Simple, Fun, Great Community.

I’ve been playing this game daily for about 3 months now and I’m enjoying every bit of it! It’s a simple game that doesn’t take long hours to play, it does have a p2w aspect but in my opinion it has yet to take away the fun of the game. Also there are complaints about the energy but there is multiple ways to get more (without paying) and they helped that more in the new update. This is the first game I’ve played where you have almost a direct line to the devs, and they actually listen! This game may not be for everyone but give it a shot and join an ever growing community that’s ready and willing to help new players!

Thank you for the positive review! Your comments are very much appreciated. Should you have any thoughts or suggestions, please reach out to our Support Team via the in-game Support chat so we can improve Slash & Roll for you. Good luck, Roller!

Fun game but ruined by cheaters

The game is fun and for the most part the community is great with very little toxicity but with in the last update hackers/Cheaters have appeared and started to ruin the game the worst one I have run across is a player called Zagu24 from the guild TheGreatHempire he started playing the game for the first time today and went from level 1 to level 70 in around 4.5-5 hours. He never runs out of stamina and seems to only ever roll shields, criticals, or stamina meaning it’s pretty much impossible to do any damage to him since as soon as you bring his shield down he has his shield back instantly meaning he can consistently deal damage to opposing players while being immune to all damage those players while also pretty much instantly regain most if not all of his stamina. The guild that he is apart of has all wins and zero losses because of him and a few other cheaters carrying the guild to victory and the worst part is their is no way to contact the devs in game to report them meaning they have free reign to do as they please.

Thank you for providing your feedback about the game and your recent experience. We have checked the individual logs of the player you have mentioned and there is no reason to worry, as everything works correctly. Player level and energy can be increased in many ways, one of them is a season pass, daily energy, gifts from your teammates, and offers from the store. Should you have any more queries, please feel free to reach out to us again! Thank you for playing Slash & Roll!

Energy

Seeing many complaints about energy. I just recently got over level 100 and I feel the same way. The game is way more pay to win with only a 50 energy cap. People like Monday in NA spends a boat load of money on the game and wins every fights with 1m+ on each tower. There should be a system where you get a +1 cap with every level or increase the cap to 100 at least. Overall this game is very enjoyable but don’t be like the games that never get popularity with a heavy pay to win game learn from supercell. Thank you for reading this enjoy your day/night.

Thank you for providing your feedback about the game and your recent experience. Your comments are very much appreciated and will help us improve the game. Should you have any more thoughts or suggestions, please reach out to our Support Team via the in-game Support chat. Good luck, Roller!

MU Online is still alive after over two decades

MMORPGs came and went, but MU Online is still here. The player base has diminished since the glorious days of early 2000, however, Webzen is keeping the game fresh with updates and events. As a result, MU Online still has an active community.

If you like to slay monsters, grind for XP, and then do everything all over again, MU Online is the game for you.

Seasons are the main gameplay feature. Each season comes with new content and challenges. Time-limited events provide a nice distraction from the usual activities and an extra way to get rewards.

  • Developer: Webzen
  • Released: 2018
  • Platform: PC
  • For fans of Korean MMOs

Which era had the best games is a never-ending discussion but one thing we can all agree on is that 2018 had better graphics than 2001. Whether MU Legend, the MU Online sequel, is better than the predecessor might be a matter of personal taste, but the visuals are undeniably superior.

Other attractive features include early-level AOE abilities for all classes, character customization, and lots of content.

MU Legend has iconic MU activities such as the Endless Tower and Blood Castles. PvP options range from 1v1 duels to tournaments accommodating up to 16 guilds.

Hack and slash RPG games on PC

We have compiled a list of the best hack and slash RPG games on PC, in our opinion, especially for fans of brutal and dynamic hack and slash games.

The term hack’n’slash comes from D&D. This was the name of a particularly aggressive tabletop role-playing game, in which it was supposed to mercilessly and almost aimlessly destroy everything that moves in its path. Basically, violence for the sake of violence.

Of course, belonging to the RPG genre still obliges, so you can’t do without at least a simple plot. But complexity and intricacy will hurt him rather than vice versa, because the main focus of the player, whatever one may say, will be directed to the genocide of mobs, and not reflections on plot twists and vicissitudes of fate.

