Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal, an add-on to Warcraft II released in 1996 by Blizzard Entertainment. The game and the add-on were released for PCs, Macintosh PCs and PlayStation and Sega Saturn consoles.
The story of the addict, tells the story of the war in Draenor. The action begins with the events of the first part of Tides of Darkness. This portal was destroyed and people in Azeroth celebrate the triumph over a horde of orcs. However, the idyll does not last long. Orc forces unite Ner’zhul and are preparing for another offensive on Azeroth …

«Warcraft» — 2 points out of 10. Review of «The Executioner» | The Executioner
Every time I go to see a movie based on the game, I hope that this time it will work, and I will finally see a picture that you do not forget about when you leave the cinema.
Games movies that have already been released are bad in many ways. Directors usually don’t give a damn that a movie is based on some game: they regard the title as a label that draws additional attention to the film. It also happens that it’s just done lousy (Uwe Boll).
Some films are even watchable (Resident Evil, Final Fantasy), but do not cause much enthusiasm. Before «Warcraft» there was not a single film on the game, which I would like to give a rating of «Good». And then came Warcraft. At the end credits, I even said: «Good.» And he continued: «It’s good that it’s over.» Warcraft had every chance to break the curse, to become a landmark film. And he became one of the worst.
There hasn’t been so much hype about a movie release for a long time. The marketing department is a big plus, but this movie is just not worth watching.
Here is a beautiful graphics, but the most banal plot and flat characters. The script is very much lacking in information content, and the characters lack personal dialogues.
The world of «Warcraft» does not come to life on the screen, it is impossible to believe in it. The characters do not talk like real people, their lines seem to be copied from quest dialogues.
The creators are embarrassed to show events that go beyond the main storyline, which is described in a couple of sentences.
The bottom line is this: good orcs, whose world is dying, are invading the prosperous world of people led by the evil leader Gul’Dan, who uses dark blood magic. There is too much good in Warcraft, and the evil side is represented by only two characters, Gul’Dan and Sargeras (the second is on the screen for exactly fifteen seconds).
There are also a lot of plot holes — there are questions that the film does not answer. Who is Sargeras? Why is he helping Khadgar? How did Medivh become evil? One of the orcs, for unknown reasons, changes the side for which he fights three times.
