Hexer ohne Ehre
Ursprünglich als Monster-Auftrag von einem Anschlagbrett in Novigrad gestartet, verwandelt sich der Auftrag zu einer Nebenquest. Trefft euch als Erstes mit dem Aufseher in der Nähe des „Südtors“ von Novigrad. Von ihm erfahrt ihr nicht nur, dass bereits ein Konkurrent hinter der Bestie her ist. Außerdem hat bisher noch niemand das Monster wirklich gesehen. Der Soldat schickt euch zum Haus des letzten Opfers. Untersucht die Fuß- und Blutspuren und schließlich die Leiche. Macht die Fußsspur vor dem Haus mit den Hexersinnen sichtbar und folgt ihr. Beim kleinen Holzsteg mit dem Boot kann die Spur untersucht werden. Springt am Ende des Stegs ins Wasser und schwimmt ans andere Ufer. Dort könnt ihr die Spur wieder aufnehmen, die zu einem Lagerhaus am Wasser führt. In der oberen Etage des Hauses habt ihr die Ekimma und Hexerkollege Lambert aufgespürt. Tötet den Vampir und kehrt zum Auftraggeber zurück.

Dort überschlagen sich die Ereignisse. Begebt euch anschließend zur Taverne „Die Sieben Katzen“, um von Lambert endlich mehr zu erfahren. Danach folgt eine Unterhaltung mit Vienne über den Rest der Bande von Jad Karadin, auf deren Spur Lambert ist. Schließlich beschließen die beiden Hexer die Aufgabe zu teilen: Geralt soll nach Skellige auf die Insel Faroe reisen, um Hammond zu finden.

Hammon auf Faroe
Hammon lebt im Dorf Trottheim auf der östlichen Seite der Insel Faroe, während der Ort Harviken samt Hafen auf der Westseite liegt. Wenn ihr den Ort das erste Mal betretet, nehmen euch die Wachen am Tor genau unter die Lupe. Fragt ihr nach Hammond, hält sich dieser gerade im Schrein zum Beten auf. Der Schrein liegt am Ende der Hauptstraße nach dem Dorf. Macht über dessen Frömmigkeit Witze, greifen euch sofort Wachen an. Ihr müsst in dem Fall gegen das ganze Piratennest kämpfen. Gebt ihr vor, später wiederzukommen, könnt ihr einen Umweg nehmen. Im Süden gibt es an der Küste ein Boot, mit dem ihr bequem zum Schrein segeln könnt. Konfrontiert am Schrein angekommen Hammon, und fragt nach Jad Karadin. Nach dem unausweichlichen Kampf findet ihr die gesuchte Information im Form eines Brief, auf elegantem Briefpapier verfasst.

Danach sollt ihr euch wieder mit Lambert in der Taverne Nirgendwo in Novigrad treffen. Falls ihr vorhin das Boot benutzt habt, könnt ihr damit bequem per Schnellreise zum Hafen von Harviken zurückkehren, und dort den Wegweiser zur Schnellreise zurück nach Novigrad benutzen. Nun ist den beiden Hexern bekannt, dass Jad Karadin unter dem Namen Roland Treugger als wohlhabender Kaufmann in Novigrad lebt. Konfrontiert ihr Jad Karadin mit seiner Vergangenheit, muss sich Geralt entscheiden: will er Lambert helfen, muss er Jad Karadin töten, oder er hält sich aus der Sache ganz raus. Ende der Geschichte.

Auf der Fährte — In Novigrad fängt alles an

Um eines vorweg zu nehmen, Sie sollten die Quest «Reiseziel: Skellige» schon abgeschlossen haben, damit Sie schnell nach Skellige reisen können. Folgen Sie dann den folgenden Schritten.

Die Quest ist am Schwarzen Brett in Novigrad erhältlich. Nachdem Sie die Notiz gelesen haben, können Sie auch schon loslegen.
Gehen Sie in den Osten von Novigrad und sprechen Sie mit der Wache vor Ort. Fragen Sie ihn nach den Ereignissen. Er wird Ihnen einige Informationen geben können.
Gehen Sie danach zu besagtem Steg und untersuchen Sie anschließend das Haus mit Ihrem Hexersinn. Sie werden merken, dass die Spuren aus dem Haus am Ufer entlang weitergehen, bis sie abrupt enden.
Schwimmen Sie an dieser Stelle an das andere Ufer und Sie werden die Spuren wiederfinden. Folgen Sie diesen. Sobald Sie die Treppen erklommen haben, müssen Sie das auftauchende Monster töten.
Danach werden Sie Lambert kennen lernen, der Sie um Ihre Hilfe bittet. Folgen Sie ihm zum besagten Aufseher und beobachten Sie den Streit. Erledigen Sie die drei Aufseher und sprechen Sie danach Lambert an.
Treffen Sie ihn anschließend vor der von ihm vorgeschlagenen Taverne. Nach einem längeren Dialog, der in die Taverne hinein führt, können Sie sich entscheiden, was mit Vienne geschehen soll. So oder so müssen Sie danach nach Skellige reisen.

Beginnen Sie das Abenteuer in Novigrad.

Auf der Fährte — Reise nach Skellige und zurück

Nun geht es per Schnellreise nach Skellige auf die Insel Harviken. Sobald Sie dort angekommen sind, fahren Sie wie folgt fort.