The Diablo series

Hardly anyone will be surprised by the fact that the immortal brainchild of Blizzard Entertainment confidently and inevitably leads our top. Diablo and Diablo II were among the first games that gamers from all over the world installed on brand new computers and now let out a nostalgic tear, remembering those times, and Diablo III was waiting for the second coming.

Whether or not the developers expected their creation to be such an overwhelming success, they did everything to ensure that the series gathered hordes of fans of colossal proportions and became an example of how games should be made. The second part of Diablo, which broke all sales records, completely immortalized its name in the Guinness Book of Records.

Despite the fact that the plot is based on the usual conflict between good and evil, the history of the world is really interesting. feelings.

Buy

Torchlight series

All hack’n’slash games are similar to Diablo to some extent, but in the case of Torchlight, this similarity is also due to the fact that the creators of this gaming industry legend had a hand in the series.

The plot revolves around a particularly important resource — ember. Ember is not only valuable, but also extremely dangerous: prolonged contact with the substance causes mutations and clouding of the mind. The player will have to travel through a multi-level world with several types of landscapes, earn money by killing monsters and enjoy the steampunk style.

As always, there are several classes and pets to choose from, which are pumped separately and, in addition to being useful in battle, can also go shopping instead of the player.

Buy

Grim Dawn

Grim Dawn was created by the same developers as the Titan Quest mentioned below. Although these projects are separated by ten years, the essence remains the same: you can ignore the plot, you will have to destroy hordes of monsters with enviable regularity, and you will have to dig through your inventory in an attempt to find the best kit with special diligence and care. Only now all this disgrace will take place not in the vastness of the ancient world, but in a gloomy steampunk universe.

As expected, the developers did not reinvent the wheel and focused on interesting leveling of the character, without adding any entertainment like chatting with a ghost, as in The incredible adventures of Van Helsing, or fishing, as in the second part of Torchlight.

Buy

Victor Vran

In Victor Vran there is no huge world to explore or a twisted plot, the main focus of the developers was on the mechanics. And they didn’t fail. They decided that the main problem with diablo-like games was the boring “stop and call mobs until you lose your pulse” type of combat. One could argue with this opinion, but the solution was really interesting.

Victor constantly jumps, somersaults, jumps right over the heads of enemies and writes out all sorts of pirouettes. As soon as he stops — game over. Moreover, there are no classes and a talent tree here at all, the skills of our hero completely depend on the chosen weapon, and it should be chosen based on the characteristics of a particular enemy. Victor also comes to the aid of special cards with different bonuses, so that a well-assembled deck can significantly change the situation in favor of the player.

Buy

Titan Quest

Titan Quest takes the player on an exciting tour of the ancient world, with the only caveat that mythical creatures and dangerous monsters are not the fruit of our ancestors’ imagination. Working on the problem of saving the world from the titans, you have to travel not only in Greece, but also in no less ancient Egypt, China.

The class of the hero is determined during the game, so you have the opportunity to solve this problem by trying different chips and choosing the direction of development. Loot from mobs falls out in an indecent amount, so if you want to steal everything from the battlefield, you will have to teleport more than once to one of the available cities to the merchant. Fortunately, there is no problem with teleportation. In addition, the user-friendly interface, development branches and a nice picture are pleasing to the fans of the genre.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series

Of course, you already know Van Helsing, and now you have to get acquainted with his son, who goes to Eastern Europe to pacify the undead undead. He is accompanied by the ghost of Lady Katarina, a family friend. Thanks to the caustic comments of this lady, the gameplay becomes livelier and more interesting.

The developers did a great job on the world: they seasoned the gloomy and oppressive gothic atmosphere with steampunk, added not only werewolves and vampires, but also organically fitting steam robots to the world, generously flavoring all this with interesting dialogues, which is a rarity for the genre, and a bunch of references.

What let us down was the interface. Even veterans of such games will hardly be able to figure it out right away, and there is simply no sane tutorial here.

Path of Exile

Path of Exile has found refuge for those who are already tired of Diablo 3, and, I must say, for the most part were satisfied.

The game takes you to the gloomy and forgotten by all the gods continent Wraeclast, where all sorts of monsters and vile creatures roam, absolutely not embarrassed. But in addition to these creatures, with whom it is never boring, all those objectionable to society are also exiled here, using Wraeclast as a prison. And you are not lucky enough to be one of the outcasts sent here to certain death.

