WoW: Zandalari-Trolle freischalten — Mit dieser Quest geht’s
Die Zandalari-Trolle in World of Warcraft sind endlich spielbar. Die Quest hat ein paar düstere Überraschungen…
Seit Patch 8.1.5 können die Spieler von World of Warcraft endlich neue Verbündete Völker freischalten. Die Questreihe zur Freischaltung der Zandalari-Trolle geht relativ fix. Wir verraten euch, was dort geschieht und welche Auswirkungen die Quest auf die ganze Horde hat.
Update: Der Artikel erschien ursprünglich im Jahr 2019. Wir haben ihn im Oktober 2020 mit den neusten Infos zu Patch 9.0 aktualisiert.
Voraussetzungen für die Quest: Die Voraussetzungen für den Start der Quest dürften die meisten Spieler bereits haben. Man benötigt:
- einen Charakter (Horde) auf Level 50
- Abschluss der Kriegskampagne bis einschließlich “Wogen der Rache”
Die Quest spielt direkt nach den Ereignissen der Schlacht von Dazar’alor. Der König Rastakhan wurde von den Streitkräften der Allianz erschlagen. Der dunkle Pakt mit dem Loa des Todes, Bwonsamdi, ist auf die Troll-Prinzessin Talanji übergegangen. Sie soll sich als neue Herrscherin nun ihrem Volk zeigen und in die Fußstapfen ihres Vaters treten. Dabei steht sie allerdings vor einigen Problemen. Der Spieler muss ihr helfen.
Aufstand unter den Trollen: Um gekrönt zu werden, muss Talanji sich mehreren Prüfungen unterziehen. Dabei passiert sie viele Bereiche der Stadt und wird immer wieder beschimpft. Viele Trolle lehnen sie und ihren Bund mit Bwonsamdi ab. Niemals würden sie dem Loa des Todes dienen wollen, der für Vernichtung und Zerstörung stünde. Bwonsamdi dürfe man nicht über andere Loa erheben.
Schon bald fällt jedoch auf, dass diese Aufstände offenbar gelenkt und absichtlich herbeigeführt wurden. Die Spieler müssen herausfinden, wer dahintersteckt, bevor die Rituale für die Krönungszeremonie fortgeführt werden.

Die Prüfungen der Loa: Im Anschluss muss Talanji mehrere Prüfungen unterschiedlicher Loa bestehen. Das sind im Grunde kleine Minispiele, bei denen die Spieler helfen. So wird man von Krag’wa etwa in eine Fliege verwandelt und muss hungrigen Fröschen ausweichen. Bei der Prüfung von Pa’ku muss Talanji eine Treppe erklimmen, während sie von mächtigen Stürmen genau daran gehindert wird.

Bwonsamdi will einen Kopf: In der letzten Prüfung soll Talanji jemanden umbringen. Bwonsamdi verlangt den Kopf von Sylvanas Windläufer. Jedoch weigert sich Talanji und beharrt darauf, dass dies ehrenlos wäre. Bwonsamdi wirkt zwar kurzzeitig enttäuscht, sieht die Prüfung aber dennoch als bestanden an und erlaubt es Talanji, die Krone zu ergreifen.
Bwonsamdi will einen speziellen Elfenkopf …
Die
Questreihe endet damit, dass Talanji Sylvanas zu sich ruft, um das
Bündnis zu besprechen. Sylvanas zeigt sich dabei ein bisschen
arrogant, stimmt einem Pakt als „Gleichberechtigte“ allerdings
zu. Von dort an ist das Imperium von Zandalar ein offizieller
Verbündeter der Horde.
Mit
der Rückkehr nach Orgrimmar erhalten die Spieler dann das Reittier
„Zandalari Direhorn“ und können fortan Zandalari-Trolle
erstellen.
Die Questreihe ist seit dem Release von Patch 8.1.5 spielbar.

How to Unlock Zandalari Trolls

World of Warcraft Shadowlands players who want to backtrack and unlock the Zandalari Trolls can follow these steps to earn the Allied Race option.
When World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth launched the ability to play as Allied Races was one of the expansion’s most interesting features. The new races weren’t available at launch (for the most part) and instead required players to gain the favor of each of the new groups by completing quests for them, earning reputation, and eventually winning them over to the war effort for one of the game’s two primary factions. Although the Battle for Azeroth era has faded out of the spotlight to make room for Shadowlands content, many players still may want to go back and unlock some of the Allied Races — like the Zandalari Trolls.
From the earliest days of vanilla World of Warcraft, many players have been unhappy with the look of the game’s playable Troll characters. The Zandalari Troll variant addressed a lot of those old complaints and offer the chance to play a troll that has a more modern design. It’s a tempting alt (or new main) choice for lots of Horde players, but in order to roll that type of character players first need to accomplish the Zandalari Troll unlock.

Unlocking the Allied Races wasn’t so difficult for players who worked through the BfA War Campaign in a linear fashion in the months following that expansion’s release, but players who missed the boat will have a bit of grinding to do in order to catch up. The requirements won’t take nearly as long as they did when the expansion launched, but it is still a bit of a grind for Horde players who are starting from scratch.
The key to unlocking the Zandalari Trolls is all about earning the Allied Races: Zandalari Troll achievement. Earning that feat is going to require unlocking a series of other achievements leading up to that point though, so buckle in for a bit of a ride and find a portal or boat to Zuldazar to get started…
Tides of Vengeance Achievement
Players need to finish the War Campaign (8.0 and 8.1) to earn this acheivement.
Zandalar Forever! Achievement
To earn Zandalar Forever!, players have to complete all major lore storylines in the Zuldazar zones (up to The Final Seal).
Allied Races: Zandalari Troll
Complete the quest series starting from A Royal Occasion.
After completing these, players will automatically earn the Allied Races: Zandalari Troll achievement and all the associated rewards. That includes the Tabard of the Zandalari, the Zandalari Direhorn, and the ability to create a Zandalari Troll. And that’s all there is to it at this point.
