Last update: Thursday, April 16, 2020
This game guide to Uncharted Drake’s Fortune can be considered as a comprehensive adventurer’s guidebook, which will help Nathan Drake to reach the finale of his epic journey. Also, he will be able to collect all hidden treasures while exploring vast dungeons, spooky tombs and ancient ruins. Our guide consists of two parts. The first part is a detailed walkthrough of the main campaign. We explain in detail how to complete all 22 chapters of the main story — you will learn, among other things, how to defeat different types of opponents, how to complete climbing sequences and how to solve various puzzles that can be encountered in the game world. Also, our guide includes a special section with a detailed description of the final boss fight.
The second large part of the guide is a chapter entirely dedicated to treasures and in-game collectibles. We reveal the exact locations of all 61 secrets/collectibles, which are required to unlock many associated trophies. The whole guide is complemented by additional chapters and sections — trophy guide, in-game controls section and a special page which informs how much time is required to complete Uncharted 1.
Uncharted Drake’s Fortune is the first part of the action adventure game series. The game was originally released in 2007 on PlayStation 3, but in 2016 it also received an extended remaster on PS4 (Uncharted The Nathan Drake’s Collection). During the game, player follows the adventures of Nathan Drake and his friends — mentor friend Sully and TV reporter Elena. The main theme of the game is the desire to find the mythical city of El Dorado. Protagonists visit many interesting locations during the story campaign — secret areas in the jungle, abandoned ruins, wrecks or ancient catacombs. While searching for El Dorado’s location, Nate is being disturbed by numerous enemies. Taking part in intense battles is one of the main game features.

Is it difficult to unlock the platinum trophy in Uncharted Drake’s Fortune?
No, obtaining a platinum trophy in Uncharted 1 is not very difficult. In order to unlock the platinum trophy, players have to complete the game on Crushing difficulty level, which may cause some major problems. Players have to take part in a lot of battles in Uncharted Drake’s Fortune, and repeating more difficult encounters with enemies can become exhausting after some time.
It’s worth noting that you don’t have to take care of all the trophies to unlock platinum trophy in PS4 version of the game. Extended Collection trophies are optional. This is great news, because to get a trophy like Charted! — Brutal can be very difficult. For complete information on unlocking trophies in Uncharted Drake’s Fortune, check out our trophy guide.
Is Uncharted Drake’s Fortune a long game?
No, the game is not particularly long — the main storyline can be finished in less than 10 hours. The amount of time spent with the game will increase if you want to find all collectibles or unlock the platinum trophy. In that case, you’ll need up to 20 hours to complete the game in 100%. For more information about the duration of the game and its features, please check out a separate page of our guide — How long does it take to complete Uncharted Drake’s Fortune?
How to activate the Photo Mode?
Photo Mode is only available in the remastered version of Uncharted 1 on PS4. Also, it is initially disabled and you have to switch it on from the options menu. Move to the Game tab, then tick the Photo Mode Enable.
From this point on, you can press the lower directional button to activate the Photo Mode. This mode will not be available at all times during your gameplay. The game may temporarily block this mode, for example, during cutscenes.
Before taking a photo you can, of course move the camera, change the focus, apply various filters and hide the user interface so it won’t be captured in the picture (after pressing the SHARE button).
How to activate cheat codes?
The cheat codes become available after you finish the game for the first time (on any difficulty level). From the pause menu, select Bonuses, Rewards and Tweaks.
You can turn cheat codes on and off at any time you want. The list presented below contains all cheats available in the game:
- Mirror World — creates a mirror image of the world.
- Fast Motion — move faster.
- Flip World — turns and rotates the world.
- Slow Motion — enables slow motion.
- Super Slow Motion — enables super slow motion.
- Infinite Ammo — infinite ammo for all weapons.
- One-Shot Kills — one blow kills any enemy.
Note — using cheat codes still allows you to unlock trophies. It may even make it easier to get them.
How to choose a different skin for main character?
As you make progress with the story, new character skins are being unlocked. These can be modified Drake’s skins or even skins of other heroes. You can select them from the options menu by opening Bonuses, Rewards and Skins.
Applying a particular skin doesn’t affect the gameplay, even if it’s drastically different in appearance from Nate’s default skin.
Does Uncharted Drake’s Fortune require a PS+?
No, a PlayStation Plus subscription is not required to complete all content available in Uncharted Drake’s Fortune. This is a result of the fact that the game does not have any multiplayer modes. The game only offers a single player content.
Does the remastered version of Uncharted 1 on PS4 offer a new content?
Apart from minor exceptions, no. The course of the main story campaign is identical for PS3 and PS4 versions. There are the same number of chapters to complete and in the PlayStation 4 version they don’t contain any new locations or scenes.
Remaster on PS4 offers 1080p and 60fps gameplay, improved textures and character models, and a better lighting system. The new features include a photo mode and some trophies that were not available on PS3.
Can I purchase Uncharted 1 remaster separately?
Yes, Uncharted Drake’s Fortune Remastered edition can be purchased separately, but this only applies to the digital version. You don’t have to buy the whole Uncharted Nathan Drake’s Collection game set. This is a more interesting solution if you’ve finished the other two parts and don’t need another copy of these games.
How much disk space is required to install Uncharted Drake’s Fortune?
The amount of required disk space depends on your version of Uncharted 1:
- Uncharted Drake’s Fortune on PS3 needs around 20 GB of storage space on the console’s HDD.
- Uncharted Drake’s Fortune Remastered needs around 11 GB of storage space on PS4.
- Uncharted Nathan Drake’s Collection requires around 46 GB of free storage space on PS4.

