altair. pl draws attention to the fact that at the military parade held on July 29, 2013 in the capital of Peru, Lima, in honor of the 192nd anniversary of the independence of this country, RPG-7 (USA) hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers — developed and produced by American company Airtronic USA Inc. modified «clones» of the famous Soviet RPG-7. Peru was the first known foreign user of the system.
Airtronic USA (website) is now the main manufacturer of 40-mm M203 series anti-personnel grenade launchers. The clone RPG-7 was first introduced to Airtronic USA in 2009 (according to some reports, it was developed on behalf of the US Special Forces), and has since been modified several times. Unlike the «typical» RPG-7, the Airtronic USA grenade launcher is equipped with seven Picatinny rails on all sides, allowing you to attach various body kits, devices and sights to it. It is possible to mount additional handles of various shapes and butt from the M4 carbine. The launch tube of the RPG-7 (USA) is not cast, as in the original Soviet version, but rolled from durable 4140/4150 gun steel, which made it possible to lighten the weapon, increase its accuracy, increase the range of aimed fire with optoelectronic sights up to 1000 m , and increase the life of the pipe to 1000 shots.
The mass of the grenade launcher is 6.35 kg with a length of 909 mm. The RPG-7 (USA) demonstrated by the Peruvians at the July 29 parade were equipped with American EOTech Holographic sights.
RPG-7 (USA) allows you to use all standard shots for the RPG-7 family. The development company claims to have tested its grenade launcher with shots of all types and manufacturers that it could find in the world. In addition, Airtronic USA itself has developed another modification of the grenade launcher, designated as Mk 777, with two types of independently developed grenades, which, unlike the typical RPG-7 (USA), are docked in a container for a shot to the rear of the shortened tube of the grenade launcher. The unloaded mass of the Mk 777 grenade launcher is only 3.5 kg, but the tube life is reduced to 250 rounds.

12/19/2020 [13:54], Konstantin Khodakovsky Koch Media and domestic studio Dark Crystal Games have announced their collaboration on Encased role-playing game — Koch Media Group will support the global launch of a sci-fi project. Further details on the collaboration and launch date will be revealed at a later date, but the game is set to release in 2021 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
As the studio promises, the partnership will allow it to retain full creative freedom and ensure the support of an international publisher. Moreover, thanks to Koch Media, each character under the Dome will get their own voice — full professional voice acting is promised. In addition, the project will be translated into many languages (so far there are only Russian and English). Developers will share the details of upcoming updates and improvements very soon. Creative Director of Dark Crystal Games Vyacheslav Kozikhin stated: “From the very first day of development, Encased has been an independent project created with our own resources and with the support of the wonderful Kickstarter community . The partnership with Koch Media will preserve our creative freedom, but will also help bring the game to a huge global audience. Encased will now have full voice acting, localization into additional languages and will be released immediately on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Encased has been in Steam Early Access since September 26, 2019, is on sale for 499 ₽ and currently has a very positive rating (82% of approvals out of almost 900 responses). The developers are constantly updating their brainchild: on Monday, December 21, the fourth update of the early access version will be released. It should make the gameplay much more interesting and convenient, bring updates to the world under the Dome, including new heroes and fresh adventures.
According to the creators, Encased is a tribute to turn-based sci-fi RPGs in the vein of Fallout, Divinity: Original Sin, Wasteland and Shadowrun. Here you have to make decisions, fight, study anomalies, survive, create items and find equipment. The action takes place in the anomalous Zone under the Dome, cut off from the outside world. Immediately after the prologue, the hero finds himself in an open and accessible world for research.
