While «Best» is a subjective term, this guide aims to talk about the most popular addons for Raiding. This is my opinion about what I found to be the best addons for helping you make the most out of your raiding experience in Classic, whether you’re new to raiding or a seasoned campaigner (though most seasoned raiders likely already have most of these installed).

Addon Philosophy and WoW Classic

Mods have been around since the beginning of WoW, but there is no doubt that there is a great philosophical debate about whether using some of these mods breaks the «Classic experience». That’s a question that I leave up to you. Personally, I have used mods right from the beginning when I started playing a few months after launch, and remember how many of the mods were even more automated than they are today!

In the spirit of recognizing that everyone has a different view of the «Classic experience», I have reviewed mods ranging from small, incremental improvements on the native classic UI all the way up to advanced raiding management. It’s up to you!

Must-Have Raiding Addons

These are the indispensable raiding addons — the ones that are almost certainly required by most raiding groups unless they’re going to a no-addons playstyle (and I do know of a few purist groups who insist on this model).

Best Raid Mechanics Helper

Deadly Boss Mods (DBM)
This addon will be very familiar to raiders and dungeoneers coming from Retail. It offers a variety of warnings about boss attacks, hazards, timers — no wonder it’s always in the top 5 of downloaded mods for the entire game. If it isn’t required by your raid team, it’s because they run the near competitor, Bigwigs Bossmods, which has very similar functionality. From learning not to «stand in it» to being aware of when to run, turn around, get out of the fire or brace for impact, either of these required mods will be, quite literally, a lifesaver.

There isn’t much else to say about this mod, other than this: if you only use one mod in the game, make it DBM.

Best DPS Monitoring Addon

Details! Damage Meter Classic

Details! will give you a realistic view of your damage output as compared to the other members of your raid team. This may not be as important if you’re playing a healing or tanking class, but DPS members of raids must always be improving their numbers to help the entire raid succeed.

With multiple windows and good customization, you can easily display the entire raid’s damage output and see where you fall by comparison. Dynamic refreshing during combat allows you to experiment with different rotations to see what might be hampering underwhelming damage and how to improve your standing.

This isn’t just for personal bragging rights. Successful raiding is fundamentally a DPS check; a raid that can’t get bosses down quickly will wipe from the healers getting worn down and not being able to keep the tanks upright. Learning what affects your DPS positively helps your entire raid team.

In addition, Details! has a number of small, helpful modules, from historical details to a threat meter that tells you how much threat everyone in your raid has on a current target. This can be important for DPS players to monitor because you can easily end up dead by pulling aggro off the tank. By knowing when to back off or use threat mitigation abilities, you can keep the aggro where it belongs. Be kind to your raid healers and keep the healing load where it belongs.

However, be careful about weaponizing damage meters. I’ve seen dungeon groups using this to vote to kick whoever has the lowest DPS in the group, whether the group is doing just fine (and often as a justification to bring in one of the other group member’s buddies who wanted to join the group in progress).

Best Healing Addon

Healbot / VuhDo

I didn’t appreciate the wonders of Healbot until I started playing a PvP healer in Alterac Valley (I primarily play tanks and DPS classes and am only just getting back into healing; playing a healer in Everquest traumatized me for years). The idea that anyone would even consider healing a large raid group without such an addon makes my brain explode just thinking about it. I also played with a similar addon, VuhDo, and came to the conclusion that which you would use would simply be a matter of personal preference.

Healbot and VuhDo are healing-specific raid frames, with each player displayed in healing groups. These groups can be customized; common groups are main tanks and healers, but you can set up custom groups. You can even have a separate healing group for players’ pets if you choose. The frames monitor health, buff and debuff status, and whether a particular player is out of range.

The healer can then define spells that can be linked to mouse clicks that will automatically cast predefined spells, trinket abilities, macros — whatever the healer wants to set up. The beauty of this is that the healer can have a boss targeted for the occasional DPS cast if they have the mana and downtime while having immediate access to any player (or even player’s pets if so inclined) needs a quick heal, buff, decurse, purge, shield, or other ability they’ve programmed into their system.

