ found more fans, and Deadly
Premonition… he found his fans too.
Plus, FEZ is still a game with history, expectations and personality
behind her; long-term construction and bright representative of Xbox Live Arcade on
moment of exit; beautiful style, pleasant soundtrack and
idea.
And there is also a movie about the creation of this game.
In general, it is ridiculous to make such comparisons (it’s like comparing
Wolfenstein The New Order with Unit 13, although this happens).
Eeeee last. Who are these people who didn’t buy Deadly Premonition because of
reviews on this site? One? Maybe two people?
Again, it should be understood that if a person reads in full
various kinds of reviews, articles, watching trailers and watching
gaming industry, then this is just a unique case, if such
a person will draw a conclusion based on one or two reviews, nothing more
without knowing the game.
All the same, there is such a thing as «personal opinion». And worth it
understand that when reading various kinds of reviews you need to understand
that a completely different person and different «eyes» looked at the game.
This is one of the reasons why anyone interested in gaming
industry, a person sooner or later finds certain publications or
certain personalities in particular, to whose / whose opinions begins
listen in connection with the similarity of views / tastes.
Well, buddy, you don’t have to try to be so objective.
This is my purely subjective opinion.
