How many players does Battlefield 3 support in co-op?

2 Players are Supported in the Co-Op Campaign

Can I play couch co-op or split-screen in Battlefield 3?

No, only online play is supported.

Can I play via a LAN or System Link?

No, co-op play is only supported online.

Can I play the single player game in co-op?

No, the cooperative mode is a separate campaign of individual missions.

How many missions are there in co-op?

There are six missions playable on three difficulty levels.

How do I access the co-op mode on the Xbox 360?

The co-op mode can be started from disc 1.

How come some missions are greyed out?

You must complete the previous one or two required missions to move forward.  You can complete these on any difficulty you’d like.  In co-op you can only play a mission if both players have unlocked the required missions.

Does Battlelog keep stats for co-op?

While not as in depth as the competitive multiplayer, some stats are tracked in co-op including: Kills, Headshots, Assists, Vehicle Kills, Savior Killls, Revives and Avenger Kills.  It also tracks co-op score and progress towards unlocks.

What can I unlock by playing co-op?

There are 9 guns to unlock that are then usable in the competitive multiplayer aspect.  You’ll need to play through the co-op campaign numerous times to unlock enough points to earn all the weapons.  For instance I’ve played every co-op mission 3 times (some more) and I’ve just unlocked the third weapon.

Solved: Can’t play Battlefield 3 PC COOP

August 2015

I can not connect to random players to play the coop missions but I can connect just fine to multiplayer servers and play all day. I’m not happy that coop is this broken. I liked playing it on other consoles but this is a let down on pc. Any help is appreciated.

There is no issue with the game. It is simply due to the fact that not a whole lot of people play BF3 CO-OP anymore, and if they do, they have a friend they are playing with, and do not need to do the public matchmaking. Before replying, I checked on my own and sat trying to find players for quite a while. It is not like Multiplayer in which a good amount of people still play. Maybe try joining some multiplayer matches and talk in the Chat Hud and ask if people are interested in playing some Co-Op with you and adding you on Origin.

Hello,

Is it possible for you to play CO-OP with a friend?

Maybe it’s due to the fact that most of the players don’t play the CO-OP Mode anymore. I would suggest to give it another try at different daytimes.

Cheers