The plot is quite simple: there is some ancient evil that has not yet raised its nightmarish head, and it is necessary to somehow prevent it from doing so. The division into classes here is conditional, since there are no separate development branches, there is a common talent tree, but it is huge. In general, the project is interesting, pleases with a non-standard atmosphere, the implementation of the economy and the role component. You can download the game for free on Steam.

Play

Sacred Series

The Sacred series of hack and slash games began in 2004. The first part tells about the eternal confrontation between darkness and light and forces the player to go around the entire fantasy world of Ancaria, first as a diplomat, and then as a warrior of goodness and collector of artifacts.

The events of the second part take you two millennia back. But the essence of this does not change much: choose a side, do evil or do good, cut-kill. Sacred 3 takes place a thousand years after the first part, and you will have to confront the empire of the evil lord Zane Ashen.

Leveling in Sacred is quite traditional: there is a certain set of stats that need to be increased as you level up, and secondary characteristics also increase. The choice of characters is also simple and straightforward: there are melee fighters, a long-range archer and magicians, while all of them have an interesting and sometimes non-standard set of skills.

Buy Now

Dungeon Siege Series

If you liked the In the Name of the King trilogy, you might want to play Dungeon Siege, because it was the game that inspired the filmmakers. The first part, released back in 2002, critics vying with each other sang praises. But, as often happens, the developers began to gradually run out of steam, and the final third part turned out to be so-so and was met with a cool.

There are really many different kinds of amenities in DS. One cannot but rejoice at the integrity of the world and the amusing theatrical effects used by monsters jumping out of the bushes. And the pumping system is completely beautiful: here you won’t be able to manually scatter stats, those skills that you regularly use are pumped. From this, the class becomes an ephemeral concept — if yesterday you fought off hordes of monsters with a sword, and today you decided to throw fireballs to the right and left, your class will change, and your skills will be different.

Loki: Heroes of Mythology

Loki is an attempt by the developers from Cyanide Studio, who previously specialized mainly in car simulators, to take the throne, but which has been sitting for many years by the brainchild of Blizzard — Diablo. Or at least stand next to him. Whether this attempt was successful, it is impossible to say for sure.

As for its time, and the game was released in 2007, everything looks pretty nice. The plot is as simple as possible, and tells about the confrontation between good and evil. You can participate in it in the guise of a Greek huntress, an Aztec priestess, a stern northern warrior or a magician from the desert. From this choice depends on whose home location you start your journey.

It is possible that during the passage of Loki you will begin to develop claustrophobia, because crowds of monsters gather in a very limited space. By the way, the level of coolness of the loot does not depend on the level of cruelty of the mobs, so you can get powerful weapons and armor almost immediately, which negates the entire balance.

What sets Loki apart from similar projects is the system of sacrifices. Different deities are responsible for different skills here, which will have to be appeased in order to get their support.

Lost Ark

Lost Ark has been a long time coming: the developers promised stunning graphics, an unforgettable story and impressive gameplay with eighteen classes, each with a unique play style. In addition, the game was supposed to get a huge world, a lot of peaceful activities, including marine content, and isometric combat in the spirit of Diablo.

What they promised, they delivered: Lost Ark really captures, but there are some drawbacks, such as a small viewing radius and monetization misses, traditional for Russian localizers. Nevertheless, this is perhaps the only MMO diabloid worthy of attention.

Play

Last Epoch

An action role-playing game dedicated to clearing dungeons, upgrading characters and traveling through time. The developers have prepared an interesting story, a well-thought-out leveling system that allows you to start with a base class and develop it in the direction of the specialization chosen by the player, as well as the ability to influence the state of the game world by making certain decisions. By the time it leaves early access, Last Epoch should also get multiplayer modes.

Royal Quest

Cute MMORPG from the authors of the cult «Space Rangers», which combines an interesting world, intense battles in the style of the immortal Diablo, a minimalist stylish picture and good humor.

Royal Quest loses to other projects from this collection in terms of novelty, but in terms of gameplay it is a very good hack’n’slash action with a lot of activities and deep player involvement.

Play

Vikings – Wolves of Midgard

Diabloid in a Scandinavian setting, an action role-playing game that will take players to the shores of Midgard, where they, in the role of harsh Vikings, will have to fight the terrible monsters of Ragnarok.

The game supports local and online co-op, offers tons of loot and incessant battles, and the game world surprises with a mixture of different cultures and myths. However, it is worth noting that Vikings — Wolves of Midgard will not please you with an open world, and the dynamics of the battle leaves much to be desired.

