If you’re looking to enhance your dinosaur survival adventure, do it with Ark cheats. Ark: Survival Evolved is a sandbox, after all, so you might as well play around in it. Ark cheats let you enter all sorts of console commands to enable god mode, level up instantly, teleport, spawn items, instantly tame dinosaurs, unlock all the engrams, and more.
Ark cheats are primarily used in singleplayer mode, but you can also use them in multiplayer if you’re the server admin or if you’ve been given access to the server admin password. Below you’ll find cheats for Ark the base game, and some for Ark: Genesis that will work with the new dinosaurs and items added in Ark’s latest expansion.
You can access the console in Ark by pressing the Tab key—you’ll see a narrow box open at the very bottom of your screen. That’s where you’ll be typing in the cheats. To close the console, press Tab again.
In singleplayer mode, just type the cheats to enable them. In multiplayer, if you have the admin password, you’ll need to type ‘EnableCheats <password>’ before you can use cheats. Some cheats (while playing on a server) will require the prefix ‘admincheat’. In singleplayer, you don’t need to worry about a prefix. Just type them and press Enter.
The cheats are written in bold below (and they’re not case-sensitive).
Ark cheats: Player commands
God — Toggles godmode, protects you from all damage (except drowning)
InfiniteStats — Refills health, stamina, oxygen, food, and water
GMBuff — Godmode plus infinitestats and additional experience points
EnemyInvisible — All creatures ignore you, even when attacked
LeaveMeAlone — Combines the cheats God, InfiniteStats and EnemyInvisible
ChangeSize <value> — Changes your size by this multiplier, the default value is 1
Fly — Lets you fly.
Use ‘Walk’ to disable
Ghost — Activates noclip mode. Use ‘Walk’ to disable
GiveEngrams — Unlocks all crafting recipes
GiveEngramsTekOnly — Gives you all Tek engrams
GiveColors — Gives you a quantity of each dye
DoTame — Tames targeted dinosaur (if it’s tamable)
ForceTame — Tames targeted dino, and dino is rideable even without saddle
ForceTameAOE <Radius> — Tames dinos in specified radius (default is 2000)

GiveArmorSet <Tier> <Quality> — Gives you full armor set for the specified tier and equips it
Armor tiers options can be entered as a number or word, as follows:
0 (or Cloth)
1 (or Chitin)

Teleport — Moves you forward until you collide with something

Ark cheats: Creative mode
Creative Mode removes weight restrictions and crafting requirements, unlocks all engrams, and grants godmore and infinitestats.
Also lets you toggle flight by double-tapping your jump key.
GiveCreativeMode — Sets you in creative mode
GiveCreativeModeToTarget — Toggles creative mode for players you are targeting

Ark admin commands – the best cheat codes
Ark admin commands and cheats are the secret to making the world of Ark a less terrifying place. With all those dinosaurs running unchecked, you may find that your quest to chop down trees is being too often interrupted by velociraptors. If this is the case, then perhaps you need to adjust your game by entering some codes into the game’s console.
They aren’t strictly cheats, but Ark admin commands do change the game to allow you access to things you wouldn’t usually have. You can boost your experience points, instantly tame a dinosaur, add an item to your inventory, or even destroy every dinosaur in the land, simply by using a code word.
Just type them in, tap enter, and hack the world as if it’s the Matrix.

Enable Cheats

Enables server administrator commands for the player. Password required will be the server password. Example: enablecheats pass123
Enable Cheats for Player, Mount, & World
setcheatplayer “true/false”
Enables cheat commands that affect the current player, mounted dinosaur, and game world.
Add Experience Points
admincheat addexperience <amount> 0 <share>
Adds a number of experience points to the player, or to be shared with the tribe. Replace <amount> with how much XP required, and set <share> to 1 for player only, or 0 to share with tribe.
Add to Whitelist

Adds a player to the server whitelist.
Remove from Whitelist

Add an Item to Inventory

Adds a specified item to the player’s inventory. ItemID will be a number specific to the item, quantity and quality will also be numeric values. <blueprint> can either be ‘true’ (for a constructed item) or ‘false’ (for just the blueprint).

Time Speed

Sets the speed of the passage of time on the server. <Factor> is a multiplier, so ‘1’ is normal, ‘2’ is twice the speed, and ‘0.5’ is half speed.

