Tyler1 is known for his rants while streaming. Sometimes they are warranted though when he brings up issues with the game and the community. This time around he has stated that LoL Worlds 2022 killed the NA streamer scene for League of Legends.

What does Tyler1 think of LoL Worlds? | © Tyler1 via Twitch

Famous Twitch streamer Tyler «Tyler1» Steinkamp has gone on another one of his rants during a stream wondering whether the 2022 League of Legends World Championship has effectively killed the LoL scene on Twitch. Is he right and has League died on Twitch?

It isn’t the first time that Tyler1 has questioned League of Legends and whether it’s still relevant. Sure, he still plays hours and hours of this game, streaming them and effectively becoming the most well-known face in League of Legends. Is he right that the LoL scene in NA is dying, and that Worlds has something to do with this?

  • LoL Worlds 2022 Event: Rewards, Battle Pass & Loot

Viewership for the League of Legends World Championship has dropped by 40% from the previous year, something Tyler1 mentioned in his stream on October 24. This decline in Worlds viewership could be due to the time slot of the event in other regions, since it’s either late at night in Europe or early morning for China and Korea.

Tyler1 went on to state that he also decided to check out other streamers like Bobqin, Tarzaned and ChaseShaco who have also struggled with viewership since the beginning of the World Championship and have had extremely low viewership numbers in recent times.

Can’t get enough of Worlds? Check out some Heimderdonger:

According to TwitchTracker, Tarzaned has had a huge decline in viewership. Comparing September to October we can see a fast decline with the streaming averaging almost 4,000 viewers in the previous number, while only managing an average of around 1,800 viewers.

It’s not just individual streamers that seem to be suffering from a loss of viewership, but League of Legends as a category on Twitch has also suffered since the beginning of the year with viewership dropping from 248,000 average concurrent viewers to 159,000 in October.

  • League of Legends Worlds 2022: Faker Breaks Another Record

So, while Tyler1 might be shouting into the void, it seems that he does have a point that in some way, shape or form, League of Legends isn’t raking in the viewers it once was. With a lot of famous streamers switching over to YouTube though it could just be that more streamers have migrated to another site and therefore the numbers seem so grim.

It’s a rough day for one of the notable faces of Fortnite and Twitch livestreaming. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has been synonymous with Twitch and Fortnite for years now, but a recent abrupt ending to one of his livestreams might mean the end of Ninja on Twitch and, in fact, all online interaction for a while. The star influencer cut what was supposed to be an all-day stream with fellow Twitch streamer SypherPK short and announced a hiatus on his social media channels. He has also seemingly dropped Twitch partnership since.

It all began with the unplanned ending of a livestream on Ninja’s Twitch channel on September 1, 2022. Ninja was playing with Ali “SypherPK” Hassan in a livestream that expected to run throughout the day. However, things turned sour and Ninja grew frustrated as he played, up until the point where he stated he was ending the stream.

“Can’t do it anymore, dude. Can’t,” Ninja said before going off the air. “I’ve had enough of this, man… I’m leaving. I’m done. Honestly dude? I’ve got to take a break from streaming.”

Tyler «Ninja» Blevins seemingly suspended his activity on Twitter and Twitch and his Twitch partner status looks to have been dropped following his announcement that he needed a break from streaming.

Following his exit from the livestream, Ninja went on to suspend his own social media on Twitter with a fairly cryptic message about what comes next.

“I just need a break…I don’t know when I will be back, or where,” the Fortnite star wrote.

In the wake of this occasion, Ninja has also seemingly dropped his partner status on Twitch, which may speak to his commentary of “where” when it comes to a return to social media or livestreaming.

Ninja has been side-by-side with Fortnite for years, even going as far as to get his own skin in the game in 2020. Nonetheless, it’s looking like fans of the Twitch streamer will have to get by without him for a bit. Stay tuned as we continue to follow for more details and updates on this story.

