The Sims 4 Zodiac Challenge Rules:

How to start:

Your main objective is to complete all 12 generations and play as all of the zodiac signs. However, you will have to follow the exact order of the signs starting from Aquarius. Keep in mind that your sim’s gender doesn’t matter at all.

  1. Create your first sim, who is an Aquarius, in CAS and set them to young adult. The traits you choose for them should be according to their zodiac sign. But, we will discuss that further down the post.
  2. You are free to choose your sim’s aspiration. But, choosing one that matches their sign is extra points!
  3. Move your sim to the biggest lot possible and bulldoze it.
  4. Find a compatible spouse.
  5. Have children.
  6. It doesn’t matter whether your generation’s heir is male or female. However, they need to match at least 2 traits of the next zodiac sign.

The basic rules:

Here are the basic rules that you’ll have to follow to complete the challenge.

  • No cheating. However, you can do so to fix your game.
  • Your sims’ lifespan must be on normal.
  • You can’t use mods that give you any kind of advantage. But, you can use them as long as they are purely cosmetic.
  • If it can save your sim from dying, you can’t do or use it.
  • You can age up your sims using a birthday cake if their birthday is coming up.

Compatibility: Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

The Sims 4 Apocalypse Challenge — SNOOTYSIMS

Welcome to The Sims 4 Apocalypse Challenge!

There is no doubt that The Sims 4 Apocalypse Challenge is the hardest and most complex challenge around. But, fear not, we are here to break it down as much as we can. Your sim has a task. They have to create a legacy that will complete every career tree there is. That’s because every career tree will lift a restriction. But, one sim can only “complete” one career tree, any extras don’t count for the challenge. The score is the number of days it took you to lift all of the restrictions. So, the lower your score’s number, the better.

So let’s check out the rules.

The Sims 4 Apocalypse Challenge Rules:

How to start:

This challenge has tons of restrictions in place at the start. But don’t let that put you off! We promise you that it gets easier. Here’s how you can set up your apocalypse game:

  1. First, choose your starting sim. They can be of any age. Keep in mind that you are allowed to import a sim as a first one.
  2. Then, move your Sim into an empty lot and make them quit their job. If they have one, that is.
  3. Choose which restriction you want to lift first.

The way that your sim is going to live is entirely up to you. All you have to do is make sure that they pass on their legacy once they die.

The basic rules:

The basic rules are very simple. They are always in effect and can never be lifted. That means that you will have to follow them throughout the challenge.

  1. No cheats, custom content, or mods.
  2. You can’t age up your sims early.
  3. You can’t adopt sims. If you did so, it would give you an unfair advantage.
  4. Play on normal lifespans.
  5. You have to keep your Apocalypse family in the world. You also can’t move them to a new lot or house.

Careers and restrictions:

As we said before, there are restrictions in place that are only unlocked by completing career trees. Teen careers are included as well! Let’s see what completing a career can offer you.

Astronaut – Space Ranger

Objects must be covered by four walls and your sims can’t sleep outside. You also can’t travel to Granite Falls. Your sims also can’t interact with the sky (telescope, stargaze, etc.). Plus, you can’t enable the mood aura on any kind of object.

Astronaut – Interstellar Smuggler

You can’t sell, place, or use any career reward objects. You also can’t upgrade any items except the rocket ship.

Athlete – Professional Athlete

Your sims can’t have any reward traits.

Athlete – Bodybuilder

You can’t move or sell any objects that are larger than 1×1 once you place them. Your sims can’t carry more than one stack of each item in their inventory. Plus, you can’t remove any items from your family inventory.

Where can I find the rest of the rules?

You can find the rest of the career restrictions here. We hope that you enjoyed this challenge! It is definitely very complex, but you can’t deny that it will make you spend hours having fun with it. Plus, we are sure that you are going to get a great feeling of satisfaction once you complete it.

How to complete The Sims 4 Decade Challenge

Trial of the Decade in The Sim 4 is a well-known complex and detailed way to play. Here’s a breakdown of what the challenge is, how to get started, and what you need to play the challenge.

What is the Challenge of Decades in The Sims 4?

The purpose of the Decade Challenge is to preserve the Sims’ lineage from the 1890s to the present day, while respecting the rules and restrictions of that era. Your Sims must dress, live and work according to their era. Many players love this challenge because it gives you a unique approach to Sims 4 gameplay.0003

What are the rules for the Sims 4 Decade Challenge?

