Sandbox mmo android: Looking for a sandbox mmorpg for android : MMORPG

(«real») MMORPGs for Android (and maybe iOS?). No p2w/VIP crap! [List, suggestions, recommendations] + links. : MMORPG

So a small introduction: At the beginning I wasn’t really interested in mobile MMORPGs, I guess I was a “hardcore” player pretty much and I’m afraid that most of mobile mmorpgs are casual and full of crap. Then I saw that a MMO (currently in beta; Life is Feudal) has a very interesting idea. An android application that is separate from the main MMO and it has many mini games from which you can keep the score and then use it in the actual MMO game for faster gathering etc. Unfortunately this idea is in hiatus pretty much now, but it got me interested in mobile MMORPGs and their potential. I also wanted to be able to play a game on the go, while not being home at PC, so eventually I’ve discovered many different games for mobiles. I’ve seen many people asking on forums about android MMOs and many more saying that there aren’t any decent, or that all of them are p2w. Which is definitely not true!

I detest the p2w/VIP, auto-play crap that infests the genre now. The less the windows/options on the top right the best!

So here is my list with my suggestions, I’ll be starting with the hidden gems/ the most unknown and will be advancing to the most popular ones. I’m gonna include additional information for some of them, as I’ve played/tested/read about them and for some I will not.

Most of them have a high/low fantasy setting (not many sci-fi) and are RPGs (not strategy etc) but I also include some with those specifications. Most of them (if not all) are playable with Android, I’m not sure about iOS.

Some of them are downloadable from the google play market as apks, some others are not in google play and some are browser based MMOs (Puffin browser app is suggested to play those! It’s free!).

Some of them are old (dating even back to 1980) some are brand new and some are on testing phase or not even out yet. Most of them are F2P with micro-transactions (unfortunately some have slight P2W elements). There are a few which are B2P, or premium with monthly subscription and even one that it’s based on cryptocurrency!

On the name of the games I’m including the link on the official site/where to download them or find more info.

Hidden gems/ Unknown good MMOs for mobile:

Eternal Lands: Very in-depth 3D MMO, fair F2P, you can check all of its features and more details on the link for android. The UI is not 100% suited for smartphones (at least the last time I’ve played). It has a small but very dedicated community.

Teon: An “All fair Hardcore online ARPG” as advertised, and I think I agree. A full-fledged MMO (kinda reminds me of Lineage II but that’s just me), it has PvE (quests, dungeons/bosses), strict open-PvP and free character development. It also has optional subscription allowing you access to some “member zones”, it’s not P2W tho.

Mystera Legacy: Old school 2D style sandbox MMO. Many features, PvE & PvP. Currently in Beta, but lots of content already in. link to google play

Mirage Realms: F2P 2D MMORPG, hack’n’slash, currently in Beta. Kinda feels like RotMG. As dev described; “Zelda Lttp combined with World of Warcraft and Harvest moon”.

Little War Online: It has its own unique setting, fast-paced targetless combat. Currently in Beta.

Kingdom of Drakkar: Forum’s link for apk download. Really old MMO (started in 1980s!). Lots of features, still get’s updated. Link of a nice article from massively about it.

RPG MO: Oldschool, sandbox cross-platform MMORPG.

Angels & Orcs online: 2D MMO with «unique art style», PvE & PvP, currently in beta. Haven’t tested it yet.

Margonem (Browser Based).

FlameFrost Legacy: (Browser Based) More like RTS, with turn-based like battles. Very in-depth, many features, influenced by D&D in some aspects.

Noblemen:1896: MMORTS game taking place in 1896. It’s military/war themed strategy game in which you can also fight in battles with shooter-combat type. *Found this game thanks to u/NimbleThor who creates some great tl;dr android game reviews quite often, check his profile for more.

Durango Wild lands: The first true survival sandbox MMO in the list. Currently is in-beta (but downloadable and playable from google store). The publisher is gonna be Nexon, which is both good and bad. Good because it’s a very big company with many successful titles but many of which are slight to extremely P2W! Now about Durango so far is an amazing game. True survival/sandbox/building MMO with dinosaurs. Nice combat, lots of content, PvP and more. So far in betas there was no shop at all, but almost sure this gonna change on release, have to see what they gonna add and how the monetization will be. It’s expected to release soon.