I madly wanted to play Tatyana — Newspaper Kommersant No. 93 (1737) dated 06/02/1999

&nbsp Liv Tyler: I madly wanted to play Tatiana
Actress Liv Tyler was spotted three years ago in Bernardo Bertolucci’s film «Escaping Beauty». Perhaps, after that, her most striking work was the role in the blockbuster «Armageddon», which brought her nominations for «Antioscar» and for the MTV award. Kommersant correspondent MARIANNA DIMANT talks to LIV TYLER.

— Liv, was Pushkin’s novel enough for you to play Tatiana, or did you have to read something else about Russia?
— I was here for the first time a year ago, spent two days, was in Pushkin’s apartment on the Moika and in the Hermitage. I needed to see St. Petersburg, somehow be inspired. Of course, I didn’t know anything about Russia or Russian women.
Your heroine believes in destiny and omens. Do you believe that everything in life is predetermined?
— Oh sure. Mom always told me that everything that happens is not accidental. The failures that sometimes haunt us are also life lessons.
— What is close to you in Tatiana and how do you resemble her?
— When I first read the novel, I realized that I really wanted to play Tatyana. I was almost the same age as her, I also grew up without a father. It seemed to me that I understood her well. Or rather, I feel. I think she is a man of her word. She believes in what she says. I don’t know what exactly «Russian soul» is. It was important for me that we matched from the inside. In general, when you work on a film, you begin to live in a completely different dimension, you find yourself in a life alien to you, which should become yours for a while. This is great.
— Did your Tatyana change a lot in the final? Does she love her husband?
— A person does not change — the soul just remains the same. Of course, circumstances influenced her. Maybe she became more secure. She tries to love her husband, but her heart belongs to Onegin and always will.
— You watched the film for the first time at the premiere in St. Petersburg. Did you like it?
— Oh, I don’t know, I’m in some kind of shock, I don’t understand anything …
— Do you think «Onegin» will be well received in the West?
— I hope it’s good. To be honest, I didn’t think about it. If I start thinking about it, I’ll be exhausted.
Has there ever been unrequited love in your life?
— Oh, many times!
— Could you be the first to confess your love to a man?
— Yes!
What kind of relationship do you usually have with partners? Do they often fall in love with you?
— No, I can’t say. Of course, on the set you have to spend a lot of time with each other, there is a special contact, you begin to understand each other perfectly. And then, my partners — Jeremy Irons, Bruce Willis, Rafe Fiennes — are older and more experienced than me. I had different relations with them, but they all helped me a lot, they gave me a lot as actors, they were attentive and patient.
— What kind of relationship did you have with Bernardo Bertolucci?
“I was shocked that he believed in me so much. It supported me all the time, but I was completely inexperienced, I was twitching all the time.
Did Bertolucci suppress you?
Not at all, I felt completely free. And then, he knows how to listen, which is important to me.
— Is it easy for you to agree to act in explicit love scenes?
— It’s really hard. Sometimes you just don’t have a choice. I don’t think it’s necessary to show every part of your body. It has nothing to do with acting skills.
— Are you going to get married? Does marriage mean anything to you?
— As a child, I often dreamed that I would have a husband and children, but now some part of me refuses to believe in marriage. It must be endured, one must test oneself, go through torment, then, perhaps, marriage will be a reward. It is very important to feel absolutely sure that when you get married, you do not make mistakes and you really need it.
— Do you consider yourself beautiful? Do you like looking at yourself in the mirror?
— It depends. In the mirror you see all sorts of pimples … I think that everyone is very critical of themselves. Everything depends on the mood.
— Your life is in sight, you are always in the spotlight. Does fame tire you?
No, so far I like it. I love it when people say nice things about my work, like today after watching it. Yes, of course, when I put on black glasses and walk around New York, they still recognize me and look at me, but I calmly move on and go about my business.
Do you like living in New York?
— Very much, but I also love the sea very much. I love Italy.
What do you value most in people?
— Honestly? The ability to smile. Sense of humor. But I love people simply because they are people. I love beauty in women. I love everything beautiful.
— What do you do in your free time?
— A lot of things. I don’t have any hobbies, I don’t sew, I don’t knit, I’m not interested in computers at all… I like to take pictures. I love listening to music. I love to wander around the shops and choose different rags. Looking for beautiful fabrics, unusual colors…
— Do you follow fashion?
— I wear what I like. If something becomes fashionable, everyone immediately puts it on. I don’t want to look like someone else.
— How did you like Petersburg girls?
— Very beautiful. In general, all the people are wonderful, everyone was so attentive to me and so kind … I would like to return to St. Petersburg again.