I even use Healbot now on some of my non-healer characters, as the one-click interface for myself or my pet comes in handy for other types of self-buffs and pet heals.

Both addons are highly customizable with a wide variety of options; there are many videos online that walk you through the setups (which I strongly recommend if you’re not familiar with the addon).

Nice-To-Have Raiding Addons

Best Customizable Alert Monitor

WeakAuras 2

Some would classify this as a «must-have», and depending on how your guild sets up specific WeakAuras, it may be.

WeakAuras 2 is a highly customizable framework that allows you to call out all kinds of detailed information about encounters, spells, buffs and debuffs, alerts — nearly anything that can be tracked or timed in the game, based on user-written or imported rules.

For example, if you miss the ability to track how much time a particular spell lasts, such as the duration of a hunter’s Ice Trap (it’s 1 minute from the time it’s placed), you can set up a specific WeakAura to create a custom timer bar that shows you how much longer the trap will last before it needs to be refreshed (this is very handy in battlegrounds when you’re defending a flag and want to make sure it’s covered). This is just one small example of a huge variety of WeakAuras you can write.

There are other addons that will cover some of these things (such as ClassicAuraDurations and ClassicCastBars), but the beauty of WeakAuras is that you can create just the ones you want to use and need. Plus, you can create scripts to cover very specific situations that may not be covered by existing addons because they are too specialized for creating a separate mod.

In addition to writing your own, there’s a growing library of WeakAura scripts you can download for Classic. These cover raids, dungeons, classes, combat mechanics, equipment, questing, reputation, and more. Users upload WeakAuras to this site all the time, and as the content is released in Classic, so will new WeakAuras to cover these changes. For example, under Onyxia, there are currently WeakAuras uploaded that will (loudly) alert the raid when players get aggro in Phase 3, notify the raid which priests have Fear Ward available, and remind the group to skin Onyxia when she’s defeated.

The Classic WeakAuras script library can be found at https://wago.io/classic-weakauras

Best In-Game Loot Information

AtlasLoot Classic

Want to know what the raid bosses drop while you’re in-game? AtlasLoot Classic shows a comprehensive list of items that drop from dungeons and raids (both bosses and trash), as well as items that can be acquired through world drops, PvP, factions, and crafting. You can create wishlists of favorite items as well as add items to AtlasLoot for future reference. You’ll know before you sign up for a dungeon whether it has any items that you might want to farm so you won’t be disappointed.

Best Raid Management Tool

Exorsus Raid Tools Classic

Be sure to download the Classic version under Files.

Exorsus Raid Tools (ERT) is a must-have for raid leaders and guild officers who need to monitor ongoing raid information. Modules include such things as Raid Cooldowns, Fight Log, Raid Check, Invite Tool, Raid Attendance, boss statistics, information on who pulled, and WeakAuras checks (useful if your entire raid or guild group requires the use of specific WeakAuras).

There is an entire Wowhead guide written about ERT that you can read here. While this applies to the Retail version, it is close enough to give you a detailed idea of what the mod can do to help manage large, ongoing raid teams: Exorsus Raid Tools: Every Raider’s Best Friend. There are also videos about using and setting up ERT online that will help you use this powerful addon more effectively.

Best WoW Addons for Shadowlands. Mythic plus

The newest expansion is just around the corner – World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will release on October 27th, 2020. You can properly prepare for the new adventures in the vastness of Shadowlands, starting with your user interface. We will help you improve your game to get the most fun and maximum satisfaction out of the new expansion.

Almost every player in World of Warcraft uses different game modifications – addons. They have become an integral part of the game for casual players, as well as an indispensable tool for the best players in raids, dungeons, and PvP. The default interface, despite all its improvements over the years, does not provide enough information that is so necessary for many gaming activities and does not give players the space for personalization.

Fortunately, these and other flaws of the default UI are easily corrected by the variety of addons. Some addons will help you customize the visual appearance of the interface to your liking, while others will simplify auction calculations and help you use your professions more efficiently. Addons can improve any aspect of the game.

