Du möchtest deinen Lieblings-Shooter auf der PlayStation 4 lieber mit Maus und Tastatur spielen, schneller Chatten oder einfach nur gemütlich vom Sofa aus durchs Web zu surfen? Die Steuerung der PlayStation mit Maus und Tastatur hat viele Vorzüge. Beim Kauf der passenden Geräte gibt es jedoch einiges zu beachten. So ist zum Beispiel nicht jedes PlayStation-Spiel für die Steuerung mit Maus und Tastatur angepasst. Hier erfährst du wie es trotzdem klappt und was du dafür brauchst.
Welche Tastaturen sind mit der PS4 kompatibel?
Prinzipiell kannst du fast jede Tastatur mit deiner PlayStation verbinden. Ganz egal ob USB- oder Bluetooth-Tastatur *. Auch drahtlose Tastaturen mit USB-Dongle wie die Tastaturen von Logitech * sind kein Problem.
Doch Achtung: Nicht jedes Spiel lässt sich anstelle eines Controllers auch mit Maus und Tastatur steuern. Dies liegt jedoch nicht an der jeweiligen Maus oder Tastatur und auch nicht an der PlayStation, sondern am jeweiligen Spiel. Dieses muss speziell für die Steuerung mit Tastatur angepasst sein.
Wie Tastatur mit PS4 verbinden?
Das Verbinden einer Tastatur mit der PlayStation ist sehr einfach:
USB-Tastatur anschließen
Das Anschließen einer USB-Tastatur an die PlayStation ist kein Problem. Die Tastatur kann einfach per USB-Kabel oder USB-Dongle mit der PS4 verbunden werden und los geht’s. Nach eingesteckter Tastatur sollte sich die Benutzeroberfläche der PlayStation direkt per Tastatur bedienen lassen.
Bluetooth-Tastatur verbinden
Zum Verbinden einer Bluetooth-Tastatur müsst ihr wie folgt vorgehen:
- Tastatur einschalten und in den Kopplungsmodus versetzen. Wie dieser Modus aktiviert wird ist jedoch von Tastatur zu Tastatur unterschiedlich. Weißt du nicht, wie es geht, schaue am besten in der Bedienungsanleitung nach.
- In der Benutzeroberfläche der PS4 zu Einstellungen wechseln. Dort zum Punkt „Geräte“ navigieren und anschließend „Bluetooth-Geräte“ auswählen.
- Hat alles funktioniert, taucht die Tastatur dort als Eintrag auf. Wähle sie aus, um die Verbindung herzustellen.
Unter dem Menüpunkt „Externe Tastatur“ können anschließend einige Einstellungen der Tastatur, wie das Tastenlayout oder die Sprache, gesetzt werden.
Mit Maus und Tastatur spielen
Möchtest du die Maus und Tastatur auch zum Spielen verwenden, gibt es einiges zu beachten. Das Spielen mit Maus und Tastatur verschafft deutliche Vorteile beim Spielen. Gerade in Shootern wie Fortnite lässt sich mit Maus und Tastatur präziser zielen und schneller bauen. Aber nicht jedes PS4-Game erlaubt die Tastatursteuerung.
Spiele wie Fortnite, Final Fantasy, Paragon oder DC Universe Online unterstützen die Tastatursteuerung von Haus aus. Andere Spiele sind jedoch nicht für Maus und Tastatur ausgelegt. Mit zusätzlicher Hardware lässt sich jedoch auch hier mit Maus und Tastatur spielen.
So gibt es einerseits spezielle Tastaturen, die explizit für die PS4 entwickelt wurden.
Diese geben sich für die PlayStation als gewöhnlicher Controller aus. Andererseits gibt es auch Adapter-Lösungen, mit denen sich beliebige Tastaturen mit der PlayStation verbinden lassen. Mit diesen Hardware-Tricks lässt sich die Beschränkung auf Controller-Steuerung einfach umgehen.
Spezielle PS4-Tastatur
Der Tactical Assault Commander Pro (T.A.C. Pro) ist eine moderne Gamer-Tastatur speziell für die PS4. Die Tastatur ist speziell für die Ein-Hand-Bedienung konzipiert und ermöglicht die WASD-Steuerung. Zusätzlich bietet sie auch alle Tasten, die von dem regulären PS4-Controller angeboten werden. So stehen insgesamt 20 mechanische Tasten zur Verfügung und auch ein Touchpad und Analog-Stick fehlen nicht. Er ist gewissermaßen der große Bruder des T.A.C. Grip und speziell für Action-Spiele und Ego-Shooter optimiert. Mit der zugehörigen T.A.C.-Software können die Tasten frei programmiert werden.
Zusätzlich bietet der T.A.C. eine USB-Maus. Diese bietet eine anpassbare Abtastauflösung von 800 bis 3200 dpi, sowie zwei Daumentasten und zwei Triggertasten.

Der große Vorteil liegt darin, dass sich der T.A.C. bei der PlayStation als normaler Controller ausgibt. So können Spiele die nicht für die Tastatursteuerung angepasst wurden trotzdem komfortabel gespielt werden.
PS4-Tastatur-Adapter & -Konverter
Wer lieber mit einer klassischen Gaming-Tastatur spielen möchte, benötigt einen Tastatur-Adapter beziehungsweise Konverter. Dieser wird zwischen Eingabegerät und PlayStation gesteckt und emuliert ebenfalls den PS4-Controller.
Nach erfolgreichem Verbinden, können die Tasten des PS4-Controllers auf die Maus und Tastatur gelegt werden. Dabei lassen sich für verschiedene Spiele und Anwendungsfälle unterschiedliche Profile anlegen.
XIM Apex
Der XIM Apex * ist der Nachfolger des weit verbreiteten XIM 4. Der Konverter ist deutlich kompakter als der Vorgänger und bietet alles was man zum zocken mit Maus und Tastatur benötigt.

Da kommt es aber auch dann auf die unterstütze Hardware (also welche Maus und Tastatur) drauf an. Da solltest du dich genau auf der Hersteller-Seite informieren.
Einfach so ne Maus und ne Tastatur anschliessen geht hingegen aber leider nicht.
Es würde auch noch mit ner speziellen Tastatur gehen, aber die kostet noch etwas mehr:

Ja manche spiele unterstützen dass. zB Final Fantasy a realm reborn. Einfach anstecken per usb port und los gehts.

XIM4 auf der PS4 funktioniert bei mir mit Battlefield und Call of Duty perfekt.

Freunde von mir und ich selber hatten zu beginn (PS3) das gleiche Problem. Habe Splitfish, Frag FX und alles mögliche getestet — damals war die Hardware aber noch schlechter als heute. Hauptproblem war die Verzögerung und das handling.
Vor ca. 1,5 Jahren haben wir dann das Xim 4 zum ersten mal getestet und das lief schon sehr gut mit BF4.
Die Konfiguration war etwas aufwändiger…

Ich habe heute versucht meine Maus und Tastatur an die PS4 anzuschließen. Dabei habe ich die Maus und die Tastatur an die PS4 angschlossen wie unten auf dem Bild.