— K-Kate?

The girl twitches, starting to turn her head:

— God…

— Kate! I repeat a little louder. The girl freezes. Her chest rises and falls heavily:

— Tyler? Tyler is that you?! She seems to be in a panic.

— Yes, it’s me, — I swallow.

— What happened? Where are we? she whines.

I frown:

— I only remember that it became dark around, and then… — he shut up, hearing the creak of the iron door. girl twitching:

— Tyler? Why are you silent?! Tyler!

My eyes widen as the blond boy stops a meter away from me, backpack in hand.

From Kaya’s perspective.

I rushed down to the teacher, because Kate was standing next to him. The man looked around, obviously not understanding where the girl had gone. Dylan stopped me as I approached Hector:

— Excuse me, have you seen where Kate, Tyler and Met have gone?

Hector frowns, opening his mouth, but turns around, silently looking around:

— Now the game will begin. Where are they?

— You didn’t see it, did you? I breathe heavily as I turn to Dylan. He is surprisingly calm.

— Did something happen? the teacher turns to me. I look back at him, nodding, causing Dylan to squeeze my hand. I don’t want to involve anyone else myself, but we need help.

— So what’s going on? Hector put his hands on his waist, sniffling.

I didn’t know what to say, so I looked at Dylan. My brows furrowed as I noticed a slight change in his face: it had paled and there were circles under his eyes.

I opened my mouth in panic. Why now?!

Dylan staggered. I grabbed his torso, holding:

— What’s wrong with you? — I whisper.

— O’Brien? Hector stepped closer. — Do you need water?

— Yes, — I answer instead of Dylan, because he can’t even make a sound. I take the bottle, helping the guy drink some. He chokes, leaning harder on me with his body.

The match has started. An enthusiastic scream filled the hall. We need to leave.

— We need to get him out of here — Hector took Dylan by the arms, helping him walk. I rushed after them to the exit from the hall, glancing at the field to make sure that the guys were definitely not there.

We went out into the corridor and Dylan immediately fell to the floor. I rushed over to him, stroking his sweaty face:

— Dylan?! What happened to you?

The guy pressed his back against the wall, starting to tremble. He swallows nervously, looking down at the floor. Looks worse. Much: his skin is cold, and the circles under his eyes have taken on a strange purple hue. I looked at him worriedly, not understanding what was going on. It seems that Hector wants to ask me a question, but is silent:

«He needs a doctor,» he says, but frowns as he pulls his phone out of his pocket. I raise my eyes to him.

— Did you search for Meta? asks a question, nodding towards the phone. I purse my lips when the man answers. His expression instantly changes:

— What are you talking about? Where are you?! The game has already started! You . .. — trailed off, looking at me. — They are here.

I hold O’Brien, but I do not immediately notice that he has stopped moving. My mouth opens:

— Dylan?.. — the guy’s eyes close, and his breathing becomes deeper. He’s like…

— Dylan! I start shaking him by the shoulders. — What happened to you?!

— Kaya! Hector sat down on one knee beside him. “Met wants you to look after Dylan. I’ll call an ambulance and the local nurse.