Let’s take a look at the most useful and popular addons in different categories that will improve the quality of your game, make your life easier, and make the game much more pleasant for your perception. You will see – personalization makes a big difference!

Where to get

First things first, let’s determine where exactly you can find the addons you need. There are multiple sites where you can safely download them:

CurseForge;

GitHub;

TradeSkillMaster;

Tukui;

However, to install and update the majority of the addons, we recommend using the Twitch App. You’ll be able to easily track and manage all your addons for both Shadowlands and Classic versions of WoW in one place.

ElvUI

Elv User Interface, known as ElvUI, is a full UI replacement. It completely replaces all elements of the default interface – it is a complex structure with integrated addons and plugins. As such, many of the interface elements will never require you to install additional addons, but simply to configure particular functions using the ElvUI menu. The ElvUI menu can be accessed using the Game Menu, or with a special chat command: /ec

ElvUI combines many of the most popular interface improvements, such as raid frames, spell bar, bags configuration.

Useful informative displays are also worth mentioning – you can easily track the amount of currency or resources you are interested in, the strength of the reservation, the number of available slots in the bag, etc.

We won’t go through all the ElvUI features here – it will require a separate guide for customizing that comprehensive UI. However, let us share a useful tip: you can find ready-to-go custom builds on a special forum page and the Wago portal. Many of these builds are perfectly optimized for certain classes and roles – check them out and you’ll probably find something to your liking!

Oh, and unline most of the Addons, you won’t be able to update ElvUI using the Twitch App or Curse. You will have to update it manually using the Tukui Client. A small price to pay for this wonderful addon.

WoW Unit Frames

Shadowed Unit Frames

Download link

SUF is a combination of simplicity and flexibility. You can easily export/import layouts from your friends or other users and it’s possible to switch between profiles without reloading UI, which is very convenient. The addon includes display functions for auras and their timers, class power bars, incoming heals, player and party frames, and others.

PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Download link

A customizable unit frame, similar to Shadowed Unit Frames. Has a lot of settings for the frame customization in the game. There is plenty of skins for changing standard unit frames, and options include displaying buffs and debuffs of the player/target, displaying the threat on the player/target, using a 3D model of the character in the window, and many more.

Gladius

Download link

An indispensable tool for Arena players – adds enemy team unit frames, which allows easier targeting and focusing. Addon has many configurable features, with which you can customize the frames to suit your every need. With certain modules, you’ll be able to track PvP trinket status, Target of Target, and setup announcements for the use of trinket, cooldowns, and when enemies are on low hp and about to die.

Z-Perl Unit Frames

Download link

Updated classic X-Perl addon. I think anyone who played the game many years ago will remember it. Z-Perl is a modern version with the same clean look as before. Among its features: 3D Portraits, Range Finder, Raid Frames, Raid Tooltips, and other useful stuff.

Tidy Plates

Download link

Changes default UI for a more functional one. There are four nameplates for you to choose from:

Quatre – thick health bar, will be clearly visible;

Neon –  a little smaller than the previous one, but has its own visual differences;

Grey – minimalistic bar;

And a standard Blizzard nameplate, but with the settings of the Addon.

To enter the settings panel for Tidy Plates, use the command:  /tidyplates

Healbot Continued

Download link

A multifunctional tool for healers. Convenient customizable frames with health indicators for your raid, group. You can assign mouse combos to use any healing spells on players with active or non-active bars. You can customize combos and add any usable items, Target, Focus, and Assist commands. Targets can be sorted and split into different groups, based on roles, raid groups, etc. Additionally, HealBot supports the synchronization of healing spells with other healers in your group/raid.

WoW Panels

Action bars presented in the default Blizzard interface are one of the most outdated parts of the interface – they lack much-needed information and customization options Let’s see what can be done about that.

Bartender 4

Download link

Gives you full control over all 10 action bars and related bars, such as stance, pet, bag, and XP bars. You can customize their position, size, transparency, and easily bind Hotkeys using the KeyBound.