Buy

Warhammer: Chaosbane

A game set in the fantasy universe of Warhammer, where humans, dwarves and elves will have to unite to fight back the demonic invasion. There are five classes with unique skills to choose from in Warhammer: Chaosbane, and against them the game exposes more than 70 types of opponents, including ordinary monsters and powerful bosses.

You can fight in online and local co-op, and the passage of the story campaign does not mean the end of the story — the game has many dungeons, additional challenges and boss battles that will extend the adventure.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr

A game set in the Warhammer fantasy universe, in which players will find gloomy corridors of spaceships and vast expanses of distant planets teeming with numerous enemies of the Imperium.

Martyr offers a massive campaign with galactic travel and bloody battles, co-op, the ability to level up characters to suit your playstyle, and detailed crafting. W40k fans will find the atmosphere of their favorite universe here, while the rest will surely be impressed by the brutal action and interesting storyline.

Laplace

Laplace is a grinder MMO with co-op, dungeons and multiple character classes to choose from. Players are waiting for simple but cute anime graphics, famously twisted plot, fun battles and ample pumping opportunities. But you should know that there is no localization even for English, so you have to deal with Chinese characters.

Play

Minecraft Dungeons

Diablo for the little ones, a co-op action game set in the Minecraft universe where players will explore a variety of biomes and fight the minions of the insidious Arch-Illager.

The game showed promise, but in fact offers uncomplicated gameplay with primitive pumping and non-interactive environment. However, all is not lost: this is a good diabloid for those who want to thoughtlessly crush cubic monsters or introduce people who are not familiar with video games to this type of media entertainment.

Buy Now

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

This hack’n’slash RPG is distinguished, first of all, by beautiful graphics — the CryEngine engine, known for its capabilities, is responsible for the picture here. As for the gameplay, there is a classless development system, attacks can be combined into chains of combos, and skills can be configured as required by the style of the game. The start of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem was not smooth, but now the game is able to bring positive emotions.

Echo of War

A client-side MMORPG in which players work together to repel a demonic invasion in a fantasy-antique world. Despite the small amount of content, Echo of War can be recommended to those who are looking for something to keep themselves busy for a couple of evenings — modest system requirements, non-stop battles and fiddling with pets are enough to keep the game interesting.

SoulWorker

SoulWorker is an anime PvE-focused MMORPG that lets you slash packs of monsters solo or in a team of 4. There are 4 female and 2 male characters to choose from — and as anime befits, the girls’ weapons here are clearly not girlish, but guys … just guys. Each such class has a unique set of attacks and skills, as befits an RPG.

Hundreds of dungeons await you in the game, during the clearing of which you will please your eyes or provoke an epileptic attack, because thanks to the cel-shader animation and hack and slash mechanics, the battles turned out to be rich in color and action. Invite your friends right now, because the game is free.

Hades

In the roguelike genre, which can be called «lite RPG», there are often games whose gameplay is also built around «slash and slash». For example, in Hades, in each of the rooms that you have to clear in order to complete the game, dozens of opponents await you, and thanks to the hero’s mobility and fast recharging of skills, the battles turned out to be very effective.

You will learn the story of the prince of the underworld, who is trying to escape from the underground house to freedom. The game is based on Greek mythology, and it has so many virtues that it became not only the best indie of 2020, but also the best game of that year in general.

Dead Cells

A Dark Souls-style hardcore combat roguelike that invites you to play as a headless warrior who has risen from the dead and embarks on an adventure through a changing castle. This campaign will be full of pain and suffering — there are many enemies, the battles are fast, and the only mistake will send you to the beginning.

The weapon system in Dead Cells is a pleasant surprise — you can deal with enemies with the help of melee, ranged or magic. Like Hades, this game is deservedly considered one of the best in its field, and it will certainly appeal to fans of hack and slash.

Spiral Knights

Elderly isometric RPG Spiral Knights will be a great opportunity to write to friends, because this game invites you to go on a joint adventure through a fantasy world. In the role of funny knights, you will clear the dungeons, where traps, puzzles and crowds of monsters await you.

The main feature of the game is the constantly changing world. The locations seem to “live” here, as they change their appearance in real time, which throws up various challenges for gamers. We also note hundreds of unique types of equipment and weapons, MMO elements and the pleasant fact that you can download the game for free.