I feel tears start to flow from my eyes as Dylan passes out. What about him?! What the…

I look at the phone Hector is holding out to me. I swallow the lump in my throat, grabbing the phone, and put it to my ear:

— What the hell, Met?! Where are Kate and Tyler?!

— Kaya? I freeze, realizing that it is Kate’s voice. – Kaya?!

— Kate, Kate, where are you?!

— Don’t stop! she screams, and I hear a groan. Don’t touch him, Met!

— Tyler… Is he hitting him?! I scream.

Hector tries to give Dylan water. I’m spinning around:

— Meth, — my voice is trembling.

— Yes, I can finally hear him.

— Where are you? I growl.

— Would you like to join us?

— Where are they, you bastard?!

— Downstairs, Kaya, downstairs — beeps.

I stand still for a couple of seconds before I force myself to move. I turn to Hector:

— Please call the police and an ambulance, I look at Dylan. My hands are shaking as I hand the phone to the man:

— Please take care of him.

— Where are you going?! Hector frowns, raising his voice.

— I have to help him — I run towards the stairs.

— Help someone?!

Meta. Yes, I’m going to help him. He got confused. He just doesn’t understand what he’s doing. I know him better than anyone. I know him because I once loved him, but the feeling of kinship remained somewhere inside me. I can’t let him ruin my life like this.

Now she and Dylan are especially similar.

I run out onto the stairs. At the bottom. He spoke downstairs. Maybe it’s a basement? Well, certainly not the roof. I descend quickly but unsteadily. The dim light does not illuminate the road well, so I stumble, grabbing the railing. The descent seems to be getting steeper because I have to slow down.

I finally get to the door. Recent events immediately flash through my head: when I was running from Dylan, I also went down to the basement, but then I knew that there was a way out ahead, and in this case I don’t know what awaits me behind this door.

I touch the handle, which creaks disgustingly when I press on it. The door opens, but not completely. I swallow, peering into the pitch darkness. Gently crawl through the gap, taking small steps. I open my eyes wide, trying to see the road.

Dim light ahead. I accelerate, hearing soft sobs.

Kate.

I go out into a spacious room. It’s stuffy and damp in here. My gaze falls on a red-haired girl whose mouth is covered with a cloth. Her eyes are wet and dark with runny mascara. She sees me and starts mooing, twitching her whole body.

— Kate, — I rush to her, which causes the girl to start tearing her throat, bellowing louder. I drop to my knees beside her, trying to untie my mouth, but my hands are shaking too much. I hear groans. I turn my head: Tyler is lying against the wall. His face is covered with bruises, and his hands are cut. I open my mouth to whimper, but I control myself as I keep trying to untie Kate. The girl starts screaming as she looks at me.

Sole creak. I turn my head sharply, and a strong blow falls on my head.

***

Hector finished what he had wanted to do for so long, but there was no convenient moment. But now he did everything and is pleased with himself. Dylan starts to twitch, opening his eyes. He sees the man, rising abruptly to his feet, causing him to stagger, falling to his knees again. Hector calmly rises, walking towards him. O’Brien starts to crawl away from him, but weakens again. His body shakes convulsively as he leans against the wall as he rises.

— You did everything even better than I wanted.

Dylan gets to his feet, turning his head towards Hector. He smiles his attractive smile:

— You infected her.

***

I feel pain in the temple area. My body is aching. Eyes slowly and lazily open. I turn my head, realizing that I can’t move my arms.

— Kaya, — a hoarse voice makes me straighten up. I’m sitting against the wall, opposite the pipe Kate is tied to. The girl sobs, whimpering plaintively. Tyler lies on the floor, not moving. I frown, twitching my hands. Finally, I see Meta. He comes around the corner, walking towards me.

— What are you doing?! I scream as I keep trying to free myself. “Look, you’re just not yourself, Met.

I’m still trying to get through to him, but even in the dim light, I see a smile on his face. The guy gets down on one knee next to me. I swallow as he stares into my eyes:

— It doesn’t matter anymore.