You can open the configuration using command /bt or /bartender. To use the KeyBound and setup your keybindings, type /kb and hover your mouse over a button, press the keyboard, and it’s done!

MoveAnything

Download link

The name speaks for itself. It’s a great tool to adjust absolutely all of the UI elements. Unlimited power over action bars, portraits, minimap, and everything else out there. You can move, scale, hide, or adjust the transparency of any element. To access the main settings window, type /move.

OmniCC

Download link

Size matters not. Look at this addon. Judge it by its size, do you? Like Master Yoda, the addon is small but extremely effective. The main function is adding text to the icons on your action bar, allowing you to see cooldowns on your abilities shown in numbers. Highly customizable, you can get very precise numbers, down to milliseconds. With the OmniCC you will always know for sure when your abilities will be ready to use!

WoW DPS meters

While addons in this category may seem quite similar at first glance, as they all perform the same function, there are some little details to each one of them, that separate them from each other. Addons use different algorithms to compute the DPS, and some may be more resource-intensive for your game.

Recount

Download link

The most famous DPS measurement addon, which name has become a household, but today it is not the most accurate one compared to the alternatives. However, this is compensated by the ease of setup and use, as well as by its lightweight. More useful as a quick in-game reference of your performance rather than a meaningful instrument for analysis during a complex raid fight.

Skada Damage Meter

Download link

Modular damage meter with various viewing modes, highly customizable, and highly efficient with your computer resources. You can setup multiple windows to track different info-meters, such as DPS, HPS, Aggro, etc. Skada is almost identical to the next addon in the category – Details! The main difference between Skada is when the DPS starts recording, and when it stops. Depending on what you want to reflect in your combat log, you will make your choice between these two.

Details! Damage Meter

Download link

DDM is the most accurate and in-depth graphical meter for your party, using the same method as Warcraftlogs itself. Overall, Skada and Details are pretty much the same, the only difference is when the DPS starts recording – while Skada starts counting the DPS when you make your first hit, Details! Meter starts counting when anyone in the group lands the first hit. Another example is Details! continuing DPS tracking until the end of the fight, while Skada is stopping and remembering your DPS the moment you die during the fight. Remember, the best damage dealer is a living one. And Details! knows that too.

WoW Auras

WeakAuras 2

Download link

An indispensable tool for every player seeking to get the maximum out of the game. It’s easily the most complex addon, but the road to the stars lies through hardships. This multifunctional tool allows an incredible level of customizability for all sorts of visual hints related to buffs, debuffs, abilities, and other status effects. You can set up animations, sound effects, and other visual clues to keep track of player or boss abilities, combinations of spells, item procs, and cooldowns.

Words about the complexity of addon could have frightened you – we assure you, there is nothing to be afraid of. Addon has one more wonderful feature – if you don’t see yourself programming your custom auras, you can import templates from other players. On this website, you can find all sorts of pre-built Weak Auras for all classes, for PvE Scenarios, PvP battles, and other game aspects. Additionally, you can Import WeakAuras from the Wowhead database, right from the spell information page.

To keep track of updates to your weak auras, as you do with other addons using the Twitch client, you can use a simple program called WeakAuras Companion App. This desktop app will help you keep all your complex auras, such as raid warning or Mythic+ related tools, up to date in a few clicks.

TellMeWhen

Download link

Similar in its functionality to previously mentioned WeakAuras, yet with a more user-friendly approach. It’s a viable option to consider for beginners, but if you’re not afraid of going through a few difficulties, you can go straight for the Weak Auras. Providing visual, audio and text notifications TMW allows you to keep track of Buffs/Debuffs, cooldowns, enchantment procs, trinket effects, and many other things. You can setup the transparency of icons based on the given conditions, such as an active buff, or combat status. To lock and unlock the addon, you can use the chat commands: /tmw or /tellmewhen.