More survival based MMOs: Zombie Raiders Beta: I used to play this game a lot, but I’m afraid that now is pretty much abandoned. Anyway, it’s a very good survival/crafting/sandbox MMO with zombies, feels like rust in some aspects but with a lot less features. Not really p2w, back when I was playing it was infested with hackers, I doubt that it has been fixed since then…

Last Day on Earth: Survival: Same genre pretty much, survival/sandbox with zombies, besides this one is not abandonware, it still gets updated. It’s not really open world and it doesn’t actually plays like a MMO. I also felt like it got very repetitive at some point, but you can try out, its F2P without extreme P2W.

Survival Island Online: Fantasy setting (no zombies).

Pokemon-based MMOs: Now I think that this is not really widely known, but there are many pokemon MMOs out there and afaik most of them are really good and most of them browser-based, thus playable from mobiles.

Personally I’ve played Pokemon-Planet online from my android device and it was a perfect experience.

Another one is Pokemon Revolution, which also has a dedicated android apk (and I think is the only one of those that does).

Afaik they are all 100% F2P with cosmetic shops and little to none p2w.

There are many more (PokeMMO g.e. is another well-known), you can search for yourself if you’re interested.

Getting on more popular ones:

Realm of the mad God: The rather popular to all game. Action Combat, great PvE & PvP. It has browser-based client, tested with android (with puffer) and works great.

Vendetta Online: A very solid sci-fi MMORPG, rather similar to EVE, but it has twitch-based action FPS combat! It’s been out for many years now on PC and it still gets updated frequently. It has sandbox world/features, good combat and alot of content.

Warspear Online: Mildly p2w, heavy grind, great PvP, old game (some aspects are outdated but lots of content), big community.

Order and Chaos 2 (and 1): One of the most popular and successful mobile MMOs. Inspired by WoW, has PvE (raids, dungeons etc), PvP and lots of other content. Pretty generic for my likes.

Crusaders of Light: Launched recently. It’s a very decent full MMO experience, similar to Order and Chaos, inspired by WoW.

Celtic Heroes: Similar to the previous 2, but in a Nordic/Viking setting.

AdventureQuest 3D: Similar to the previous ones, it’s a basic complete 3D cross-platform MMO based on the setting of the classic, old AdventureQuest games. Many frequent updates.

Villagers and Heroes: It’s a cross platform game, been out on pc for many years and recently released for mobiles. It’s a great MMO, heavily focused on PvE and Crafting/Gathering. It doesn’t have any PvP (so far), but lots of other gameplay options.

Albion Online: A cross platform sandbox MMO. It has good combat, hardcore PvP with full loot, arenas, guild conflicts (GvG) and large fights (ZvZ). Complete PvE with bosses, expeditions and dungeons. Lots of crafting and gathering with a player-based economy. Careful though, it’s suggested to do simpler activities with mobile devices (PvE, gathering/crafting) and not anything risky.

Dofus Touch: Dofus is a rather successful old pc MMORPG. Now it has ported to mobiles, it features turn-based strategy combat, many unique classes, PvE with player-based economy, PvP and more. UI is kinda small for mobiles (last time I’ve checked). It has separate servers from Dofus the main PC MMO.

Tibia: Just like Dofus, a very good MMORPG ported to mobile. Not all features are the same like the classic one and also it has separate servers for mobiles.

Asobimo’s Inc. MMOs: Asobimo inc is a developer/ publisher of many decent MMOs. Most of them are Eastern-type games (influenced by Asian art and gameplay), which means that they have some p2w aspects but overall they are decent. They all have a big playerbase. 2 of them I liked more: Toram Online: Great for PvE (doesn’t have PvP) Avabel Online: Great for PvP.

They have published and developed many others. g.e: Stellacept Online(sci-fi/dragons theme), Izanagi Online(ninjas theme), Iruna Online

You can find them all here.

Spacetime Studios: Another studio that have released several good mobile MMOs. From Pocket Legends being their oldest, which is a very good, complete MMORPG and Pocket Legends Adventures their newest, which is more action based but more like a co-op game.

Other games of theirs: Star Legends (sci-fi setting), Dark Legends (vampires/horror setting), Arcane Legends (fantasy). Find them all here.

All of them have slight p2w aspects.

RuneScape: Good ol’ Runescape. I think most of you know about it. There are 2 active versions of it. OSRS and RS3, both have long and great questlines, skill grinding and a thriving community with the first version focusing more on PvP and the second on PvE afaik. Jagex (the developer) recently announced that they’ll be ported on mobiles sharing the same servers as PC. OSRS is coming sooner (early 2018) with RS3 following shortly after.