How do you enter Ark: Survival Evolved admin commands?
To use an Ark admin command, you’ll first need to open the console. This can be done by pressing the TAB key. If this doesn’t work, you’ll need to make a quick adjustment in the game’s .ini file. Head to:
Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Config\DefaultInput.ini
Open DefaultInput.ini with Word Pad or similar. Scroll to the bottom of the document to find the line “+ConsoleKeys=Tab”.
In front of the line will be a semi-colon (;). Delete this, save the .ini file, and the console should now work in-game.
Many commands will require the ‘Enable Cheats’ command to be used beforehand, as well as the ‘Enable Cheats for Player’ command. Be sure to use these before attempting to use other commands.

Ark: Survival Evolved Cheats: All the Ark Console Commands Needed to Dominate Dinosaurs

They take the form of Ark console commands, and the good news is that, in addition to PC players, those using PS4 and Xbox One can also use most of these codes. From activating God Mode to bringing in useful items and dinosaurs, there are many ways these Ark cheats can greatly improve your chances of survival, or just let you tinker and have fun.
To open the console to enter these Ark console commands, you must press the following key or button combinations:
- PC — Tab key (also works when using the keyboard and mouse on the console)
- PS4 — L1, R1, square and triangle
- Xbox One — LB, RB, X and Y
This will give you a small bar along the bottom of the screen to enter the Ark cheats you want to use. When you’re done, just press the same key or button combination again to close the console.
These cheats should work «as is» in single player, but in multiplayer you will need to enter EnableCheats [Password] first with the admin password and then may need to prefix admincheat if you are playing on a server.

This custom map won the first worldwide Ark mod contest and is a wonderful piece of art that community creators can release for free. Valhalla contains about three times as much land as the standard Ark map and supports everything Ark does: all mods, all dinosaurs, and shredding. Basically, if you want to keep playing Ark but want a change of scenery and find new places to build, fight, and survive, Valhalla is Ark, but newer and better. This might be a refreshing start for players who have already spent years on the original Arka Island.

Unlike other island mods, Thieves Island doesn’t try to overwhelm you with its scale and size: it’s about half the size of vanilla Ark Island. It is densely filled with caves, underground tunnels, floating islands, and the ruins of a once mighty pirate lair and sunken shipwrecks. For a new map experience that’s smaller and more in depth, Thieves Island is a good place to wake up naked and start fresh.

It’s a tough world for a leech. You squint while making your leech and the highlight of your day is grabbing onto something covered in blood and hopefully getting away with it.
Play as Dino, bringing the survival game to the point of absurdity, allowing you to play as a dinosaur on Arka Island. If you have ever watched from the bushes how flocks of dinosaurs tear each other apart, you know that the life of a dinosaur is only slightly worse than that of a person. You can play as land, air and sea dinosaurs, explore the world, eat, mate and be eaten by someone bigger than you. You can also play as a useless fish, a dragonfly, or a leech if you like that for some reason.

Primitive Plus has been so popular in the Ark community for so long that the developers have made it an official free DLC. There is a good reason for this: this mod is great. It adds a lot of depth and complexity to Ark’s primitive technology and removes all the sci-fi high-tech electronics and various bloated nonsense. The result is a well-thought-out, well-balanced game focused on survival in a primitive world with primitive technology.
If you’re really working on it, you can upgrade your technology to black powder muskets, but that’s about as advanced as it gets.
In my opinion, this is the game that Ark himself should have been in all the time. It’s so good.

But enough about Pokemon, everyone, let’s talk about Ark. Pokemon mods have been a natural fit for Ark for years, and the best example that works right now is Pokemon Evolved. If you like these iconic cartoon critters, this mod allows you to replace dinosaurs with Squirtle, Bulbasaur and more. Take a pokeball instead of a hunting ball and collect them all.

Like Primitive Plus, this mod limits the sci-fi and high-tech parts of Ark to focus on the low-tech survival part.
Unlike Primitive, Survival devotes a lot of time to the little things of survival: sleep and exhaustion, hunger and cooking, hot and cold. This mod is best played on a big server full of people, as survival itself can be pretty harrowing. After all, that is why people formed tribes.
Survival of the Fittest

We’re all set, we’ve got a lot of attempts to uncover the main idea of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. «Survival of the Fittest» may be a remix of an increasingly common theme, but it’s still a great way to spend time on the Ark. This mode supports 72 players at the same time as they hit an island filled with loot and a shrinking play area, and the last team standing wins the game. However, unlike PUBG, you can theoretically tame a T-Rex and use it to fight your way to the finish line, which sounds pretty cool.