Decursive

Download link

An important addon for classes that can dispel negative effects, such as poisons, diseases, charms, curses, or magic. It will help you remove these effects just in a few clicks. Easy to configure and to use – you can set up addon to filter out afflictions if you think they are not worth dispelling and prioritize the cleansing work by choosing what you can and want to dispel. Additionally, if you’re a Mage, Druid, or a Shaman, the addon will highlight mind-controlled player for you to Polymorph, Cyclone, or Hex them.

WoW Castbars

Quartz

Download link

If you’d like to make your casting bar much more visible and easy to see, the Quartz is a good choice. With this addon, you’ll be able to configure the size, position, colors, and font settings of your castbar. There are many useful modules in the addon, such as an implementation of target/focus castbars, flight progress bar, display of the server latency, an indicator of range, and others.

Update from 28.08.2020

As of right now, the addon is not up to date, and for a while, you may use it if you check the «Load out of date AddOns» setting in the addon list in the game. There is also a problem when the Twitch app installs the wrong version and downloads the classic version of Quartz. In that case, you should delete your current version and manually download Quartz from CurseForge.

Gnosis

Download link

Easy to set up and to use, allows you to replace your standard castbar for a more appealing one, and also allows you to create an unlimited amount of castbars. You can create buff, debuff, cooldown timers with the same options as castbars, both horizontal and vertical bars with customizable bar growth direction. Slash command to access the addon menu is /gnosis. For advanced configuration options, check the addon page on CurseForge.

WeakAuras

Download link

This wonderful tool, which you already familiar with by reading the previous section about Auras, can successfully replace your castbar and improve it both visually and functionally.

For your convenience, a few examples from the Wago of how WeakAuras can be used to replace a castbar:

CastBar v1.

Publik’s Casting Bar

Afenar Mage Collection

Many custom builds presented on Wago include already pre-configured castbars – we suggest you check class-related pages and see what other members of the WoW community have to share.

Raid Addons

Deadly Boss Mods (DBM)

Download link

One of the most useful addons that you should not be playing without. DBM provides real-time alerts for all events during the boss fights, making them easier in a sense, by allowing you to plan your actions a few steps ahead. Addon will warn you about dangerous abilities or give you simple suggestions on what to.

The main features of the addon are the Raid Warnings and Timer Bars, each made specifically for different boss encounters to alert players about approaching mechanics and abilities. Warnings can appear as a popup text and sound effects, as well as making your character announce to the party if affected by some debuff. Timer Bars track scripted events that occur at specific times during the fight and knowing that makes a huge difference in raiding. Players will be able to prepare for the coming mechanics, efficiently utilize cooldowns and class resources.

Raid Leader can create custom timers to coordinate the group – such as pull timer before the boss fight, or a break. These timers can be created by typing /pull (duration) or /break (duration) in the chat.

And there is one more nice little feature build in this addon – an auto-reply message while you’re in a boss fight. So, whenever you get a whisper from another person, an automated message will be sent, telling that you are busy at the moment, and containing information about the fight you engaged in, boss name, and the remaining HP percent. And then it will send another message once the fight ends.

On the CurseForge page, you can download additional mods and packs, such as Event Sound Packs, Countdown Packs, Voice Packs, and the old content raid packages for previous expansions.

BigWigs Boss Mods

Download link

Similar in its functionality to DBM – provides warning messages during encounters, but with more in-depth customization options for the timer bars and warning effects. While DMB is a more of a «download and ready to go» type of addon, with BigWigs you can manually set up warnings to conform to your preferences, change the color of bars, and prioritize certain events or emphasize certain spells. In a sense, Big Wigs is less spamming when it comes to notifications and sound effects than DBM, but in the end, it’s all up to personal preference.

Exorsus Raid Tools

Download link

An indispensable instrument for a raid leader, which simplifies many aspects of the game and provides the necessary information to improve the experience in the role of RL. But it’s also a helpful addon for other raiders. Main features include Raid Check, to see buffs, elixirs, food of raid members, Combat Analysis, and Raid Inspect to see player roles, talents, gear, and other information. Among other notable modules, there is an auto-invite tool, Bossmods for certain encounters, and WeakAuras checker.