Now the reason that I’ve included RS in this list and not in the last with the unreleased/upcoming games, as both versions of RS currently are in strict closed beta tests, is because there is a private ClassicRS (RSC) server which has a dedicated android app: RSCRevolution.

More (decent) MMORPGs from googleplay store:

3D/Newer ones: World of Prandis, Crasher

2D/Oldschool type: Graal Online , Forgotten Tales, Rucoy Online , WinterSun

Upcoming/Not yet released:

Official Runescapes

Blossom & Decay(Browser based, combat demo is out and playable)

Endyr (Browser based),

Mad World (Browser Based – HTML5)

Therion Saga: Not the typical MMO, more like RTS like Might & Magic H but online. It has many features and options of gameplay. Right now It’s possible to play with windows phone or if you manage to install Silverlight on Android somehow. Altought devs said that they will work on an android version.

The current “trend” that’s going on right now with mobile MMORPGs. Very popular and rather successful PC MMORPGs, mostly from Asian countries, that are based on well-known franchises are developing a mobile version. It has started with MU Origin, Lineage II Revolution and ArcheAge Begins (all of which are out already) and many more are going to follow; Black Desert Mobile, Tera M, Blade & Soul Revolution, Icarus M, Aion Tempest, SAO: Integral Factor, Linage II M, Final Fantasy XI ,Mabinogi Mobile and very likely more that I’ve forgot or I’m not aware of. In my opinion, some of them do have some potential, they got interesting features and aspects but I’m afraid that most likely they are going to be the generic, 3D good-looking, “action combat” Asian P2W auto quest/battle grind fests. Tbh I’m not really excited for them (maybe only for Mabinogi? Will see…)

I’ll be updating the thread with anything new or any additional info I may find. Feel free to contribute with your information or games that you’re aware of so I add them in the list. Either popular or not games, help expand this list!

The best sandbox games you can play in 2023

A Sandbox is one of those beautifully varied and diverse genres spanning countless creative concepts and gameplay loops, making up some of the best Android games out there. From expansive overworlds full of adventure and possibility to in-depth creation tools for unleashing your artistic side, sandbox games always manage to be engaging.

Sandbox games grant a unique sense of freedom, so pairing them with the latest Android phones and the best Android tablets seems like a no-brainer. The freedom to do what you want when you want (in a game, anyway). So if you like to build, explore, create, and destroy while waiting for the bus, look no further than today’s sandbox game roundup.

The Escapists: Prison Escape

Source: Google Play Store

A prison setting might seem antithetical to the idea of a sandbox full of rules and restrictions. The Escapists: Prison Escape, however, makes the most of its setting through strategic gameplay, fetching graphics, and a plethora of movie references. You have been incarcerated in one of six prisons for an unspecified crime, and your goal is to escape. You interact with other prisoners to forge alliances, pick fights, and acquire items for use in your escape attempts.

The rub is that random cell inspections can occur at any time, and should the guards find contraband or a gaping hole in your cell wall, it’s all over. Ruining a ton of progress because of one mistake is harsh, but adds a sense of realism to the setting. So if you find the more challenging and improvisational aspects of a sandbox appealing, The Escapists: Prison Escape should not go unnoticed.

Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition

Source: Google Play Store

It’s always nice when a game’s title is also the instruction manual. Sporting a foreboding, gothic aesthetic, Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition drops you into a dark, hostile environment with nothing but the clothes on your back. You must craft tools, light sources, and food to not starve; these tools also help you not get murdered by monsters.

You are given no instruction upon spawning and must organically figure out which tufts of grass will create something useful when rubbed together. An interesting feature is your situation’s hopelessness. This alien and hostile world will take you eventually, creating a unique, strange sense of paranoia for a survival game. If having your survival skills pushed to the limit in the great and terrible outdoors sounds appealing, Don’t starve: pocket edition’s quality shines through.

Terraria

Source: Google Play Store

Often described as the 2D version of Minecraft, Terraria is similar in concept to Mojang’s famous title. However, Terraria contains several marked differences that suffice to make it unique. The gameplay consists of mining up precious resources and crafting them into tools, all while constructing and improving your spawn point on the surface. However, unlike Minecraft, you cannot simply waltz around the surface and become a millionaire. In Terraria, mining is where the excitement lies. Rarer treasures lie deeper in the earth, so you’re incentivized to dig deep.

