WINDFORCE 2X cooling system features two 90mm unique blade fans, alternate spinning, one composite copper heat pipe direct touches the GPU and 3D active fans, together delivering an effective heat dissipation capacity for higher performance at lower temperatures.
ALTERNATE SPINNING
The GIGABYTE “Alternate Spinning” is the only solution that can solve the turbulent airflow of adjacent fans. Since the adjacent fans rotate in the same direction, the airflow direction is opposite between the fans, which will cause turbulent airflow and reduce heat dissipation efficiency. GIGABYTE turns the adjacent fans in the opposite direction, so that the airflow direction between the two fans is the same, reducing the turbulence and enhancing the airflow pressure.

UNIQUE BLADE FAN
The airflow is spilt by the triangular fan edge, and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface, effectively enhancing the airflow.

The 3D Active Fan provides semi-passive cooling, and the fans will remain off when the GPU is in a low load or low power game.

HEAT PIPE DIRECT TOUCH
The shape of the pure copper heat pipe maximizes the direct contact area with the GPU, enhancing heat transfer. The heat pipe also covers the VRAM through a large metal plate contact to ensure proper cooling.
COMPOSITE HEAT-PIPE
The composite heat-pipe combines thermal conductivity and phase transition to efficiently manage the heat transfer between two solid interfaces which increases cooling capacity.

GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB received low performance and high performance in Ethereum mining
NVIDIA did not even begin to announce the start of sales of the updated GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card 12 GB of video memory. It seemed that it would become a breath of fresh air, and would reduce the price of gaming video cards, and would also be unprofitable for miners.
The last assumption was guarded on the information that the card should receive 192-bit bus. At the same time, the number of CUDA cores was increased. In a word, it was supposed to be a real Christmas present from NVIDIA and a gaming hit. Yesterday we learned about preliminary prices in European stores, but today there was depressing information about very illogical decisions on the part of the manufacturer.
Since some time ago NVIDIA announced that all new video cards will come out with a hashrate lock, everyone assumed that the updated GeForce RTX 2060 also comes with the LHR algorithm. Alas, there is nothing of the kind, but instead, the novelty even received an increase in hash rates. So, a regular 6 GB GeForce RTX 2060 can offer from 28.6 MH/s, while the new version will offer miners 31.65 MH/s. The growth is small, but even this is enough for the video card to become a victim of resellers and miners.
Apparently, NVIDIA is well aware of what is happening, so they did not even bother to release an official statement about the appearance of an updated video card on sale.
In European stores, the GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB arrived in small quantities. It can be assumed that the main part went straight to numerous farms, and the miners themselves are celebrating victory, because NVIDIA has released for them almost the best model for mining Ethereum.
If you look closely, the table gives incorrect data regarding the hash rates on the GeForce RTX 3060 LHR. The fact is that the data is indicated there taking into account 50% efficiency, but today miners have unlocked the hashrate up to 70%. Thus, the GeForce RTX 3060 LHR produces 34 MH / s and is still faster than the updated GeForce RTX 2060. By the way, the novelty also loses to its prototype GeForce RTX 2060 Super, which generates from 44 MH / s and higher. The latter today costs more than the faster GeForce RTX 3060 LHR and is in short supply.
If you are interested in gaming tests, they are also carried out. Below you can watch a video confirming that the new product turned out to be far from the performance of the GeForce RTX 2060 Super and did not go so far from the regular version of the GeForce RTX 2060.
At the moment, it is not clear how large the deliveries will be, and it is difficult even to predict prices in Russian retail. In the meantime, only miners are satisfied, already rubbing their hands in anticipation of the GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB.