GTFO

Download link

The name of the addon speaks for itself – it alerts players if they’re standing in avoidable enemy AoE attacks and suggests them, with an audio alert, to move out. Or die trying. These warnings can save many lives of those who simply did not notice certain mechanics during an encounter. Especially useful for players running the game on minimal settings with visual effects tuned down or turned off completely, for sake of performance.

Exorsus Raid Tools — Raid Add-on Guide

Welcome to the Exorsus Raid Tools add-on guide, a powerful tool for organizing (and organizing) gangs. It also includes additional features to ease the dynamics of many ongoing meetings. nine0004

Exorsus Raid Tools is an add-on that brings together endless possibilities and tools designed for gangs. With Exorsus, we can view raid CDs, manage ranks and invitations, create notes, tag allies and enemies, create journals, check our teammates’ gear, and more.

Without a doubt this is a very complete addon and it can save us from installing many other raid addons as different Exorsus tools can be activated or deactivated depending on how we are going to use them. In addition, Exorsus is constantly updated, constantly updating all of its features to be 100% adaptable to new ranges. nine0004

You can download the Exorsus Raid Tools here (from curse.com).

Once installed, an icon with the letter R will appear on the minimap in the game. Clicking on it will open the Exorsus control panel.

We are going to explain the functions one by one and their main uses. Each Exorsus option has a button that says «Enable», by selecting this option we will activate that particular Exorsus tool, in this way we can choose which features we want to use and which not, avoiding an excessive load on our computer’s memory and in our interface. nine0004

Raid Reload

This is probably the most useful Exorsus tool for all types of gangsters. This option displays useful skills for the group on the screen. The visualization is very complete, showing us the availability of , Duración y el
cool down skills.

This feature is fully customizable, allowing you to select from a list of CDs that we want to display. By default, the addon categorizes CDs by feature, separating them into different columns. The classifications are as follows: Raid CDs , Straight CDs (as Sacrificial Hand), Resurrects , Interrupts , Taunts y Dispels .

In addition, Exorsus includes an option called «Quick Install» which directly selects all skills for their classification, allowing us to customize it quickly and to our liking. For example, if you are a healer and want to see all CDs that affect the group like Tranquility, Divine Anthem, Healing Tide Totem, etc. , select Raid CDs en Quick Set will select all skills of that type. If you are a tank, you can do the same by selecting Straight CDs and all direct mitigation skills will be selected as Sacrificial Hand, Observation, Pain Suppression, etc.

If you want to add a skill that is not on the list, you can do so using the 2 buttons available at the end of the list, although you probably don’t need this as the list is very complete. nine0004

Skills will appear in a field that will contain information about the skills we have selected.

The order in which skills appear can be changed by changing the number in each skill in the list: the lower the number, the higher the priority and therefore they will appear higher.

We can also customize in which column each skill is displayed from the tab. Columns is very simple.

We can also customize the appearance of the visualization in tab Appearance the ability to change the width, length, letter, color, icon, etc. of skills. It is highly recommended to try the preset options that are already created in the menu. Templates to easily find the look you like.

Finally, in the History tab a history will be displayed showing what and when each skill was used, which is useful for checking the correct use of CDs in raid encounters.

The field that shows us the CDs can be moved to any part of the interface, to avoid accidental movement, we can select the option «Lock» over Exorsus.

Combat Res

This option shows us a button that indicates the number of respawns available in combat. We can place the button anywhere on the screen and block its movement using the «Lock» option .

Combat Log

This is one of Exorsus’ most powerful tools. Create combat logs in-game so you can view them live after fights as if it were a Warcraft log. Undoubtedly, this feature is very useful for gang leaders, as it details all combat data with complete accuracy. nine0004

This feature is resource intensive. In its configuration, you can specify the number of fights we want to keep in memory. To open the logs interface, we just need to click on the button «Go to the battle log» . We can also access the logs with the command «/Rt fl» or by right-clicking the Exorsus icon on the minimap and selecting «Battle Log» .