The Slormancer

This 2D pixelated action RPG is a treat for fans of the old-school genre, with tons of Diablo-style content and combat (and grind in the same vein). The game is not devoid of humor — for example, they offer to play for a «ridiculous» magician, archer or knight, and the inhabitants of the hub village turned out to be, to put it mildly, strange. However, your main attention will be focused on hot battles.

By tons of content we mean over 200 upgradeable skills, around 120 weapons per class and over 80 modifiers for them, as well as procedurally generated worlds. In general, do not get bored.

Chronicon

Be careful — once you start playing Chronicon, you risk disappearing into it for several real months. It’s an indie «diabloid» with nice pixel art that offers classic adventures for the genre with dungeon clearing, leveling, multiple playable classes and endless content. Due to the abundance of skills and the possibility of pumping them, battles do not cease to bother even after tens of hours of passage.

Rune Knights

Third-person co-op action RPG that forgoes storytelling in favor of action-packed gameplay. At its core, this is a «looter RPG» in which you will constantly look for the best equipment, clearing one dungeon after another. There are 8 classes to choose from, the skills of which can be mixed, and “passing” for one hero will take about 20 hours.

The game is praised for the combat system, pumping and co-op, but scolded for the monotonous locations. A great game for those who love «looters» or are looking for a way to spend time with friends.

Action Taimanin

Like SoulWorker, Action Taimanin uses the anime style and is free to play, but… we recommend that you keep the kids away from the screen, because here the characters are sexy girls with provocative outfits, and in general the content in the game pulls on 18+.

Nevertheless, you won’t have to stare for a long time, because here, just like in other games of the collection, dynamic battles with dozens of opponents at the same time await you. The game was created based on the anime series «Demon Hunter».

Taichi Panda — hurricane slash-RPG with online

MMORPG is perhaps one of the most massive and popular game genres in the world. Appearing along with Ultima Online, released back in 1996, the MMORPG genre has been improving every year and acquiring more and more new «buns». And more recently, it has also jumped to mobile operating systems, which made the majority of game-loving users of smartphones and other gadgets incredibly happy. Today’s hero is the mobile MMORPG «Taiji Panda», released recently by the well-known company Snail Games.

Since the game is online, the first thing it will do is download the update package and prompt you to register. Next, choose a character class. At the moment, there are five classes in the game — Brave Warrior, Fox Fox, Taiji Panda, Treasure Hunter and Rogue Jack. Of course, each class has unique abilities.

Now that we have created the character, we can start playing. Of course, after appropriate training. By the way, it is a bit long, but it will be very difficult to play without it, if not impossible.

Like most MMORPGs, Taiji Panda has a starting point for missions — the main location, so to speak. There are artisans, merchants and other NPCs distributing quests here. Both mandatory storylines and side ones, which are optional. Here you can also dress up your hero, set up his inventory, choose a pet, chat with real players in the chat and do many, many more interesting things.

For example, the «Backpack» button will open the character’s inventory. Here you can see the loot that the player has collected during the passage of quests, customize equipment, and improve it in several ways.

By clicking the «Quests» button, you can go to the menu of current quests. Both story and side quests are displayed here, as well as the corresponding rewards for them.

If you click on a quest, the hero will run to the desired character and start a dialogue. Quite convenient. After all, it can be very problematic to find the NPC you need for the quest among the abundance of not only non-player characters, but also live players scurrying around the location back and forth.

There are a lot of buttons in the game. At first, it even seems that the developers went too far with various functions, hanging the game with a bunch of unnecessary content. However, this is an MMO, and with each new level, almost any button that previously seemed useless becomes necessary. Here, by the way, is another reason not to neglect training.

The game’s graphics are excellent, especially for a mobile MMO. You can even say that «Taiji Panda» in terms of picture quality is quite capable of competing with «big» games of this kind from PCs or consoles. Dynamic lighting, shadows, many beautiful and bright special effects. At the same time, even budget smartphones can cope with the game. And if it still slows down, you can turn it off in the “High Quality” settings. The picture, of course, will become a little worse, but the hardware of the smartphone will be unloaded, adding the desired frames per second to the game.

The soundtrack in the game is very high quality and pleasant. The music at times reminds of good old RPGs from distant Japan, which is good news. After all, usually the music in mobile MMOs leaves much to be desired, limited to fanfare and some boring monotonous melody that sounds throughout the game.

In short, if you are a fan of MMOs, and just role-playing games, Taiji Panda will definitely interest you.