The Sims 4 Decades Challenge has quite a few rules, and they can be very specific. Please note that as long as you do not state that you are running an official challenge in any capacity (such as streaming gameplay to Twitch or YouTube), you are free to modify these rules as you please to make the challenge fun and accessible to you.

A complete set of links that will give you detailed examples broken down by decade can be found on the CuteCoffeeGal blog dedicated to this task. These rules are helpful when you are in the process of completing this challenge, but they can be extremely difficult at first. Here are the rules you need to know to get started:

  • You must start with either a single Young Adult Sim or a married couple of Young Adult Sims . You can start with the parent of one of your young adult sims to live in the house with, but they don’t count towards the total number of sims in your bloodline.
  • Keep CAS clothing in general corresponding to the era of . You should make sure your Sim looks as close to the era they live in as possible, though you don’t always have to be smart. Don’t worry, for example, if your Sim is wearing an 1870s dress for 1890-s. On the other hand, don’t dress your 1910s Sim in jeans and a sweater.
  • The same applies to electronics and household appliances . If a Sim is required to use inappropriate technology, such as a mobile phone, you should limit this and use that technology only when absolutely necessary.
  • If you are married, you must live in the house, not in apartment . Use only your starting funds and do not use cheats. You must also allow your Sim to have a decade-appropriate job (e.g. no astronauts at 1920s).
  • Use the 1890s and 1900s offline lot trait if you want to prevent your Sims from accidentally using technology on your lot.
  • You should set your Sims’ aging to Normal Lifespan before 1950 and then to Long Lifespan after 1950 . Ideally, you would manually age your Sims based on this lifespan, but you can also let the automatic settings do it if it gets too tedious.
  • During times of war (e.g. World War I in the 1910s) use Cowplant to create a random chance of a summoned Sim dying.

Looking for DLC or custom content for The Sims 4 Challenge of the Decades?

You not need custom content or any additional downloadable content besides the base game to complete The Decade Challenge . That being said, having some game packs or user-generated content can help you dive into the challenge more easily. For example, the Moschino set can really add some 80s style to your game. You can only play The Sims 4 base game, but you need to be more creative about how you envision each decade.

The Sims 4 — What Parents Need to Know

Things to Watch Out for

Content is generally appropriate for children aged 12 and over. However, there are certain things to watch out for:

Violence

Violence is limited to «slapstick» or cartoon humor. However, characters can be electrocuted by a plug, die in a kitchen fire, or be crushed by a rollaway bed, among other deaths. Therefore, it may not be suitable for very young children.

Nudity and sexual content

Players can force Sims to have sex («woo-hoo» in Simlish), which happens under sheets or in other hidden places, so nudity is not displayed. Characters are censored when they use the bathroom or are seen in their underwear.

In-app purchase

If your credit card information is saved in your EA app or other account you use to play The Sims 4, it’s very easy to purchase expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs and packs without having to always confirm purchase information. Be sure to set spending and control limits where possible.

Custom content and mods

Independent creators develop additional Create-A-Sim (CAS) or build mode elements and game features that are not regulated by The Sims 4. This content is free and very easy to add to the game.

While some of this content includes different hair styles or furniture, other modifications include «realistic» gameplay. This realism may include nudity, drugs, violence, and other activities inappropriate for younger players. Custom content and mods are not available on the console version of the game.

Other Sims games

Since its inception, The Sims has had four game titles, five spin-offs, and two mobile versions. Many of these are still available and played by The Sims fans and have similar content warnings to The Sims 4. 2 is the third installment that competes more with The Sims 4. When The Sims 4 came out, a lot of people didn’t like the restrictions, so they stuck with The Sims 3. It’s available. for purchase on Steam, and SimPoints are available for additional purchase. These points are used to buy additional items for the game.

The Sims Medieval

Unlike other games in The Sims franchise, The Sims Medieval takes players and their royal Sims on quests with a specific storyline. It was released in 2011 and has one Pirates and Nobles expansion pack. The gameplay is completely different and may appeal to those who are not fans of The Sims. The Sims Medieval does not require any other Sims games.

The Sims Freeplay

Released in 2011, this lifestyle mobile game is still popular and updated regularly.