The interface of the journal is quite intuitive and simple if you are used to using Warcraft journals. nine0004

Raid Inspection

With this tool we can quickly check the equipment of our raid members, their item level, specialization, talents, glyphs and the average level of raid items. It also shows us in red equipment that is not optimized (no enchantment or no gems) or has a much lower item level.

It also has an option that is disabled by default but might be useful. This option is activated by clicking the magnifying glass icon at the top of the panel and selecting «Mark items if gems and enchantments are not the best» . As the name suggests, this setting will flag equipment that has sub-optimal gems/enchantments.

Attention

This Exorsus option allows us to create text notes that will be displayed in a field on the screen. Notes can be private (only we see them) or public (displayed on the screen of all group members). Without a doubt, this is a very useful feature in meetings where there is a lot of information, you need to remember priorities, establish order, etc.

Recording in «Note» we will create a general note for the entire band, which we will send using the top button «Send» . We can also create predefined notes and save them so we don’t have to write notes every time we are going to use them in a meeting.

Entry in Personal note We will create a note that will only be displayed in our interface.

The note window can be placed in the desired area of the screen by simply dragging it or by blocking its movement using parameter «Castle» .

Notes can only be viewed by members of the group who have Exorsus installed and the Notes feature enabled (by clicking on the option Enable ).

Raid Check

Another very useful option for gang leaders. This Exorsus tool tells us that members are not carrying food, a flask, or upgrade runes. It also allows us to check for buffs or tell us when potions and health stones have been used. We detail each option. nine0004

  • Check food : He tells us personally about those who do not have a cooking buff. With the participation of Food report in the raid report will be recorded in the range channel.
  • Check bottle : It informs us personally about who is not wearing the bottle. With the participation of Report on the bottle in raid Let’s write a report for the band channel.
  • Check Runes : Here is a detailed account of us personally who do not wear the augmentation rune. Featuring Runes inform the raid Let’s write a report for the band channel.
  • Check buffs : He personally informs us about bandits. With the participation of buffs are reported to the raid We will report on the channel strip.

For each of the above options, there is a command written next to the button that can be used by writing it in game chat or in a macro to save us from having to access this interface.

Here we explain the setting options. nine0004

  • Ready Food and Flask Test Report : Report the food and bottle when passing the Ready test on the tape. Enable tracking during a timer attack : Notifies when countdown passes.
    • Share only to yourself : The report is shown only to us, not in the group chat.
    • Disable in LFR : The report is disabled when playing in the raid finder.
  • Enable rune tracking during readiness check : Report augmentation runes when passing a readiness check (done) in a group.
  • Enable buff tracking during readiness check : Generate profit report during readiness check (done).
  • Minimum food level : This allows us to set a minimum food level, for example choosing 125 will be considered no food by all those with food below 125 stats or no food.
  • Display flask expired : Allows you to set when the bottle is considered finished. For example, if you select 5 minutes, all players with a flask less than 5 minutes will be treated as if they did not have a flask.
  • Enable tracking of potions and health stones : Allows us to analyze which players used potions and health stones in the last battle by pressing buttons or using commands.
  • Check Ready : By activating this option, Exorsus will show us which players are ready when passing the readiness check. This is not a very useful option, since the Blizzard interface itself already marks it for us. nine0227

Invite tools

With this tool, Exorsus makes it easy for us to invite and manage our group to create a group.

Using the button “ invite “Or team” / rt invite ”All members of the guild of the specified rank or higher in the field on the left will be invited.

With the button Disband or the command / rt dissolve we will cancel the group.

Option « Whisper Keyword Invite “Allows us to whisper some keywords (which we enter in the field below) to automatically send an invite to the player who whispered to us, which is very useful for people who are late and want to join, for example, or to spare us from the need to use the opportunity to constantly invite.

With option » invite only members of the guild «We will limit the previous option to only members who belong to our brotherhood.