Uncharted 1: Showdown — Chapter 22 walkthrough, Navarro boss fight
Last update: Thursday, April 16, 2020
On this page of our guide to Uncharted Drake’s Fortune you can find a detailed walkthrough of the final chapter of the game, that is, Chapter 22 — Showdown. In this chapter, you have to fight with Navarro — the final boss of the game. Our walkthrough explains in detail what types of attacks he uses and how to defeat him.
Sully was providing covering fire from above. Drake quickly ran left and down. On his way, he had to eliminate a monster that jumped on him from the wall. The protagonist bypassed the lake. Then he went up to the spot from which Navarro has just escaped. When Nate was passing the second pillar, he took his weapon and aimed up — two enemies ran out of the tunnel.[1] A bit further (when the road started to bend) Nathan once again aimed up and eliminated the last enemy. He continued to move on and at the end of the path he jumped on a treasure that was lifted by a helicopter.[2]
The battle has moved to a completely different place. Nate had to fight with dangerous Navarro and typical opponents simultaneously. At first, our hero focused his firepower on standard enemies. Then, he noticed that Navarro shoots blindly three times in a row — practically without hitting anything. The enemy tends to aim just before the fourth shot. Nathan had to find cover when Navarro was going to launch an attack, because the fourth shot was deadly. Some of the obstacles, used by the hero as a cover, were destructible — in such situation he quickly had to jump behind another crates.
Drake quickly took cover behind boxes and killed three enemies (beginning with the one on the right ). Also, he had to dodge continuous attacks of the main boss.[1] Navarro ran away. Before Nathan followed him, he changed his weapon to M4 and collected the ammunition. He jumped through a box and took cover behind another crate. Then, he quickly eliminated an enemy that was trying to reach his hideout (1). Nate has wiped out the rest of enemies (2-3). [2]
When he has exterminated three enemies in the front, more reinforcements have arrived — Nate eliminated the uncovered enemy and changed his hiding spot by jumping to the left (there was also some ammo lying there). Then, he focused on the bandit on the right. After that, he finished off the last thug.[1] Nate collected the ammunition and moved between the containers — he was extremely vigilant. The falling crates almost knocked down the hero, but he managed to jump away (press Circle when prompted).[2]
After avoiding the trap, Nate took cover behind another obstacle. At first, he killed the opponent that was standing straight ahead(1). Then, he eliminated an enemy that approached from the stairs on the right(2). Drake terminated the last enemy he saw(3).[1] After killing him, a more dangerous foe, equipped with a grenade launcher, has appeared at the top. Drake killed him as fast as he could. If his cover was destroyed, he quickly jumped to another one.[2]
Nate ran after Navarro up the stairs. After a series of events, the hero has lost his gun. He quickly retreated and took cover behind the first crate[1]. He waited until the enemy fired twice. Then, he jumped right behind the second box. He repeated the maneuver — he waited for two shots and jumped behind the third obstacle. After Navarro fired the second time, the crate shattered and Nathan jumped on his enemy. Nate performed his characteristic set of punches (Square, Triangle, Square — a quick time event). After a short struggle, Navarro tried to reach his shotgun. Nate rushed up after Navarro and struck him again.[2] This is it. Well done!