Reiten Sie vom Wegschild aus nach Osten in Richtung Trottheim. Wenn Sie dort ankommen, werden Sie in eine Auseinandersetzung mit dem Aufpasser involviert. Sie können sich nun entscheiden, ob Sie die Plünderer töten möchten oder später noch einmal wiederkommen.
Egal, wie Sie sich entscheiden, danach sollten Sie dem Pfad im Osten weiterhin folgen. Am Ende erwartet Sie Hammond samt Kompanie und Sie müssen ihn töten.
Danach können Sie per Schnellreise wieder zurück nach Novigrad in die Taverne. Sprechen Sie erneut mit Lambert um einige brisante Details über die Geschichte zu erfahren. Am Ende können Sie über Leben und Tod des Hexers Karadin entscheiden. Wenn Sie ihn töten, wird Lambert Ihnen dabei helfen. Wenn nicht, wird Lambert zwar ziemlich wütend sein, aber es gibt keine weiteren Folgen.
An dieser Stelle ist die Quest abgeschlossen und Sie können sich wieder anderen Monstern widmen.

The Witcher

Until the end of the year, the premiere of The Witcher series, which is expected by fans and created by Netflix based on the darkly ironic fantasy by Andrzej Sapkowski, will premiere. The script for the TV series was prepared by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, known for adaptations of the comics Daredevil and The Defenders. After her appointment as a screenwriter, Lauren flew to Poland and discussed the film project with Sapkowski himself, the creator of the famous cycle.

The main role of the witcher Geralt of Rivia went to Henry Cavill, who previously played Superman in three Warner Brothers films.

The famous classic book «The Call of the Wild» by Jack London was published in 1903. The action takes place in the Yukon, gold miners then had a particularly high demand for large and strong dogs. The dog Buck, a descendant of a St. Bernard and a sheepdog, lived with a wealthy family in California until he was stolen and sold to Klondike gold miners. They made a sled dog out of Buck. The dog will have to change several good and bad owners, survive in the North, show loyalty and courage, lose his best friend and, in the end, become the leader of a wolf pack.

The film adaptation of 2019 will be the seventh one, and this time the Fox studio is making a tape in the live-action format (cartoon + movie). The project was directed by Chris Sanders, who already has a lot of wonderful animation works on his account: Lilo and Stitch, The Croods, How to Train Your Dragon.

The big-budget project features Harrison Ford, who will play the role of John Thornton.

“P. S. I still love you”

Netflix has already filmed Jeannie Khan’s book To All The Boys I’ve Loved, and last year the movie was a hit with viewers.

Lara Jean is 16 years old and never flaunts her feelings, but pours out her soul in letters that she keeps in a hatbox. Her letters are confessions to the guys she once loved. One day, all the messages find their recipients, and the girl’s life turns into a living hell: she has to avoid her best friend and sister, and then she falls in love with the most beautiful guy in the school and becomes his girlfriend, although Lara didn’t seem to want to fall in love with Peter.

But how much of Jeannie Khan’s book content didn’t make it into the hour and a half film. And Netflix is filming a sequel to To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2, which could hit screens as early as late 2019.

In the next part of the story, from the book “P.S. I still love you,” Lara realizes that her feelings are the most real. However, circumstances return the relationship with her childhood friend, to whom the girl also begins to feel sympathy. Can Lara Jean love two guys at the same time?

The main roles remained with the same actors — the charming Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.

Zuleikha opens her eyes

The first season of the series Zuleikha opens her eyes based on the wonderful book by Guzel Yakhina will start soon on the Rossiya channel. In 2015, this novel collected all the leading Russian literary awards: Big Book, Yasnaya Polyana, Book of the Year. The action of the series, like the book, takes place 10 years before the start of the Great Patriotic War. In the era of dispossession, the husband of the Tatar peasant woman Zuleikha is killed, and she herself is sent to Siberia. 30 exiles find themselves abandoned in the remote taiga without food or shelter. Peasants and intellectuals, «declassed elements» and criminals, Muslims and Christians, Russians, Tatars, Germans, Chuvashs — they all defend their right to life. Zuleikha finds the strength to go through all the trials.

For the filming of the series, a Siberian village was recreated 60 kilometers from Kazan, where the main action takes place. Starring Russian cinema stars Chulpan Khamatova, Sergei Makovetsky, Elena Shevchenko, Yulia Peresild.

The author of the novel, Guzel Yakhina, supervised and advised the filming.

You’re not to blame

This story by an American children’s writer was first published over 100 years ago, but is still popular today. After a sudden outbreak of cholera in India, 10-year-old Mary Lennox is left an orphan. She is sent to live in England with her wealthy uncle Lord Archibald, where she meets her peer, cousin Colin. Closed at first, the girl is transformed before our eyes thanks to the participation of new friends and the garden, with which some kind of gloomy secret is connected. Having learned to trust people, Mary helps Colin transform as well.

In the film adaptation, Uncle Archibald is played by Colin Firth, Mrs. Medlock’s housekeeper is Julie Walters (Billy Elliot, Brooklyn), and Mary is Dixie Egerikx from The Little Stranger and Patrick Melrose. The film is in the post-production stage and, we hope, will be released in late autumn.
