Was ist Rayquaza für ein Pokémon? Rayquaza stammt aus der dritten Spielgeneration von Pokémon und gehört zu den Typen Drache und Flug. Mit Groudon und Kyogre bildet es zusammen das Trio der Wetter-Legenden. Regelmäßig trefft ihr es in den Raids der Stufe 5.
Wann kommt Rayquaza? Den Boss findet ihr ab dem 22. Februar um 10:00 Uhr Ortszeit in Pokémon GO. Er wird dann am Wochenende (25. und 26. Februar) von den Raids des Hoenn-Tour-Events abgelöst. Vermutlich kehrt es danach bis Anfang März in die Raids zurück.

Update vom 22. Februar 2023: Rayquaza ist zurück in den Tier-5-Raids von Pokémon Go und erlernt obendrein zum ersten Mal seit Release des Spiels die Attacke Breitseite. Die erscheint theoretisch nicht unbedingt stärker als Wutanfall, doch lohnt sich in PvE-Umgebungen sehr wohl, wenn ihr weniger der Fan davon seid, bei Raidkämpfen den Attacken des Bosses auszuweichen. Originalmeldung: Trainer können es in Pokémon GO bald mit einem neuen legendären Pokémon aufnehmen: dem Drachen/Flug-Monster Rayquaza.
Bei Rayquaza handelt es sich um einen Tier-5-Raidboss mit 49.808 Lebenspunkten und 2.102 bis 2.191 Fang-CP auf Level 20. Das Pokémon profitiert von windigem Wetter, das seine Fang-CP auf Level 25 auf 2.627 bis 2.739 erhöht, und seine Attacken im Kampf verstärkt. Um Rayquaza zu besiegen, benötigt ihr insgesamt zwei bis vier hochlevelige Trainer, oder aber fünf bis zwanzig niedrigstufige Trainer. Damit euer nächster Raid-Kampf ein Erfolg wird, haben wir euch auf Basis eines Guides von Pokemon Go Hub eine Reihe von Tipps zusammengestellt.
Rayquaza setzt im Kampf entsprechend seines Drachen/Flug-Typs auf die folgenden möglichen Attacken:
— Drachenrute (Typ Drache, Sofortattacke)
— Luftschnitt (Typ Flug, Sofortattacke)
— Wutanfall (Typ Drache, Lade-Attacke)
— Aero-Ass (Typ Flug, Lade-Attacke)
— Antik-Kraft (Typ Gestein, Lade-Attacke)
Weil Rayquaza abgesehen von Wutanfall über keine übermäßig gefährlichen, aufgeladenen Angriffe verfügt, gestaltet sich der Kampf gegen das legendäre Pokémon als verhältnismäßig einfach.
Als Konter-Pokémon setzt ihr gegen Rayquaza vor allem auf Eis-, Fee-, Drache- und Gestein-Pokémon, die über die effektivsten Angriffe gegen den legendären Tier-5-Boss verfügen. Da Wutanfall aber die stärkste und gefährlichste Attacke von Rayquaza ist, setzt ihr besser nicht auf Drachen als Angreifer, da es inzwischen deutlich sinvollere Eis-Angreifer gibt. Hier lohnen sich primär die folgenden Pokémon mit den entsprechenden Attacken:

«Raid!» Day for Pokemon GO Fest 2021 offers players the chance to experience a ton of Legendary Battle Raids as each hour brings players a different batch of raid bosses for players to meet at local gyms. There are some very important Pokémon that will be hatching from these 5-star Gym Eggs, so Trainers who have spare Raid Passes can take on tons of battles and add some very strong Pokémon to their collections.

Rayquaza is a combination of Dragon and Flying type which means trainers will want to use Ice, Rock, Dragon and Fairy type moves to take advantage of his weaknesses. Players should keep in mind that the list above represents the best chips and move sets based on the current meta game.
Just because players don’t have these particular Pokémon or moves doesn’t mean they can’t secure a win and earn an encounter. The main thing to keep in mind is that the lineup chosen should be geared towards using the best Ice-type Pokémon and movesets available. Don’t be afraid to burn some Stardust, TMs, and Candies by preparing at least a couple of strong tokens ahead of time.
Players who manage to team up with a decent group of other friends and avoid Rayquaza’s resistance should be able to win the raid and move on to the fight. Keep in mind that team and damage bonuses can help players get extra premium Poké Balls to use during the Bounty Showdown, so having a big damage dealer has its advantages.

Understanding Virizion’s weaknesses in Pokemon Go will help you counter and catch one of the Swords of Justice Pokemon. He is weak to many — Fire, Fairy, Psychic, Poison and Ice, but especially flying type damage. Master what you need to win and you’ll increase your chances of a brilliant win.
Grass and Fighting Pokémon will appear in 5-Star Raids with a new exclusive move and a chance to catch Shiny Virizion. To do this, trainers need to know how to beat Virizion as quickly as possible, and this handy guide will help you get there.
Virizion’s Pokémon Go Weakness
Virizion is a Grass and Fighting type Pokémon, giving it a variety of different weaknesses. Gen 5 Legendary is weak to Fire, Magic, Psychic, Poison, and Ice-type attacks. However, Flying-type attacks deal four times more damage.
Virizion Counters in Pokemon Go
Given the shortcomings of Virizion that we’ve outlined, trainers should really consider putting together a full team of flying types, especially with two viable Mega Pokémon that can fill the role.
Mega Charizard Y and Mega Pidgeot are perfect for creating a team of flying characters to take down Virizion as quickly as possible. Other flying types such as Yveltal, Moltres, and Lugia are ideal non-mega options for battle.
While there are other powerful types that can deal super effective damage to Virizion, Flight is what you need. If flying types aren’t right for you, psychic types are the second most powerful type in Pokemon Go to counter Viriziono.
Mega Latios and Latios are powerful psychic-type legendary items, while Mega Alakazam can greatly harm Virizion. Non-mega options for psychic teams include Lugia and Mewtwo.

Along with the above counters, trainers should also be aware of the moves that Virizion can use in Pokemon Go.
Virizon has two quick attacks, both of which are pretty insignificant. Rapid Attack is a normal attack that doesn’t deal super effective damage, while Zen Headbutt is a psychic-type attack that deals high damage to poison types, but only resists flying types and psychic types.
This gives Dark and Flying types like Yveltal and Honchcrow an edge against Virizion, but when it comes to Legendary’s charged attacks, it’s a slightly different story.
Melee (Combat) and Leaf Blade (Grass) won’t cause any problems for Flyers or Psychotypes, but Stone Blade will. Rock-type moves deal super effective damage to Flying Pokémon. However, the one-third chance that the Virizion you’re facing has this move doesn’t overshadow the benefits of using Flying Pokémon.