Unexplored beaches of North Goa — unusual excursions in Goa
Unexplored beaches of North Goa — unusual excursions in Goa
Enjoy the pristine Goan nature and gentle sea at the secluded beaches of Paradise and Kerim
Tripster excursion in Goa
Get ready to spend the day alone and with landscapes warm sea of the north coast of Goa. You will visit Fort Redi, captured by Indian forests, and then hide from tourists and noisy merchants on the hard-to-reach beaches of Paradise and Kerim. Nothing superfluous — only coniferous trees and tall palm trees, velvety sand, stunning sea sunset and absolute harmony. nine0239
What to expect
Abandoned Redi Fort in the wild
On our way to Goa’s northern beaches, we will stop at Redi Fort, a place rarely visited by tourists. The powerful walls of the colonial era are defeated here by Indian lush vegetation. An abandoned and partially destroyed fort, entangled in tree roots, will not only be an excellent backdrop for mysterious, atmospheric photos, but also proof of the power of Goa’s pristine nature.
Harmony and seclusion of Paradise Beach
Despite the lack of infrastructure, bars and restaurants, the hard-to-reach Paradise Beach is the main decoration of the northern coast of Goa. Here you will enjoy the sun and the sea, stretching out on the snow-white and soft, like powder, sand. The nature of Paradise Beach deserves special mention: coniferous trees unusual for Goa, the cleanest air and a long strip of sandy spit. Add to this the absence of tourists and intrusive local merchants — and you have a recipe for the perfect beach holiday. And the photos taken on Paradise Beach will definitely be included in the list of favorite shots from Goa. nine0239
Meet the sunset on Kerim Beach
The final point of the trip will be the most remote beach in the northern part of Goa, as if specially created for lovers of silence and secluded relaxation. At the same time, Kerim Beach is also famous for its stunning sea sunsets, one of which we will meet under the sound of the waves. And those who wish can ride a boat to the very mouth of the Terekol River.

What I especially liked was the thoughtfulness of the route, we were among the very first at the waterfall, so we quickly slipped through without a queue. When we left, there was a huge queue, I can’t imagine how many people get there!

The trip was originally organized individually for two people. All the nuances and our wishes were discussed in advance. Elena provided assistance in buying tickets from Goa to Delhi and back, and subsequent online registration.
When the journey began, each of our stages was accompanied by online support from Elena. Everything that was said about the trip was strictly observed. Transfer from the hotel and back was in a good car with an intelligent-looking driver.
In Delhi and Agra we had a guide Nirmal (Niki). He is a native Indian, but speaks excellent Russian. It was interesting to communicate with him, he presents information in an accessible and good way, always competently answered our questions and clarifications, helped us in everything.
The car assigned to us for two days was a Suzuki passenger car, well-groomed, air-conditioned, the driver was neat and attentive.
Overnight in Agra. Our hotel there was dirty, without a window and with a specific smell, but, in my opinion, everyone there is kind of similar, this is their “philosophy”. At least the bed linen and towels are washed, albeit a little old. We accepted with a smile some shortcomings in the hotel, as features of Indian flavor. For breakfast, by the way, at the hotel we were fed deliciously and heartily, everything is European.
As for the excursion program itself, in Delhi we also managed to visit the sights beyond that. Well, the Taj Mahal is definitely a must-see!
It was a busy two days, but it was worth it. We enjoyed the trip! nine0239

The spice farm is the most boring place I have ever been to, and other participants also didn’t like it from the very beginning, the only plus of this place is that they fed there and that you can buy spices, but the guide warned that the price tag is x2, therefore, there is no point in taking there when you can return and take the same thing at every step. It would be better after the waterfall before going to the Buddhist temple to find some authentic cafe with local food and agree on a discount in exchange for the fact that you will have an influx of a whole bus of hungry tourists from your side, in the same Portuguese area in Panaji there is probably something interesting , just after breakfast 40 minutes in jeeps one way, 1.5 hours at the waterfall, 40 minutes back and to the capital, it’s unlikely that someone will complain that they haven’t eaten for 4 hours, and that this is a very long time after breakfast, on the contrary, they arrived at the farm spices, and no one really wanted to eat there, because literally 3 hours had passed after the first meal. nine0239

The tour is called a very true magical world! There you will get))) what I want to say:
— the car is comfortable, the driver is super pro
-guide was Ravi and it added to the authenticity! Just a wonderful person with a strong inner light
-the route is made qualitatively: we saw everything we wanted!
-the hotel for the night was also great (which was initially scary)
So thank you very much for all these impressions and your work. Was cool! Not easy, but amazing! nine0239