This is also where the crazier and creepier enemies can be found. Giant slimes, worms, and eyeball creatures infest these depths, guarding the valuable equipment. The excitement of delving deeper into the unknown, combined with the sheer number of things to be crafted makes Terraria very absorbing. For those with a pension for cute pixel art and complex sandbox gameplay, Terraria’s figurative and literal depth saves it from being buried.

SimCity BuildIt

Source: Google Play Store

For the uninitiated, The Sims is a life simulation game where you build your own home and family, watching them live and love. The games (some better than others) focus on extensive customization and personalization of the assets created by the player. SimCity BuildIt expands the scope, so players construct a metropolis with banks, schools, and fire hydrants. As mayor of the city, your task is to provide public services like power, water, education, and sanitation and generally keep the place from burning down.

Expansion of the city is your responsibility; failure will result in your citizens leaving, reducing the tax budget you have to work with. A feature brought back from the original SimCity is the city-sharing system, allowing you to trade resources with other players’ cities, adding another layer of complexity. Those familiar with the series will catch on quickly, and the game has great tutorials for newcomers. So if you like the sound of a quirky civilization-style game with garbled nonsense dialogue from NPCs, SimCity BuildIt is well worth the investment.

Crashlands: Story-driven Craft

Source: Google Play Store

What do you get when you take the ‘starve’ out of Don’t Starve? You get Crashlands: Story-driven Craft, a top-down exploration and crafting game emphasizing tighter combat. Your character is an interstellar trucker who has crashed into an alien world and must gather the resources to complete her deliveries. The combat takes center stage as the most interesting gameplay mechanic; attacks are controlled by a finger swipe which is also how the player character is moved. This results in a fun, real-time combat system of bobbing and weaving between enemies and their unsubtly telegraphed attacks.

Unlike most survival games, however, Crashlands does not have you manage an inventory. Loot is acquired bottomlessly, which is handy for crafting new armor sets. If Don’t Starve was a little too bleak for you, Crashland’s simpler crafting philosophy and action-packed combat definitely stick the landing.

Payback 2 — The Battle Sandbox

Source: Google Play Store

An impressive title in terms of scale, Payback 2 — The Battle Sandbox offers a genuine mobile Grand Theft Auto-like experience. All in aid of rising through the ranks of a criminal hierarchy, campaign missions feature the usual GTA trappings such as gunfights, car chases, gunfight car chases, and the occasional tank mission.

The game is complete with campaign missions in three different sandbox maps, multiplayer missions with other players replacing bots, and challenge modes that award medals based on player performance. The graphics are somewhat lacking, but not to the point of being distracting. For GTA lovers, this game is a must.

Minecraft

Source: Google Play Store

Can’t go wrong with a classic; Minecraft has become emblematic of the survival crafting genre. Its iconic blocky textures and terrain design complement the versatile movement controls enjoyed by both the player and the mobs. While there is a final boss and a win condition, the pure sandbox nature of Minecraft’s world means this is rarely the player’s objective.

Players can mine, farm, barter, and explore, all to improve equipment and create new structures and inventions. The combat is cathartic and fun, and the enemies manage to be endearing while still being a tangible threat. The mobile version of Minecraft is now on par with the Console and PC versions, so there’s never been a better time to revisit one of the original survival crafting video games.

8. Square Valley

2 Images

If SimCity leaves you wanting something a little more pastoral, Square Valley is a good choice. Characterized as the mythical spirit of the valley, the player must improve the living conditions of the valley’s citizens and meet their demands, from planting apple trees to pulling new islands from the sea. These citizens give you a talking-to right away, demanding that we do not “disappoint.” Probably the first god game where you get scolded before you burn anything down.

The assets and facilities required by the settlements take the form of tiles to be placed on a map grid. Rivers and paths must be worked around to appease your entitled citizens. Wise decisions will yield more points, making it easier to meet the levels’ quota, requiring careful consideration from the player. If a contemplative experience is what you have in mind, unlike us, apparently, Square Valley does not disappoint.

Godus

Remember From Dust? Godus is the same kind of deal, a sandbox creativity toy based around terrain alteration and doting on mortals with zero survival instincts. You play as the deity worshiped by a race of PS1 resolution followers; your task is to enrich their lives with economic prosperity. This task makes up the primary loop, assisting your worshipers in expanding and improving their society, everything from flattening down solid terrain for construction to magicking rain to fall on crops.

