These less expensive headphones also support Βluetooth connections, so you can play music or chat from your phone and hear game audio at the same time. They have a long, more than 30-hour continuous battery life and recharge quickly, in less than 2 hours. If the battery dies at the wrong time, you can always use them passively with the cable that’s included.Their sound adds a touch of extra thump and punch to your audio to bring out sound effects like footsteps and explosions in games. Because of the underemphasized treble, voices and instruments in the soundtrack seem veiled and lack a bit of detail out-of-the-box. Though the ANC isn’t as good as some of the best noise-canceling headphones, it keeps you focused on the game rather than the distractions around you. There’s also some fantastic spatial audio onboard, so it’s easy to hear enemies lurking in the bushes or helicopters flying overhead. And you can make some next-level customizations to the EQ setting and game chat mix with Sonar and the SteelSeries GG app – good luck going back to your ordinary headphones for anything but listening to podcasts or the news.