In the face of Auto Promotion we will assign an assistant to guild members with the specified rank, we can also specify it with a name. You must be a bandleader for this option to work.

Finally with Raid difficulty autocorrect and loot method We can automatically specify difficulty, loot distribution type, loot master and loot limit so we don’t have to adjust these settings every time we mount a group.

Marking plate

This Exorsus tool adds a bar that allows us to mark a selected target or place marks on the ground. It also includes 2 buttons to pass the readiness test and a countdown to return. The bar can be customized.

Tags

This Exorsus option automatically marks raid members when they enter their names in the fields. A very useful option to keep player tags when rebuilding a raid, or to prevent another addon from removing tags on players. nine0004

Timers

This option shows us the different commands we have when we have Exorsus installed. These commands correspond to timers such as countdown, rest timer, etc. which are specified by Exorsus itself.

Bonus Loot

This tool shows us which players threw coins and what they got. It is always active as long as we have Exorsus.

Raid Trophy

This is a fairly simple option. He shows us the loot that drops from each boss. This is not very useful as we can see the same data in the Adventure Guide although it has the option » trash mobs To see the loot from the tape pulls, the information is not displayed in the wow interface.

Classes

This tool shows us the skills of all the classes in the game.It can be useful to see the id of the spell without leaving the game.0004

Boss mods

This variant is a set of tools for bosses with special dynamics. Without a doubt, this feature is one of the options that make Exorsus one of the most complete addons out there.

These tools are categorized by boss name where they are used, and some have a box on the right that will load the tool automatically when accessing a specific boss encounter.

To give some examples; opportunity Malkorok features the famous Malkorok Helper interface. Tool Kromog It shows us a map with runes and allows us to assign players to certain runes, including arrows indicating the position. Tool Togar It tells us where the trains come from. And tool Iskar It shows us a box with several windows that light up depending on who needs the Eye of Anzu, and that when you press the windows, the eye goes straight, which helps us a lot in this meeting. nine0004

Boss stats

This exorcism feature shows us gang encounter stats like how many times we defeated bosses, how long we fought etc.

Arrow

Another simple tool from Exorsus, but very powerful. If you have ever used the Tomtom addon you will be familiar with this feature.

This function informs us about the various commands that Exorsus uses to create arrows. These arrows indicate the orientation and distance to something in particular. With these commands we can specify:

  • / rt arrow XY ; It shows us the distance and direction from our character to certain coordinates. The coordinates are not very useful in the strip.
  • / rt Range NAME ; It shows us the distance (in yards) from us to a specific player. We replace NAME with the name of the target player.
  • / rt arrowBUFF ; The arrow indicates the direction of the player with a certain buff. We have to replace BUFF with the name or id of the buff we want to specify. nine0227
  • / rt arrowplayer NAME ; It shows us an arrow pointing to the location of a particular player. The NAME field contains the player’s name. Very useful in meetings with lots of movement that require regrouping or getting disoriented easily.
  • / rt arrow N ; Pretty useful in-band feature. It shows us with a direction arrow the location of the player marked with the icon. In N we put the number corresponding to the icon (denoted by Exorsus). Particularly effective in matches where addons like DBM flag players that are affected by some kind of dynamic, or for chasing/tracking an important player. nine0227
  • / rt arrow is ; It places an arrow that will indicate the position the character is in when using this command. It is useful to assign us a plot of land and be able to return to exactly the same point.
  • / rt arrowhide ; Hide the arrow.

Buttons Set position y Reset position they are used to assign a position to return with an arrow, like the command / rt arrow is and restart the brand.

Save log

If this option is enabled, Exorsus will start logging when accessing lanes and stop logging when exiting. Useful if you normally load logs into warcraft logs but forget to use the / combatlog command.

Loot in chat

Link loot from looted bosses through the raid chat. There is no secret in this.

Profiles

This option allows us to create and save Exorsus config profiles, so we can create different configs for our characters or for different ranges and load configs easily, saving us a lot of time.

Choice combat logs making real time logs is really great for those of us who are crazy about data analysis.
