Worst remaster ever
To begin with Warcraft 3 Reforged was hyped with lots of broken promises.
They said there was going to be over 4 hours of new in game cutscenes and cinematics, we only got about 4 minutes and it was bad.
Promised overall changes to the story to give characters like Jaina a bigger role, nothing delivered.
Lots of new bugs introduced such as color bug from skills like Crypt Lord impale or main hall upgrade, eventually you don’t what what is what as all colors gets mixed, enemy even gets your color.
Instant defeat upon start, characters in campaign suddenly turning invisible.
Does not look near what it showed back in 2018, instead we get much uglier animation. On top of that they are just standing still. Old cut scenes were more alive.
For a while Blizzard actively banned anyone asking or trying to help others get a refund, but now you will get a refund upon request. (always something)
Merged itself with the old Warcraft so not only was it a game of broken promises, but killed an old classic I loved to this day.
The irony is that this version is essentially just a re skin that they demand 30 dollars (or 40 for extras) and it is ugly.
The animation was outsourced which could explain why the characters does not have the Blizzard look.
Also it is now hard to differ the characters, like ghouls and skeletons or footmen and knights are too similar. Also they did add a lot more upon death sounds but again making it too similar so you don’t know what is what. Because of that most pro players uses old animation. Not even the professionals can tell what is what with the new animation. Better still Thorzain got disconnected twice in an offline tournament vs Moon .
With the new update as of 28 January it took away custom maps folder.
On top of that with the new user agreement they now claim 100% ownership of all maps including moral rights meaning you won’t even get the credit for any maps that you make. As a result lots of map makers has stopped working on their custom maps.
Could go on and on, but his game has the lowest score of any game on metacritic for a reason

Warcraft 3 is, without exaggeration, a cult game that has had a huge impact on the entire genre — real time strategy.

The game itself was released in 2002 and instantly gained immense popularity among numerous gamers. Not surprisingly, just a year later, the release of The Frozen Throne add-on (Ice Throne) took place, which also instantly fell in love with gamers.
It’s understandable — who doesn’t want to stand at the head of a powerful faction and start a bloody war between mages and the undead, the Orc Horde and the human Alliance.
Help! The game was nominated for the «Best Strategy of 2002» award, but never received it — according to critics, the plot twists were too unpredictable.
System requirements, how long does the whole process take? A 400 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM are enough. Yes, and you need the most undemanding video card.
In general, when playing Warcraft 3, the passage of the campaign takes from 16 to 27 hours, depending on how carefully the player examines the game world.
But in the WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne add-on, the passage takes a little less time — from 16 to 22 hours.
The game is a strategy, not a quest, there are no special secrets and difficult puzzles. But still, it is worth giving a few tips that will greatly facilitate the passage of the Warcraft III game.

From Kel-Thuzad, freed from death, Arthas learns of the coming of the Burning Legion and that he has been chosen by the Lich King to fight them. It remains only to summon Archimonde, who will destroy Dalaran.
This is interesting! Arthas subsequently becomes one of the main characters in the World of Warcraft multiplayer game. However, many other Warcraft III characters will also appear there.
Orc campaign. Invasion of Kalimdor
Orcs land in different parts of the coast and are forced to look for each other, fighting off numerous enemies.
Thrall will have to find Cairn and save his party from the centaurs. Next, the confrontation with the ancient elven demigod — Cenarius will begin.
He destroys half of the enemies, but the demon Mannoroth defiles the well, which strengthens the orcs. New bloodthirsty creatures destroy Cenarius, but become slaves of Mannoroth. Over time, Grom will be able to finish him off, but he himself dies heroically.
Night elf campaign. End of Eternity
The Burning Legion is destroying the elven lands. Priestess Tyrande must awaken the ancient druid Malfurion and then free his brother Illidan. The latter meets Arthas, from whom he learns that the demons have a powerful artifact — the skull of Guldan, which poisons the lands of the elves.
Having reached him, Illidan turns out to be a slave of the artifact and kills Tichondrius, after which he is expelled from the clan.
However, the Horde and Alliance work together to keep the demons at bay, and the night elves set a trap to finish off the chaos demons.
They also destroy Archimonde, ending the enemy invasion.
This is where the original game ends.

Alas, peace and prosperity did not reign in Azeroth for long. War never leaves these lands for long — too many different peoples inhabit them.
Guardian campaign. Horror from the Deep
The main character is the hunter Maiev, who for a long time guarded the dungeon with imprisoned Illidan. And after he was released and killed his brother, Maiev decides to send him back to jail. But he did not waste time and received reliable support — an army of satyrs who sailed from across the ocean.
The heroine is accompanied by Malfurion and Tyrande.
Alas, over time, Maeve decides to go to meanness and deceives Malfurion, stating that Tyrande died in battle. An enraged druid throws troops into battle against Illidan and disrupts the ritual he is performing with the help of an ancient artifact.
Malfurion, learning that Tyrande is alive, sets out to find her. Meanwhile, Illidan saves her from the undead. Grateful Malfurion lets him go, and the bloodthirsty elf leaves Azeroth through the portal. Maiev, along with an army of assistants, follows him into the unknown.
Alliance campaign. Curse of the Avengers
Play as elves. They lost many of their own in previous battles and were renamed after them, calling themselves the Blood Elves. They need a new source of strength to recover from their losses. For support, they have to unite with the army of Lordaeron.
Together, humans and elves save Dalaran and destroy the Scourge in its vicinity. Alas, at the last moment the allies withdraw their forces, because of which the elves almost die.
Unexpected allies help them — Lady Vashj has brought the nagas together to destroy the undead. After that, she also offers the elves an extremely risky operation — to go to another world to help Illidan. And they give their consent.
Help! Heroes in Warcraft III are quite balanced, and even if at first it seems that one is much cooler than the other, later the player realizes his mistake.
Undead campaign. Lord of Darkness
Arthas becomes king of Lordaeron and destroys the three brothers. The living population is completely destroyed thanks to Kel-Thuzad and Sylvanas. However, due to the weakening of the Lich King, Arthas himself also loses some of his strength. Then he decides to go to Northrend, leaving Kel-Thuzad behind.
Also, the weakening of the Lich King led to the fact that Sylvanas gained free will and creates her own group of Undead. With renewed strength, she lays siege to the capital of Lordaeron and destroys Detheroc.
To achieve her goal, Sylvanas calls on Marshal Garithos as an ally. However, having dealt with the enemy, she also kills the marshal.

Arthas meets Illidan in battle, gains the upper hand and rushes to the Frozen Throne.