The game also gives you the option to rain down fiery meteors on your society and burn it to the ground, leaning into that ‘the player giveth and the player taketh away’ kind of mentality that comes naturally to god games. Despite this slightly psychotic gameplay prospect, Godus is very stylized and pretty, easy to control with a touch interface, and clearly understands that some players just want to watch their world burn.

Evertech Sandbox

To end on a simple but promising note, Evertech Sandbox is a creativity tool that allows you to construct crazy and convoluted vehicles. You are given a blank canvas and a huge library of parts for a potential vehicle. But sticking these parts together does not make a car. You have to micromanage which parts interact with which via an in-game interface. Once you’ve connected the mad gadget, you are given the opportunity to drive it around a field.

This is a good time to mention that this game is in early alpha, so more detailed maps to drive around are probably in the pipeline. Evertech Sandbox also offers a sharing mechanic that allows players to upload their own creations and download others. Overall, the process of building vehicles has the same tinkering charm that Minecraft contraptions present, and if that’s your thing, this game will hook you effortlessly.

Enjoy creative experiences made for mobile devices

One great thing about sandbox games and modern games, in general, is the constant refinement and updates they receive. It means that however much to like a particular game’s content, it will inevitably gain more, and what is already playable will be improved. So you’ll never have to worry about getting bored.

The best survival games on the Play Store benefit from being developed for some of the best android phones for gaming. Touch interfaces and graphical compromise ensures a superiorly smooth and comfortable experience for a mobile device. Those tedious morning commutes melt away when you have a good game to absorb you, and these great sandbox games might be the thing to make you miss your stop.

top best open world sandboxes

Sandboxes are a whole genre of video games that do not limit the player’s actions and offer to create, create and create again!

Here the player is not limited in his actions by the plot, boring corridor locations and other gameplay elements. All you need is to unleash your imagination and create using the presented tools. We present a selection of the best sandbox games for Android.

Minecraft

Minecraft needs no introduction — it is rightfully one of the best sandboxes, which had the honor of opening this collection. If this is your first time hearing about the game, let’s briefly imagine: this is a survival simulator in which the player is invited to get comfortable in a huge open world, collect resources and look for a place to sleep while hiding from zombies and skeletons.

One of the features of Minecraft is its world, which consists of pixel cubes. Each of them can be destroyed — thus, the gamer can deform any surface for any purpose (building a house, searching for rare materials in caves). Like the desktop version, this one supports online play. nine0003

Portal Knights

Portal Knights has inherited some elements from Minecraft — here you can also extract resources and use blocks to build a reliable home. But the similarities end there, because Portal Knights is also an RPG with a choice of classes, pumping and battles with monsters and their bosses.

The player will have to travel through three-dimensional sandbox worlds, where you can stay if you like the local flora and fauna, or continue the adventure. The game has a creative mode in which you can not get hung up on battles and just create by sculpting your own island piece by piece. nine0003

Survival on Raft

Sandboxes aren’t just about games like Minecraft and Portal Knights. This genre is often represented by harsh open-world survival simulators. And if in Minecraft this mechanic is background, then in Survival on Raft it is fundamental.

Plane crash. Only one person manages to survive, being on a raft in the middle of the endless ocean. Taking on such a difficult role, the player will take on survival in harsh conditions — he will have to find food and water, improve the raft, create weapons and build a shelter. In addition to thirst and hunger, bloodthirsty sharks can take life. nine0003

The Escapist series

The Escapist are pixel prisoner simulators. Trying on an orange robe, the gamer will try to escape from various prisons (and even from the train), but he decides how exactly. Therefore, this game is in our selection — it offers a lot of tools and tools, but does not directly say how to achieve the goal.

For example, a player can take out a file and, under cover of night, make a hole in a fence. Or get a shovel and dig a tunnel while others quietly rest in their cells. You can dress up as a security guard, make a riot, climb into the ventilation shaft … And how do you imagine escaping from prison? nine0003

Trial The Escapist The Escapist 2

Gangstar Vegas

Gangstar Vegas is a clone of GTA from the well-known company Gameloft. In the role of a gangster, the player will be in Las Vegas, the streets of which do not cease to shine at night. And here you can do whatever your heart desires — complete tasks, participate in races, steal cars, arrange robberies, challenge other gangs and just travel around the open world.

Of course, these are not all activities — there are even zombies and monsters here, which will also not let you get bored. In addition to a variety of content, the game will please you with good graphics for mobile phones, and therefore we recommend downloading it for Android. nine0003

Roblox

Where there is Minecraft, there must be Roblox. This game is most suitable for the description of the sandbox, because here users can create entire game worlds and have fun with others. First-person shooter, driving racing, RPG based on your favorite series, rollercoaster rides — the content of the world is limited only by the gamer’s imagination. If the head doesn’t cook and you don’t feel like inventing something, the player can join the adventures of others. nine0003

Roblox is a cross-platform game. That is, it doesn’t matter what device is used — an Android smartphone, a computer, an Xbox One console — you can still play with friends on the same server.

Download

Terraria

A pixel platform sandbox game in which the player is also invited to survive and create in an open world that is randomly generated. He can build a shelter of any kind and turn it into a city, craft items and go to the mines, where whole adventures await him. nine0003

Particular attention is paid to going to the dungeons — there are over 20 biomes, 300 enemies and 15 bosses, and the caves themselves are intricate labyrinths. You can put on a variety of armor, and the weapons here are impressive in their variability. No wonder, because in Terraria there are over 3500 items.

Super WorldBox

Crashlands is an isometric adventure game in which the player will set off to conquer a fantasy world. The gameplay includes the mechanics already familiar to us — the extraction of resources, battles with local residents, the construction of shelters and others. However, Crashlands cannot be called a “clone” of anything, because there is a unique visual style here, and the developers managed to twist the idea of traveling in a fantasy world to the maximum. nine0003

The Sandbox: Craft Play Share

Sandbox is a pixel-based simulator of a powerful god who has to create entire worlds with the movement of his hand. With stone, water and earth in your “arsenal”, you will grow plants, build mountains and fill nature with life. With the development, you will gain access to more advanced elements — metal, electricity, light bulbs and others. If you get bored, you can create evil robots that are trying to destroy everything around, or bloodthirsty zombies. nine0003

The game has really a lot of possibilities (for example, you can even write your own music), but we recommend that you find out about them yourself by downloading this sandbox for Android for free.

Simple Sandbox 2

Simple Sandbox 2 is a sandbox that looks like a mixture of Roblox and Minecraft. Once in the cubic universe, the player will be able to create their own world from scratch or visit an existing one. The game has rich building opportunities — you can build houses, various structures and entire cities. nine0003

What to do? Simple Sandbox 2 has an abundance of vehicles and weapons — players can arrange firefights on their own or helicopters, tanks and even robots, as well as arrange hot races on improvised tracks. This is another great sandbox that you can download for free on Android.

ARK: Survival Evolved

ARK: Survival Evolved is quite a popular survival simulator, the desktop version of which has ~300000 reviews on Steam. You can play on Android, and for free. The player will dive into a prehistoric world full of dinosaurs and other creatures and try to survive as long as possible. To do this, he will have to collect resources, create weapons and fight both predators and other gamers. nine0003

Dinosaurs here are not only enemies, but also friends — they can be tamed, raised and saddled. The game has over 80 types of formidable predators, and the user will surely find a «pet» to their liking.

Last Day on Earth

The role-playing game Grim Soul: Dark Fantasy Survival takes place in a dark fantasy world. The gameplay is identical to Last Day on Earth — the player has to explore new lands, craft items and hide in a shelter from zombie knights and other monsters. A whole castle is presented as a base, and a gamer, like in any RPG, can go to ancient dungeons and look for rare artifacts, resources, weapons. nine0003

Although the gameplay is not revolutionary, the game boasts an excellent dark fantasy atmosphere, as well as graphics that are pleasant to play on Android.

SimCity BuildIt

SimCity BuildIt is a mobile version of the popular SimCity. The player will act as a city planner and will build a whole metropolis. Difficult tasks fall on his shoulders — in addition to building buildings and laying roads, it will be necessary to solve various problems (traffic regulation, garbage collection, electricity supply, and others). The headache will also be exacerbated by the city dwellers, whose desires must be satisfied so that high taxes can be imposed. nine0003

Everything is like in a real sandbox, only instead of sand towers there are whole skyscrapers. This is another excellent representative of the genre, even if it does not have a pronounced purpose.
